Llevábamos pasando el Mount Pleasant en varias ocasiones pero asumí que estaba cerrado. Sin embargo, nuestros parientes informó que estaba abierto, así que paramos la próxima vez que estaban en la zona. Al haber aparcado fuera aún estábamos un poco incierto si estaba abierto, pero afortunadamente en ese momento alguien dejó el pub, así que entramos por la puerta abierta. Hay dos bares pequeños, y una sala de juegos. Fuimos al bar público donde los lugareños se concentraron en las carreras de caballos en la televisión. Con los establos de BJ Llewellyn al lado de la carretera, hay claramente mucho más interés en los caballos que el equipo de fútbol de primera división o incluso rugby! Un vaso de vino blanco y una pinta de Guinness sólo cuesta 4,50 GBP, mientras que sería por lo menos el doble que en el sur-sureste de Inglaterra, y hubiera sido aún más barato que había elegido uno de los Welsh and bitters", de barril. Pese a ser extraños con acentos diferentes, la gente era muy amable con nosotros. El mobiliario era muy básico, pero con estos precios no puedo quejarme! que se llame de nuevo la próxima vez que estemos en la zona.

This is one of my favourite places lovely atmosphere friendly and helpful staff food is delicious would highly recommend the nut roast on this occasion I've only given two stars for the food but this was only due to them waiting for a food delivery so the available menu was very limited but the food we did have was well presented and definitely good value

58 Main RoadBeen eating from here for a few years and always been good (not award winning good but good) but the last 3 times it has gone down hill and tonight it was inedible dried up chips and sausage in batter that had obviously been hanging about for a while not sure why they would look at the chips and think they were ok to serve tbh and a really smelly fish 😣. Will be finding another chippy

Commercial StreetWe went to the Oak tonight as a family to celebrate my son's birthday. The food (curry's mostly as it was curry night), were delicious. Real chips too. Paula served us tonight and went out of her way to make sure that we had everything that we needed, she welcomed and looked after the children needs too. Rob also as always is very helpful and keen to make eating her an enjoyable experience. Lastly a shout out to the young lad serving us who was also lovely. I think that he is learning off the best. Thank you guys. We appreciate you.

Wingfield TerraceNot as nice as it used to be. Only 2 people eating there when we visited. Long wait at the bar to be served.
