The best restaurants serving British food in Flintshire North Wales

Delicious food & cocktails and great service. We came here as a small group and everything was perfect. We all enjoyed our meals and the staff were lovely ☺️ I had the sweet & sour chicken as well as the peach and honey crumble. Absolutely loved both dishes and the pina colada was so tasty I had to get a second!

Just a fabulous place, food, service, and atmosphere excellent! Surroundings are outstanding and well worth the visit, we will be back. Menu options were excellent and reasonable. Book in advance!

I’m not one for leaving for leaving reviews but our Sunday roast is more than deserving of one. We had the rib of roast beef and it was the best roast we have ever eaten. It tasted like a home cooked roast. We had more than enough beef which we almost struggled to finish. The veg was cooked perfect and it was out on our table pretty quickly. Nice selection of drinks and very friendly staff. Price was surprisingly reasonable, we’ve paid alot more for a lot less quality. We will be back. Best roast in Wales.

I had a great experience here ! It was recommended to me for breakfast . It’s the first ‘cafe’ I’ve been to in a long time that insists you don’t sit down until the table has been cleaned ! Points for that ! Friendly staff ! Delicious, hot breakfast and accommodating - I could make my own. The washrooms are clean and accommodating for customers. Thank you !

Can't understand why so many 5 green ring reviews, our experience was 1 green ring at the most. Visited for a family meal, menu was very poor and totally different from the website. No fresh vegetables to choose, and it's chips and salad with everything. 3 of our 6 meals were undercooked, and all meals were served luke warm. Portion sizes seemed to be ok, which is the only positive, although most of your plates are chips. For busy weekend evening there was only one bar staff and one waitress, ridiculous and caused delays. Puddings weren't any better, Apple crumble was just a stodge of fatty greasy lumps of flour and pureed apple. Never going back here, much better pubs to spend your hard earned cash at around Flint and Mold.
