Myself and my partner had the most amazing meal set in a stunning location. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Food was amazing and will highly recommend the restaurant to family and friends . We will definitely be returning . Our waitress Alexandra was very helpful and pleasant and is a credit to your team.

Going on the strength of other reviews, we booked a table in the dog friendly area of The Crown. Having had and a 2 hour walk beforehand, a well deserved refuelling stop. Quite chilly in that area of the pub. Cheap lunch menu. Specials board more expensive. We had Scampi & fries, small battered cod & chips. Both came with peas. I had much higher expectations and was disappointed in the portion size(5 scampi pieces). Would consider giving it another try sometime, go in the evening and dine in the restaurant area. Pay the more expensive dinner prices, in the hope that the food would not be cooked from frozen and the portion sizes would be satisfying.

On holiday with family and celebrating husbands 80th birthday. We wanted to take our dog with us and wanted an afternoon tea. Hazel said she usually did Welsh teas but asked what we would like and she would do her best to accommodate us. She went above and beyond to provide us with one of the best afternoon teas we have ever had in a beautiful room with Chesterfield sofas and a lovely open fire, which our dog settled down in front of. The food was superb and she packed up the cakes we couldnât manage to finish. Thoroughly recommend to anyone. Thankyou Hazel for our lovely birthday celebration. Lynn and family.

Been to Anglesey many times, but this is the first time we have visited Penmon Priory and the lighthouse at the bottom of the toll road. The toll cost is ÂŁ3.50 for cars and this goes to the upkeep of the priory so happy to pay. The road is narrow in a couple of spots but drive slowly and it is fine. We called into the cafe to see if we could get an order to take away and ordered burgers with chips. Wasn't too sure what to expect but the burgers were gorgeous and huge. The chips were also nice, although the portions were large so we couldn't finish them. My mum had a tea and it was lovely, I tried it and even though I don't drink tea very often we ended up sharing it as it was so nice. Staff member that served me was friendly and efficient, and the order was ready quickly. I've seen a few reviews mention the price, and yes I would agree it is slightly overpriced for burgers and chips, but given the quality and location we don't mind paying and supporting a local business.

The place was full , festive decor , bouncing vibe . Kudos to the manager and staff who were run off their feet , we ordered some snacks âsee the photosâ they were flavoursome . A happy new year to the management and staff of the Driftwood - good luck for 2025

A soggy Sunday and we have never tried Chaplins before - the welcome we got was lovely and our dog was invited in too! The menu was vast and the food we had - tuna and cheese panini and a baguette were tasty, well filled and great value for money! We have always walked past this little gem thinking it only did ice creams and coffee but we will most definitely be eating here again. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and I'm pretty sure the coleslaw we had on our plate was home made - delicious! Thank you for making us feel at home and we will be back! ;-)

We have just returned from having Sunday Lunch at the Dinorben Arms, and I must say what an absolutely fantastic meal, my wife and I were extremely happy with our choice of where to dine, the food without exception was fabulous and extremely good value for money, if anyone is looking for a place to eat in the area we would recommend 100% well done to the Chef and all the staff for a thoroughly enjoyable experience, we will certainly visit again if we are in the area.

A few months ago (apologies on late review, daughter made my account recently), my luvly friend barbara went an said it was a gorjus place. When my sister and i went for a drink weeks after it took over 30 minutes for just a can and my sandwich was never to be seen i ended up running before the disrespectful lady chewed my ear off . upset after being taken to sit in a shed then no food, do not recommend. unless you have hours to sit in a shed.if so this is perfect for you luvlues đ€
