Very enjoyable Great atmosphere

We had a last minute break here for 4 nights, great spot handy for all North Wales, our apartment was modern clean and comfortable, perfect for 2 people, hope to visit again

It was closed because the lady has just had a baby

food was lovely.. took over an hour to get it on the table but lovely when it arrived..will be returning in the future

Great food, lovely relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. What more could you want, well worth a visit, will be recommending it to all my family and friends

This is a great place, friendly staff, warm cosy restaurant and comfortable bar, you need to book ahead during the season, but can take your chances on the off season, the welcome will still be warm and accommodating.

Nice room shame the bar and restaurant is now closed which closed in November and is now up for rent a shame really but nothing to complain about the room and cheap enough with the on suite

Decided to stop here for Roast dinner yesterday with the family. We where really impressed with the food and service. Good selection on the menu which included vegetarian options, also a specials board. I had the pea soup to start which was lovely and warming on a cold day, with hot fresh bread. My partner had the garlic mushrooms with garlic bread which he enjoyed. Both the pork and the beef was delicious, tender and plenty of it. The roasts came with a bowl of cauliflower cheese, vegetables, roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings and a gravy boat, all very tasty. Great for people with big appetites. The dining area is cosy and staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning even though it is a considerable drive from where we live, its worth it.

Had a lovely Sunday dinner for 20 people today so tasty . Fabulous the staff couldn't do enough for us with extra veg and gravy. Back room setting was very pretty with the fireplace, Thanks very much for helping to make my Nanna and Taids 50 anniversary so special.

Nos detuvimos aquí para almorzar con un amigo que vive cerca. A su llegada, parecía un lugar agradable, aunque al lado de una autovía (pero no sabía que una vez dentro). Como era domingo, Domingo almuerzo fue básicamente lo que ofrecían (pequeña arruga ya que buscábamos en menús que ofrecía mayor), pero nuestro hijo no le gusta eso y el personal trabajó para poner en algo para él, que era muy bonito. Desde mi perspectiva como vegetariano, me decepcionó el link como este lugar se anuncia como vegetarianos. Así, mientras todo el mundo estaba contento con sus comidas, no disfrutar de la mía. Así que mi puntuación no reflejan las críticas de otros, principalmente porque el menú no atiende a los vegetarianos de la misma manera que otros restaurantes haciendo una reclamación similar.

Stayed at the Llinegar inn for 3 weeks. Cannot fault the place at all. The staff are pleasant & friendly. Rooms are clean. The food is great. Just like being at home. Your made to feel very welcome and your looked after very well. I would recommend the Llinegar inn to anyone. Very happy with my stay

We stayed here while visiting friends nearby, mainly for the convenient location. Unexpectedly, we found a lovely little bar, restaurant and hotel. Our room was very nice, well furnished and warm. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Dinner and breakfast were both top notch; the evening menu was mainly pub favourites, nothing too exotic, but all very well executed. We both enjoyed the freshly cooked Welsh breakfasts the next morning. We'll happily stay here again next time we're in the area.

We booked through booking.com to stay here we had been walking that day and had a long drive so we were exhausted and ready to have a hot shower and eat! Arrived at the hotel to find it was closed!!! All in darkness, chairs up on tables there were a few other couples in the car park looking very confused. Tried phoning the number just ringing and then eventually going to voicemail...no one on site as husband went round front whilst I was knocking on back! Check in was from 2pm and it was 2.15pm we arrived we decided to find somewhere for a cuppa a bit further up the road and got in contact with booking.com they tried to get in touch with the inn...2 hours later still no reply by email or phone so they found us another place to stay! So unfortunately gets a 1 star from us! No apology for the stress caused (was summer hols so everywhere busy and already booked up) or reason as to why they were closed to this day!

We were looking for somewhere to have tea & struggling. Then w e came across this place. Clean tidy, welcoming & excellent food slightly pricey but v good. A must for any foodie.

Excellent little inn. Called for Sunday dinner. service was excellent.very good choice of roasts to choose from. Only waited about 5 mins for food to be served . 10/10. Will definitely be there again. Mid week meals available. Curry and Pint night. Etc.

Stayed at the Llinegar for the night after attending a 60th birthday party held there.We had a fantastic time.Our room was lovely,spotlessly clean,comfortable bed,what more can you want! We enjoyed a full,Welsh breakfast which was delicious.There was lots of choice for breakfast to suit all tastes. The staff were all friendly and welcoming.Wouldnt hesitate to recommend this hotel,first class!

Catered for 80 people for our anniversary celebration and I can't praise them enough. The staff were all fantastic and we were well looked after throughout. We had the family room 3 which was just right, breakfast great and we stayed for Sunday lunch which again had a great big thumbs up. Overall - highly recommended. Thankyou!

We came to the Llinegar Inn for a Fathers Day meal on our way back to Liverpool. The food was delicious we both had the pork Sunday Roast. Plenty of meat and gravy just what we like, in fact it is one of the best Sunday roasts we have had. Staff very attentive and friendly. Don't miss out when you are next in Prestatyn you seriously won't be disappointed and to top it all a free desert because it was Fathers Day. Thank you for a lovely meal Llinegar Inn

Spur of the moment decision but my friend & I really enjoyed the Spring Lamb. There is a choice of starters, mains (including Vegetarian) and choice of sweets - 2 courses for £11.50. Small restaurant area with a separate spacious enclosed courtyard option. Excellent! We will be back Paula

Stayed here for a night while away with work and it was great. It was 2 mins from where I was working which made the 6am start bearable! The girls behind the desk were very welcoming and helpful. The room was great and had everything I needed. Small issue with the wifi but that was sorted straight away. I had soup and the sticky beef salad and both were lovely. As I was away early they even knocked me up a packed lunch to take with me. I'll be back if I'm in the area.

We were visiting the area and called in for an early evening meal. The place was very tastefully decorated and furnished, the service was friendly and we would totally recommend the food. My husband had the fish which I taste and I had the curry - both meals were excellent. The only tip for improvement would be to have some flowers or plants in the courtyard area.

Stayed here for one night. The room was on the small side but was very comfortable. The food in the restaurant is exceptional value for money, especially on a Monday evening. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for the very pleasant staff. Highly recommended

Would definetly recommend this place for the delicious food that we had. Just found the place by accident, so glad we did, one of the nicest places to have a meal.

We ate as family. The food was good with reasonably sized portions, and represented good value for money. On a Sunday they only had Sunday lunch, but with a choice of different meats. Service was very good and friendly. Indoors it had a very clean spacious feel, with a separate restaurant area. The restaurant had a capacity for about 18 diners. A children's menu was available and highchairs for the younger ones.

Even if you only come to the Llinegar once ,make it a Monday ,great home cooked food not "ding ding " food ,the fish and chips are my favorite ,you would struggle to do food this good at this price anywhere ,

The food here is fantastic and value for money is exceptional. To have everything made from scratch and still have over flowing plates is unheard of anywhere else but here this is the norm! Fantastic hidden gem with welcoming bar and lounge area. Would highly recommend.

We eat here quite often as it's local to us but even if we had to drive we'd still visit, lovely pub and restaurant, homemade food, and always a warm welcome. The menu is simple but covers all choices, there's always specials and the prices are ridiculously low. The portions are huge and the food extremely tasty, what more could you ask for. I'd highly recommend.

Great place to stay. Warm welcome and stay. Rooms are very comfortable and recommend highly. Breakfast was more than enough and cooked to order, plus cereal if a full English is too much. We had the pleasure of live entertainment in the evening which was brilliant! Having driven up from London it felt like a gig in the smoke, only smaller venue :D

First visit here and have to say what a little gem of a place. Food excellent first class piping hot very reasonable prices and staff excellent. Thank you very much.

I have now been to The Llinegar about half a dozen times. The place is super clean and fresh. Monday night menu has a 2 for £10 section. This has got to be one of the best 2 for £10 meal menus anywhere in Wales with about 6 choices. Very tasty fish, chips and peas with the fish not quite fitting on the plate being a £5 meal !! Recently however I think they've changed it a little so will re-post when i've been again. Why anybody would want a dull carvery just down the road at the Bells of St Mary when this place is nearby is beyond me for explanantion.

On Saturday evening arranged to have a surprise 90th birthday celebration meal for my mother with a number of relatives she hadn’t seen for years. This was a good move coming here which was local to her and we had the restaurant area to ourselves. Atmosphere here great, in good surroundings/setting, with a court yard. Very friendly and helpful staff. I had mushroom stroganoff and the other various dishes .which all looked good. People enjoyed their meals and some had homemade chips too .The Llinegr grill/burger looked very good and full of flavour I understand ..The owner/chef at the end of the meal came out to greet my mother in the car park and wished her well-on her special birthday-much appreciated. Two of my cousins stayed overnight at the Inn’s B & B and their rooms they told me were very well appointed, service was excellent and the welsh breakfasts “top notch” .Recommended.

just ok, not bad not excellent, food was ordinary & service not the fastest. nothing else to say. just an average food service

we eat here quite a lot with it being close to where we live, i can honestly say we have never had a bad meal. I have just been tonight for a meal for my birthday and had lamb tagine it was really tasty. The staff are all friendly and welcoming, the sunday roasts are to die for and the portions are large.

We eat quite regularly at the Llinegar Restaurant and have never been disappointed with the food or the service. Went tonight and had a nice relaxing drink in the lounge bar before our meal. The food was excellent [2 of us had curry, 1 had the lasagne and 1 the steak and ale pie] A really good, tasty plate-full. All four meals and four drinks for less than £40, excellent value for money. The only disappointment was we didn't have room for pudding!

Me and my husband went to the Llinegar Inn Resturant while staying in Talacre 12/07/14, we were made to feel very welcome by all the staff who were amazing. The food was excellent my husband had mushrooms in Stilton sauce and the steak and ale pie which smelt wonderful, I had the chilli prawns followed by lasagna it was absolutely beautiful. We will certainly be returning to this delightful resturant again in the very near future and taking along some of our friends. I would highly recommend a visit to the Llinegar Inn. Thank you to all the friendly staff the service was excellent.

I have many meals here including Christmas Day and they have never failed! All home cooked and a variety of specials! Chef is very accommodating and will happily discuss your meal if you have dietary requirements.the meals are very generous.staff are friendly and restaurant is comfortable. There is a seating area outside in the courtyard which is a lovely setting. Well worth a try!

Called for Sunday lunch and had an excellent meal. Staff very welcoming and friendly. The food cooked to perfection and reasonably priced. Nice to sit in the courtyard on a sunny day. We will definitely be paying another visit, and others should give it a try.

Amazing food in a cozy restaurant.I had the steak and ale pie with chips and veg which was absolutely delicious. Homemade chunky chips were a treat to eat. My girlfriend had the burger and chips which she thoroughly enjoyed and would order this dish again without a doubt. If my partner hadn't had something off the grill menu then it would've been 2 for £10! However, It was excellent value for money with a wide range of drinks to choose from.We are hoping to go back on a Wednesday because it's £5.00 fish and chips.

Last night we all went out for a belated mother's day meal,yet again very good food ,from a strogonoff to eye pleasing burgers ,curry,s and pies,all plates empty,all happy diners ,this I hope is the review to start the ball rolling for what is a great place to eat ,.

Out with friends for a meal always looking for new places ,we went to the Llinegar ,2 couples £80 including drinks and coffee, that's for 3 courses, very comfortable venue warm and welcoming. I would recommend the welsh rabbet ,steak and ale pie and the chips are huge ,the only black mark was the lack of staff ,I had to go to the bar twice !
