Excellent welcome and great massive langoustines and excellent soup. Roaring fire and lovely setting, highly recommended.

Reservamos un tour con WOW y recomendaron este lugar para el almuerzo. No se equivocaron. No solo obtuvimos una Gran Comida, sino que también se agregaron algunas golosinas extra. Cuando llegamos pudimos ver sus obras de arte y disfrutamos mucho del lugar. Gran lugar para ir cuando en Portree.

we came here quite hungry for lunch and we really enjoyed it. we got the veggie breakfast as well as the soup combo and everything was very tasty and was very fresh. definitely recommended.

We visited on a Sunday so the main shop was closed, but we had coffee, cake and a Salmon bagel from the caravan. Everything was delicious and the ladies running it all were very helpful and friendly.

Took a late last minute booking, attention to detail by our waitstaff was great. The young lady was always checking the glassware before serving people and very interactive. Was a please to eat here and would ho again. Sea Trout was excellent as were the scallops. Atmosphere was great, parking ample. Seats comfy and not squished in to table. Do not go to Rosedale Hotel in Portree very bad at everything.

We had a wonderful diner with perfect plates of local cheese, dried meat and bread served with a perfect wine. Thanks a lot for the perfect diner.

Nous avons dîné deux fois. Le service est parfait, courtois et chaleureux. La nourriture est de grande qualité. Les coquilles st Jacques sont énormes, locales et délicieuses. La seafood platter est à tomber! Et d'un bon rapport qualité prix. Et n'oubliez pas les desserts: glacf ou clamachan!!

We had beers and tried one of the to shares courses. It was good, fast and really nice and welcoming service . Wide selection of beers as well as other alcoholic drinks. The dessert was excellent

The staff was nice. The room was not worth the price. There is no fridge in the room or room service. Two of the three nights we stayed, the kitchen was closed. We left a day early and expressed it was because there was not enough for us to eat or do in the area but we're still charged for the last day which is fine but disappointing.

Instead of dropping guests off here, then grabbing a sandwich at the Spar, I was invited to lunch. Lovely staff members, a good menu of various sumptuous choices. The Cullen Skink and open sandwich (chicken salad) was extremely good. Recommended, and hopefully, I'll be asked to join my guests again. Until next time....

First trip to the Skye. Beautiful views. There’s only four tables with the window view, so ask for it when you book. We had the specials for the week - scallops and T-bone steak. Both were wonderful. Service was great. Overall a wonderful dining experience. Thanks to Chris and team including Jack who drove us back to our hotel.

Beautiful guest house with everything you need!! It’s so quiet and peaceful, there are lovely walks round about and the hostess is just lovely! Would stay here again!!

Stayed here for two nights and it was wonderful. From the moment we arrived (and even before that via email) Sheila was on hand to give us a warm welcome and make sure we had the best time. After Sheila showed us to our lovely rooms and we unpacked, we were in the lounge for some cake and cocktail. This place makes the best Old Fashioned I have ever had and Sheila was great craic while I enjoyed them. We ate in the restaurant on the first night and did the five course tasting menu. It was fantastic and definitely showcased the best that Skye has to offer in terms of quality food. The second night we ate at the Kitchen Table (see photos) and did the wine flight too. The food and the staff were awesome and I would recommend anyone who is visiting to eat this way. You get the opportunity to interact with the staff, wander around the kitchen, and speak about what’s being made, where it sourced, and how they do it. It was a memorable weekend for all the right reasons and I would happily drive the 5.5 hours to Colbost again just for another Old Fashioned, even though the Head Bartender emailed me the recipe :-) This is a 5 star experience: food, location, staff, rooms, and we will be back soon.
