Just enjoyed a lovely Saturday night meal at the Golf Club. It's a 10 min walk from the pier but worth it. Such a beautiful site. Tables are set up outside for when the weather's nice. New chef who's running it is fab. Great menu with a nice variety and changes according to whats fresh. I had the cod with mussels well presented and delicious. Definitely will return next time I want to try the scallops and the deep fried fish. Both look amazing.

Went to The Three Reasons with my sister for the festive set price Xmas menu and we had the most delicious meal. For starters we had homemade ham hough tart served with a crispy, fresh salad on the side...the pastry was beautiful. For mains we had strips of beef fillet with blackpudding, a mountain of super creamy mashed potatoes, lots of seasonal veg served with a rich tasty sauce...it was excellent. Am sorry to day we couldn't manage dessert as they sounded fab (I'm a big sticky toffee pudding fan). There was choices for everyone including vegetarians. The price for 2 courses is ยฃ27.50..exceptional value for money. Service was friendly and efficient, very helpful. Thanks for a lovely night.

After reading excellent reviews of this place we decided to try it for coffee and cake on the Saturday which were excellent so we booked for Sunday lunch. We both had an excellent cream of mushroom soup accompanied by a lovely roll. My wife had a superb macaroni cheese with hand cut chips and salad. I had a great lasagne and garlic bread. Excellent staff and the sea view whilst having lunch was great. Definitely a worthy of a return visit.

Went in, and girls ran off their feet, and had a sausage supper, and a half standard/half special fish supper. Girls were lovely, and the food was outstanding. Best chippy in Largs by a mile. It's a bit chaotic, as all good traditional Italian chippys should be. Wouldn't go anywhere else. 5 star from us.

Very disappointing. Busiest weekend in the Largs calendar and this poor pub/bar/restaurant was ill equipped to cope with the footfall. Been a couple of years since I have been in this facility, but very sad to see the demise of a lovely wee local. The place was filthy dirty, food would take over 1 hour and bar staff unable to manage queues at the bar. Hope the next time I visit this review will help them constructively to put the appropriate measure in place to restore the reputation of not just my opinion but the opinion of fellow customers.
