A beautiful little place, only went in browsing. But ended up buying some beautiful jewelry Lovely staff. Very helpful. Clean and tidy place. Would have liked to have stayed for tea and cake. But was limited to time. Well worth the visit had some real beautiful gifts in here or simply treat yourself like I did. And will purchase more jewelry from here on line in the near future ❤️ as I was on holiday from Kent will visit again when I next come to wales

Always great coffee. We go to Kismet everytime we are in the area. Not just a coffee shop, it's also a gift shop. Friendly staff.

Had previously visited the shop but only found out today they now have a cafe - so glad I did! Fantastic service and delicious food. Plenty of options for lunch; toasties, jacket potatoes, soup etc. Excellent choice of hotb& cold drinks. Decor is very tasteful plus lots of lovely things to look at in the shop afterwards. Can't wait to go back!

Popped into the shop to buy a few tree decorations & stopped for coffee . Lovely informal coffee shop inside. A room downstairs and up ( if you can manage the stairs) I sat downstairs in comfy leather chairs with a low table beside a “fire place”. Had a ham baguette & coffee. The ham was thick cut home cooked carved & warm baguette was beautiful artisan bread. Served with coleslaw & small side salad. £4.95 for baguette which was so worth it! Was fabulous will visit again! Bring your purse because you won’t leave without buying from the shop either!

Visited here to meet a friend for a bit of lunch. We sat downstairs which is cramped if you have a buggy. We had a lovely lunch which was warm & fresh. Reasonable prices for food.

We had 4 different sandwiches, all were very tasty. The decor was interesting and reflected the items which were on sale in the gift shop which is part of the business. The staff were friendly and service was fast and efficient. Well worth a visit.

Love everything about Kismet....quirky and unique stock for sale envelopes a comfy seating area both up and downstairs serving lunchtime snacks and coffees. Baguettes, homemade soup and poached eggs on toast to name my favourites. Kismet also provide afternoon tea which is served on bone china crockery, with yummy cakes and fresh sandwiches and plentiful tea or coffee. 10/10 for Kismet

If you are looking for chatting with friends amongst a bit of Shabby S**t this is ok. Good decor and service ok. Food disappointing. A lot of work done on fancy presentation but little substance. My sandwich could have been made with supermarket sliced value bread. Gift shop below is good.

This is a lovely place for a light lunch. Homemade soups, tasty sandwiches and toasties all served with side salad and coleslaw. Good coffee and extremely friendly staff. I'm a regular.

This is my favourite little coffee shop in the whole of Caerphilly. It has such a lovely character and friendly staff. When I visit from Surrey I tend to visit everyday. The food is reasonable priced and I love how the coffee comes with a little biscuit. In addition the staff are so accommodating, when my daughter was sick in the cafe they let my partner change her in the staff toilets. In addition, I lost my purse and they kept it and contacted me to tell me they found which was a great relief.

Lovely for brunch / lunch - this little gem hides in a higher-end gift & jewellery shop just off Blackwood High St. I live locally and (as a rule) if I need a "special" gift for someone, I come here. They stock beautiful cards & gifts as well as ranges like Nomination & Kath Kitson. Tables are available downstairs & in a mezzanine level above serving light bites from tea, toast & a poached egg to full-on afternoon tea (pre-booking required for the afternoon tea).

Fabulous little place. Classier than the other coffee shops in the town. Food is fresh and place is clean. Added bonus of a vintage atmosphere. Great for a lunch break, food can be pre-ordered. Friendly staff, always smiling

Was really looking forward to visiting after reading the reviews but sadly very disappointed. Went upstairs at around 1.15pm as downstairs was busy, sat at a table for 15 mins and no one came to serve us so decided to leave but as we walking out noticed it was quiet downstairs as all but one table was now empty so thought we may get served here. Sat and waited for another 10 mins and still nobody came to serve us, so left.Think they need to invest in staff if they want to attract new customers as customer service was non existent during our visit so cannot recommend this cafe.

I was drawn in by the lovely retail items and once inside I saw there was a teashop. We stopped for lattes and teacakes, its a quaint little place, well worth stopping by.

I don't know if they have a new chef or if they were on holiday but this was so different to the delicious food we've had before that I couldn't believe the difference. It was all frozen: chips, onion rings, burger. Family couldn't even eat it, terrible. Used to proper cooked meals there like home cooked fresh, felt burger used to be made there not like the flat plastic thing I was given tonight. Didn't mind paying prices for what it was but not for this meal. Not going back.

I was starving so finding what looked like one pubic hair I looked past. But to then find 4 more in my bag of chips o draw the line. Disgusting. Such a shame the lack and level of hygiene. Won't be returning again

We had 3 Xmas boxes, one cod and chips, and a cheesy chips. Delicious as always- we're grateful to have this shop locally and usually order once or twice a month... Especially recommend the mushy peas!

This was the best afternoon tea I have had for a long time! Food was delicious and only £10 for afternoon tea. Although I think price with go up in the new year. Service was great and made to feel very welcome. Can't wait to return.
