We asked Sonia & Marco to cater a buffet for our anniversary between Christmas & New Year. What they provided was exceptional. Excellent variety and quality all freshly prepared and beautifully presented. Our family & friends were full of praise & the compliments were flowing. We will have no hesitation in recommending them, and will certainly be using them again.

the owner Marco has looked after my Dad and deivered food to him since I lost my mum in July, he goes above and beyond and is a really nice guy, his wife is also a very nice person and they have both been extremelly helpful to me and my family. As a child I would visit the cafe after training with Margam Boys club and get a quater of boiled sweets, and play yhe arcade machines, A lovely little place and great staff.

I have had food here a few times and the it has been very nice, when you enter you feel like you are in the old style Italian Cafe and there are not many left. Food was served for three of us and we left with clean plates and the feeling of being full. Will be visiting again soon.

Went thinking Italians know a thing or two about coffee. Couldn’t have been more wrong! After standing there without acknowledging me for over 5 mins whilst he cleared away we finally got served. The coffee was premade in a jug by sink and reheated. Taste wise it was worse than instant desire fact requested cappuccinos. Saw food coming out which basically looked like supermarket frozen crinkle cut chips! This place could be fabulous and retro but instead it is just pitiful.

I don't know what generation of Italian own/run this scruffy place but a print of the Castle in Bardi and a sorry example of the Italian flag does not justify this being portrayed on TA as an Italian cafe supposedly representative of the bye gone Bracchi era. The first thing that will attract your attention will be the scraggy piece of net curtain doggedly flapping in the Margam breeze and the mismatched counter arrangement that looks like a make shift set up at the village fete. The furniture is old and while I can get past the age I just can't get past the general grubby feel of the place. Next let me tell you about the service-there was none.We waited for over 10 minutes without any form of contact from the server who was more interested in the contents of the dishwasher than in attending to us.When he did eventually think we were worthy of his attention -breakfast service was over-by ten minutes as it happened.I was glad of small mercies. We went on to the Garden Centre at Pyle and enjoyed the surroundings of a contemporary clean restaurant, great service and a very enjoyable breakfast.

This cafe took me back several decades. I dont think it has been modernised since the 1960s and is all the better for it. There is very good parking and I felt comfortable as soon as I got through the door, it was so much like the Italian cafes I remember from my youth. The present owners took over from their parents etc. and it remains in a wonderful timewarp. The breakfast was filling with decently thick bacon. My usual quible applies about catering sausages rather than the quality sausages available from local butchers but otherwise it was lovely. To nit pick, an option of black pudding would be nice. The meals are all very good value. Unusually the cafe has no toilets which was strange. Otherwise I loved this cafe

I have tried the Sunday lunch today after hearing great things, what can I say other than I was not disappointed, The welcome you receive when first arriving. Marco the owner comes to take your order and it’s not long before your food is on the table. The food was piping hot, and the beef was like butter, very tasty, the selection of vegetables was amazing seven different to chose from. Homemade roast potatoes the best I’ve ever tasted. And the gem of any dinner is the gravy and was faultless. Sonia cooked the dinner to perfection. I would recommend the Sunday to anyone and will be coming back next week, I’ve tried lots of places and they have fallen short of the mark. I can truly say that Tambinis is a hidden gem in margam Port Talbot. Give them a try if like me you won’t be disappointed. Well done and thanks again 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Tambinis is a family run cafe with Italian connection. Marco and his wife are so very friendly and are always welcoming. They create delicious home cooked meals including breakfasts and lunches. On Wednesdays they serve the traditional Welsh dish of faggots and peas and now they serve Sunday lunches with a home delivery service.Like all cafes you have the choice of beverages and ice creams. For those that like a little bit of history there is 'The Round Chapel', this chapel use to be sited just passed the Margam westward entrance to the M4. The village was named Groes and was very similar to a Costwold village. The Chapel's stonework was dismantled and stones all numbered to be rebuilt in its present location. It is still a working Chapel with a reasonable good number of members.

What a delight to discover this place by chance! So refreshing to have a good selection of gluten-free options, both sweet and savoury - thank you! Lovely atmosphere and much bigger than it looks from the outside, with more space further back and to the side as well as a delightful little garden. Only downside was having to pay 50p extra fro soya/oat milk - but still couldn't go down to 4 stars as everything else was so good.
