The Lounge in Blaenau Gwent

Just popped in for a coffee, the lovely smell of cooking encouraged me to stay a little longer and have a full breakfast which I thoroughly enjoyed. Worth a visit on Beaufort street

A very pleasant lunchtime meal, in this friendly establishment, we arrived rather late in the day less than an hour before closing, cleaning had already begun, but the staff happily broke off and prepared meals for my wife and I, the coffee is good hot and strong without the bitterness of some places

REALLY great food, took next to no time to arrive and stayed hot for ages!! Ordered breakfast which was fresh and tasty and Jacket Potato with curry which was equally as delicious. Friendly service! Highly recommended!!

The lounge offer great food great coffee with the friendliest staff you will ever meet. The coffee is fresh not instant also offers vegetarian and weight watchers food .do yourself a favour when in brynmawr is pay the lounge a visit ,meal deals daily .

I have eaten here once with my sister on an early morning around 9.00am. The gentleman serving was very helpful although he was the cook too, and the prices aren't too bad. Although, the place itself is very cold with no heaters and the breakfast in my opinion was not cooked fresh. It seems it was warmed up as our breakfast came so quick after we ordered. I don't mind waiting a little longer for food as that is a good sign its being cooked fresh. We literally ordered at 9am was with us at ten past. Other than the odd gripe its quaint and convenient for someone looking for a quick cheap breakfast. Take a bodywarmer though if youu visit early.......

The Lounge offers a great breakfast from as early as 0730 my wife and I had the medium breakfast which was plenty to set you up for most days. Most people would only need a breakfast here prior to their evening meal. The Lounge is amongst the cheapest places in Brynmawr to eat.

We were in town to meet some clients, and found this place on TA it opens at 7.30am and looked nice and friendly, we arrived and had a great welcome, the food and drinks were excellent quality and when I came to pay the bill I could not believe what excellent value it was.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that chef Connor is still working at The Lounge,they have tweaked the menu and continue to offer a great service.

Been here a good few times for breakfast and always been nice food and the staff are friendly. They also do jacket potatoes sandwiches and drinks. Quite small place but good place to eat.

If your looking for good food at great prices then this is for you...traditional english breakfast in various sizes and a veggie option...a range of veggie dishes and slimmers world menu..lots of home cooked food...i never been dissappointed...or left there feeling hungry

We popped in to Brynmawr to explore and came across The Lounge. It was early so decided to go in for breakfast... The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is loads of choice on the menu.. I had the Big breakfast .. it was amazing.. and reasonable.. My wife saw on the menu that they do slimming world meals so asked for a slimming world type breakfast which they made up for her.. Everything was well cooked and again the staff were really good.. We will go back there soon..

Excellent food and service, avoid the tables next to radiators as you will melt. Coffee is very good also. A family restaurant with consistent quality and good value for money

Had breakfast here a few times now and must say it's lovely and great value for money! Beautifully cooked. Can't comment on other food as haven't tried anything else but the menu looks nice and varied. Lovely staff and nice atmosphere.

Hermosa cafetería, el mejor de la ciudad. Los propietarios parecen muy encantador y agradable personal. Café es agradable y fresco y la comida era muy buena. patatas chaqueta era un poco sosa podía hacer con ensalada y porque no hay ropa smelf extractor de comida todo el día.

We use this café on a regular basis either for a breakfast meeting or to grab lunch to take out. The owners and Connor are always really happy and helpful. Food is fantastic, Highly recommend one of their breakfasts or pop in just for a coffee and chat in nice relaxed surroundings. Small but perfectly formed!

Been here on lots of occassions since new owners have taken over and given it a fantastic makeover. All food especially the breakfast is amazing! All meat and produce freshly sourced from local vendors! Great value for money! Coffee and choice cannot fault! Service is friendly and welcoming, staff cannot do enough for you. Think its safe to say i will be a regular!
