Second time here visiting family in the lovely town of Pencoed. Had the small breakfast, which filled me & coffee. Well cooked and great service from very nice young staff. All for 7 pounds, worth a visit, would recommend.

We are regulars at this amazing little gem right beside the canal. The food is lovely and their toastie’s are amazing … well worth a visit.

Was out early in Port Talbot and needed somewhere for breakfast. Read some good reviews here and went along. What an absolute delight. A genuine local restaurant rum by the very pleasant owners. No frills but a great value for money breakfast. I had the full breakfast, my wife had the veggie avocado one. Both very good hot and freshly cooked. Had seen a few posts complaining about the coffee. Well it might not be the very best I've had but it was perfectly OK for the price paid. If your passing through on the motorway I really would recommend this little family run gem over the big chains, it beats them hands sown for authenticity, friendliness and value.

As a family we visited this shop as we had been advised how nice it was on first appearance it was nice clean and tidy and the menu looked good ordered food and coffees but while waiting was looking around and 2 older ladies were stood behind counter chatting and on there phones while the younger members of the team were doing all the work which we found quite unfair looked like the younger ones being told what to do while the older ladies were allowed to chat and be on there phones maybe they should all help and not leave it to the younger people looked like slave labour from a customer point of view

Unfortunately this meal was awful. The mixed grill was bland and the pork was bleeding. My partner had the ribs and it was flavourless and extremely fatty- very poor quality. The children shared a burger which was such a low quality meat it looks so processed. We brought it to the attention of the bar maid within 5 minutes of the meal- they were adamant to take the mixed grill and cook it but in fact we asked them not to and they still included it on the bill despite not eating it (£25!) The ribs were taken off the bill but it was such a poor experience. It makes sense that the restaurant was empty when we walked in. Very very poor quality food for not cheap prices and the celebratory meal we were hoping for.

This restaurant is disorganised and the staff disinterested. We booked our table a month in advance as we were attending a concert in the venue next door (20 meters away), and were allotted an hour slot between 6-7. We arrived at the venue and were left to stand outside for over 5 mins before being shown to our table. We ordered (via a QR code) as quickly as we could due to needing to be out by 7.20 at the latest. We chased our food order three times (each time being told 5-10 mins), before having to give up, leave the restaurant, and go hungry to our concert. I was told that the hour + wait was due to being short staffed and because they had many walk-ins. Perhaps don't take in the walk-ins if you can't get food to your booked customers within the hour (or ideally 25 mins). No one gave us a food wait time at any point, or apologised that we had to leave empty bellied after waiting for over an hour - just a shrug of the shoulders. To add insult to empty-bellies, they told us that they personally would be perfectly happy to wait 1 hr for food, and that in fact they would be happy to wait 2 hrs!! Such rude children!

Just popped in for a coffee, the lovely smell of cooking encouraged me to stay a little longer and have a full breakfast which I thoroughly enjoyed. Worth a visit on Beaufort street

A beautiful little place, only went in browsing. But ended up buying some beautiful jewelry Lovely staff. Very helpful. Clean and tidy place. Would have liked to have stayed for tea and cake. But was limited to time. Well worth the visit had some real beautiful gifts in here or simply treat yourself like I did. And will purchase more jewelry from here on line in the near future ❤️ as I was on holiday from Kent will visit again when I next come to wales

Best boba ever!! The service was amazing, and the boba tea was delicious! I can't wait to go back. We're very lucky to have a shop like this in Neath.

We were in Maesteg for a visit and thought we’d call into the market but found it had permanently closed 5 months previously. This cafe used to be in the market but is now in a precinct area just outside of it. We both went for the all day breakfast for £4 - great value - bacon, sausage, egg, hash brown, beans or tomatoes, mushrooms and toast as well as a mug of tea or coffee. For an extra £1 you could have had another egg, bacon, sausage, hash brown and a slice of black pudding. The place was clean and tidy and the staff friendly. If we ever return to Maesteg we’d be happy to return here.
