Lovely location and food / roast dinner was unreal, the beef was perfectly cooked and tasty everything was perfect, had nice drinks and we were served by Tom who was really nice attentive and funny, the price was good too.

A lovely place for a light lunch, a few different choices of items on a very small menu, food was very nice and the staff are very welcoming.

Used to be great but recently the quality of food has gone down a lot - the chips have taken a massive hit in particular which to me is the staple of honest burgers :(

Beautiful restaurant with the most amazing food. Staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful. Food was beautiful- bursting with flavour. And a tasteful selection of drinks and wines. Perfect place for a special evening.

The menu sticks to the classics, and sometimes that’s exactly what you want. I went for ham, egg, and chips, and it did not disappoint. The ham? Thick-cut, high quality, full of flavor. The eggs? Cooked to perfection with the runny yolks lovely over the chips—crispy on the outside, fluffy inside—the kind you keep sneaking another bite of even when you're full. Service was quick and cheerful, and it’s the kind of place where you can just relax and enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. Whether you’re stopping by for a bite or settling in for a proper session, it’s well worth a visit. A great little spot that does simple food exceptionally well.

I visited for the first time with family on mother's day and was initially happy with my "gluten free" meal after returning home however I became extremely unwell. I wouldnt normally point the finger, but an online search shows the hygiene rating for this establishment is 2 stars and not the 4 stars displayed at the entrance. For this reason I would avoid.

The place has gone to the dogs since this new manager has taken over. He is extremely rude and arrogant. The place is lifeless and the food is not up to standard. Don't waste your money here. And to your reply, I have exactly the right pub!

Had the three course Sunday lunch. Excellent value. All three courses were superb. Very well presented and very well cooked. Service was excellent too-very attentive. Definitely recommend and will definitely return.

My partner was so impressed by the pub that he started his own YouTube channel in the pub giving a review lol. Lovely little Welsh pub, friendly locals, great ale.
