Just a lovely cafe, food is always hot and fresh, they accommodate all my awkward requests and the prices are insanely cheap!

Absolutely loved the service and the food was delicious will definitely be visiting again the atmosphere was amazing aswell

Food very good not expensive and a good cup of coffee,lot of charity work for local people carried out here staff are volunteers.

Lovely place to stop for a coffee before walking to the local castle. I had poached egg over toast and a cappuccino.

We found this little gem of a cafe after visiting the castle. The food was exceptional yet costed very little. Large breakfast was £7.50. Highly recommended.

A great find! We popped in here on a whim to get breakfast before catching a train. Great value food, both the veggie and meat fry ups, and very friendly staff. Such good value we went back the following morning too.

Such a lovely cafe with friendly staff who do a lot for the community. Great food and amazing customer service, definitely worth the visit.

Sadly I haven't been to this location for a while due to covid and other issues, but its a great place for any person visiting or living in Caerphilly that have to pass this place on their way to the station or into town. Due to its location its never busy and I have had a few meetings there in a nice relaxing atmosphere. The prices are more than reasonable when I used to visit and would also make sure I added an extra 20 or 30 mins if I knew I was passing through so I could go in and have a coffee and relax. It's a shame that its not in an ideal placement but I feel it may lose some of its charm if it was a busy cafe.

Managed well, wonderful welcome. Great Breakfast all for a good cause. We did a Shared Breakfast. Meaning, an Individual who is Homeless can call in for a Free Breakfast.

We visited the cafe on Wednesday after being served by a very rude member of staff we waited for our breakfast to arrive when it did the bacon and sausage was unedable the egg was rock hard even though we asked for a soft egg and to add to the joys it was burnt on the bottom the beans were cold the last straw came when we heard swearing from behind the counter the smell of smoke of the rude member of staff that served us was the iceing on the cake. We will never visit the place again a total waste of good money

This place in Caerphilly is a hidden gem . Everyone who works here is a volunteer and are able to learn, and gain skills, & most importantly confidence. The food is all freshly made and the cakes are amazing !! Coffee made fresh to order from lattes to hot choc ,also a wide range of speciality teas. Vegetarians are well catered for also . Nothing is too much trouble !!! The price range is brilliant . They also do a shared coffee which is a pound . This cafe is all about community and they also are part of the plastic free award . This is definitely somewhere you should visit if you are ever in Caerphilly!!!♡♡

Found this lovely little Cafe by chance. My mother ordered the Ham,egg and chips and I had a small breakfast. Meals arrived piping hot and great! Staff very pleasant. Usually eat at the large chains when in the area but after this visit will definitely come again.

Lovely cafe right at the top end of the town across the road from the train station. Great food from breakfasts, baguettes and snacks to a varied meal choice all at reasonable prices. It's run by a charity so all proceeds go to good use.Lovely place and friendly staff.

Amazing staff combined with lovely service and excellent food. I Couldn’t have asked for more. I also found the prices very reasonable considering it is in a busy spot in Caerphilly. I will definitely return in the future.

Top quality breakfast, great value, friendly staff

My Mum and I are frequent visitors to Tyfu and the food has never been less than perfect. The staff are so lovely its like popping over a friends for lunch. The prices are great and the cafe cosy. The staff work their socks off.

Dos amigos y yo fuimos para el desayuno una mañana pedí un desayuno grande de tamaño, conseguimos un amigo No 1 huevos escalfados sobre una tostada nos pedimos fritos, amigo No 2 ordenados uno de sus ofertas especiales, no deje que le tienen para el precio que se muestra. La mujer detrás del mostrador no podía hacer funcionar el cambio para darnos. Me dijo que yo había pedido un gran desayuno me dijeron que no, así que sé lo que pedí me preguntó también por sólo tomates y judías y tomates todos dieron mezclados en el centro del plato y un huevo crudo. No fue una experiencia muy buena para decir lo menos.

Tres adultos y dos niños se hicieron muy, muy bienvenida por todo el personal. Gales estaban jugando Inglaterra más tarde en el día, mis amigos son inglés y tuve el orgullo de ser galés dada la hospitalidad mostrada.Había una buena variedad de comida muy agradable, que van desde carne a vegano (yo) para sin gluten. La familia, un surtido de mesas grandes, pequeñas mesas y sofás.Es accesible en silla de ruedas, pero está en una pequeña colina, así que pueden hacer una diferencia.

Amiga me convenció a ir debido a comentarios. Bastante café con lo que parecía estar bien. Citas agradable interesante en la pared pero decepción por la falta de personalidad del personal. Por desgracia, el ambiente deprimente. El café estaba bueno pero en fin se dignó 2 artículos que no comenzaba bien teniendo en cuenta que éramos los únicos y ellos confirmando y escribir la orden. La comida era rápido, pero así nos comer y salir. No es el mejor comienzo para el día

Worst breakfast I have ever had. I ordered a coffee and wasn't offered a specific type so just assumed everyone got a plain black coffee, next person comes in and ordered a coffee and gets asked which type. There was only 2 people in there so it isn't like it was too busy that they were making mistakes.

This cafe is priceless. Excellent customer service and top class fresh food made to order. No problems when asked to meet my requirements, i.e. decaff coffee and vegetarian.

4 de nosotros fuimos a comer y nos quedamos impresionados con la comida. Buenas raciones de tamaño a un precio muy razonable. Tenían una variedad de ofertas especiales en la junta, así como patatas de la chaqueta, baguettes, etc. Con un buen servicio y confortable entorno si estás comiendo o simplemente tomando una taza de té.

La comida es buenísima, gran precio. El personal es muy agradable, ya que su nivel de negocios es el número de mesas pleno desarrollo debería aumentar especialmente a la hora del almuerzo.

This place has gone downhill fast. It used to be a fantastic place to go for lunch. However, it is now always full of screaming children.

As the title suggests, this is a great little café at the top of Caerphilly Town, very near the bus and railway stations, so ideal for a quick cuppa and bite to eat while waiting. Also it is ideally placed to have a cuppa and a chat with friends before wandering down through town to do a bit of shopping. I have always found the staff to be very polite and helpful and everything is very reasonably priced. Well worth popping in and having a look.

At the very top of Caerphilly's main shopping street - opposite the station entrance on the main road to Cardiff.Independent community cafe supporting a local project. Big cups of excellent Fair Trade tea and coffee. Today I had two large teas, very good ham salad sandwich with seeded brown bread and a banana for £4.00. . Pleasant, light cafe, nicely furnished, books and toys for children. Loos immaculate, staff very good.

Me and a friend met up in Tyfu for a coffee. We both have young children and this cafe was ideal as they have toys and colouring books. We had homemade soup which was not only yummy but also very reasonably priced. It also has schemes to help the local community so I'll definitely visit again.
