We had the absolute pleasure of being served by Jenny, and she truly made our eating experience unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, her warm presence and genuine care stood out. Our waitress Jenny was fantastic we had a friend with a gluten allergy and Jenny was very helpful with her needs , food was hot and tasty and all staff was friendly

Had breakfast this morning and it was a really nice experience. Fully believe this was down to our server Claire who went above and beyond to look after us whilst we were there. We even commented how she’s a credit to the restaurant because the whole time we were there she didn’t stop! Thank you 😊

Great place to stop for a family meal. Good food at a good price.

Well where to start... decided to go to harvester Malpas road for my birthday.. Myself and partner and my son.. After hearing good reviews we thought we ll go there.. We all decided we would have the more expensive rib eye steak myself and my son ordering medium rare my partner medium.. Soon as it came we were ready to tuck in.. Myself and son, s was more raw than med rare and my partners being the same when she showed me hers I called waiter to return it.. They then not only brought the same steak back just cooked a bit more but it was just the same full of blood .. Waiter then took it away and brought another.. The 3 of us complained how chewy the steak was, being ribeye should be more tender .. I would never recommend the steak to anyone.. Plus my son and myself had nearly finished our meal whilst my partner was just starting hers.. As it was my birthday and I didn't want to kick off and cause a scene and disappoint my day.. I just couldn't wait to get out of there.. Would never go back again..a big disappointment and disgusted..Must say the waiter was a nice guy but there again he's payed to be nice..

Went for breakfast in Malpas Road Harvester, Newport and served by Clare. Clare went above and beyond to ensure we had a constant top up of coffee and serve with a smile, nothing was too much.

Our waitress Clare was so welcoming. We always make sure we ask for Clare. She always gives the best service you could possibly ask for. Constantly checking up to make sure we are taken care of and have everything we need. She’s always so accommodating to me and my family who are very fussy people. Could not give Clare enough recognition if I tried! Would recommend this restuarant to anyone looking for a relaxing meal out.

Always a good place for a meal ot. Good variety of dishes, value for money, nice atmosphere and setting and consistent which is so important nowadays.

The staff were very rude indeed! Food was burnt and they argued that it was fine to eat before agreeing to redo it! Waiter became even more rude as time passed. We were relieved to get out of there! Never again!!

I love there salad, you can eat as much as you like, even better than the main dish

We visited harvester in Malpas , very disappointed, we sat by the table 10 minutes and no one came to see us, we usually like there but today very disappointed. Staff talking each other but no one bothered to come to see us. We just left

Stopped for a late meal. Help yourself salad bowl and a good pub grub menu. Intelligent, cheerful girl looked after us.

Been here a couple of times now....never again.......the food is horrendous,,corn flake chicken!!! I had a burger which was cold ,the few chips which were served were just terrible...........and as for the so called bread rolls served with the salad........even the seagulls in the carpark ran from them.........the staff were very good tho...

Food was fine as you would expect from a harvester. Customer service was slow even though we were on of about 4 tables there and the staff all seemed miserable which I get mainly working in retail and hospitality but I hate people and I can do it so anyone can

Very pleased with service and beautiful meal

Returned 5 weeks later my wife and myself. Both had sirloin steaks medium and medium rear. Both cooked as requested. Frendly attentive staff . Birthday offer so only paid for one steak . Very good offer. Will now download app for myself. Family meal midday . Five people all pleased with their meals . Very polite waitress. Meals came at the ŕight time we had finished the salad bar thing. Desserts were large and well presented. With drinks about £25 a head will return. Another family birthday visit all still good.

Really friendly staff. Not a long wait for a Saturday night. Service was 5*. Really good experience for a first time in an Harvester.

Dined today using my Free Meal vchr on my App, gained by number of visits. Free Meal option I chose was a 10oz Sirloin Steak (cooked medium rare) & served with Jacket Potato, Mushrooms, Onion Rings, Peas & Tomato. My compliments to Rishi the Chef - my Steak was juicy, full of flavour & cooked exactly as I requested.

Good example of a Harvester. Been here loads and they're pretty consistent.

The Harvester is always good for a nice meal to get together with friends.

The service was great. I asked for booth seating as my friend is disabled and finds that better. We were given that and near the disabled toilets so that was so helpful. The food was fresh and tasty. I normally go to a different harvester nearer where I live, but the ribs in this one were much better, so tasty.

Best Harvester I have been to for a long time. Staff are very friendly, food area is spotless and food was great.

Bit late writing this..Went to the Harvester on Sat 15th Feb...I have to say the food was good we all really enjoyed it..The whole experience was made even better by one of the best waitresses I have come across...Her name was Clare, she was very thought and attentive to our needs and really looked after us, especially my Grandaughter. Clare you are a credit to your job and the restaurant...Top notch and thank you very much. It was worth the travel down from Cambridge All the times I have been in there for food the waitresses have all been good but Clare stands out She deserves a pay rise😁

The food is always lovely and the staff very friendly and professional. Always get a parking space and restaurant is well-located. I love coming here. My one and only gripe, is that for my last two visits it has been cold inside, despite being sat near the open kitchen. My elderly mum had to keep her coat on for a while. For our previous visit it made us leave early. I appreciate this is probably trying to save money, but it was noticable and you did ask! Hence four stars for atmosphere instead of five.

Lovely staff! We were served by Annalee and she was amaziing. Super efficient, checked in on us but didn't overdo it like many others, explained the menu well and was very friendly. Food was done really quickly, as soon as we'd finished our salads, our mains arrived. The food quality wasn't as great as we're used to, might have just caught it on an off day but it wont stop is from coming again.

Nice food and friendly server as always. Haven’t been for a couple of months and what used to cost us as family of four (Children now aged 12 and 5) £50 - £60 today cost us £80! It’s a shame as we won’t be able to come as often now.

Dropped in for a quick meal today. Lovely welcome on arrival and we were shown to a table promptly. Good menu choices and varied salad available. Drinks were good and service was fab. Reasonable prices and with a discount voucher even better. Great experience. Keep up the good work.

Staff lovely only had one course, and it took just over 2 hours of service very slow, dress up, warm, freezing inside.

We were greeted by a pleasant and friendly member of staff who whilst escorting us to our table of 8, recommended the Turkey Roast ‘Best in the years I’ve worked here’. Drinks were ordered whilst awaiting the remainder of our party, our server was Zoe, my partners drink ‘Prosecco’ was delivered and was clearly flat/lifeless, on bringing this to Zoe’s attention I was curtly informed it was fresh and she had just opened the bottle! I asked for the drink to be changed, and was informed it would be out of the same bottle! Amazingly, the replacement drink had bubbles and was fizzing as you would expect from this drink. The main of Roast Turkey was at best less than average and lacked all of the vegetables described in the menu. On discussion with the rest of my party, we were all of the same ‘unsatisfactory opinion of the meal, best summed up by my niece as We’d have been better going to McDonalds. Overall very poor and we won’t be rushing back. As we regularly dine at our local Harvester in Coventry.

Don't order a delivery or takeout from here the orders are always wrong and cold they miss items out from your order food quality is very poor and overcooked or burnt no taste to the food ordered a ultimate breakfast what I had was far from and put straight in bit yes I had a refund from uber eats but besides the point this is well know restaurant chain the standards are usually good but not here poor management too

Since moving to the UK 5 years ago, we’ve been looking for a spot to replace our favourite back home, Spur. Harvester was such a fab find, and it’s much nicer to sit in than order from a couch and miss a great night out!! Thank you for great food, a great family atmosphere and great service (thank you Janine, you are the bestest bestest by far!).
