Had a fantastic value for money afternoon tea. Small tasty soup, selection of sandwiches, sausage rolls, scones with jam and cream and various cakes and treats. Big thank you to Amy who served us, a credit to the company and Chris who took over when she finished her shift. Amy was such a pleasant, attentive and obliging staff member who made us feel so welcome from arrival which helped make our exoerience so special Thank you

Sadly this wasn’t a good experience. I felt the restaurant was dirty. Food on the floor and the radiator next to where I was sat was disgusting. Unfortunately I didn’t enjoy my tuna melt either. It had very little filling and it had an oily taste. We were almost £39 for 2 soft drinks, 2 sandwiches and 2 cakes. Very expensive when compared to other places in the area. I also found the service poor. This has been mentioned by a few people in reviews so it seems there is a problem to be addressed.

Went for some food today after not being to the lynnhust in quite sometime. Checked out the menu online seemed good. When we arrived the menu had changed and was very disappointing as I didn't really like much on the menu and had I of known I would have went somewhere with better options. On a possitve not the waiter today Cameron was amazing and is a credit to the company.

Visited Sunday lunchtime. The restaurant looked nice. The selection on the menu looked ok but not great. Decided to go for what you would think was a safe bet in fish and chips. Service was pretty slow. When it arrived, it was the worst fish and chips I’ve ever had. Overdone frozen fries, a thimble of pea paste, thin over done piece of fish and half a lime! The other people in our party enjoyed their food and not keen to make a fuss, I endured the fish alone. I went to pay the bill and explained that everyone else was pretty happy but my meal was dreadful and overdone. The plates had been cleared when I returned from the bathroom but at £14 I thought this was worth mentioning! I was told by the manager, ‘well if I can’t see it I don’t know there’s something wrong’ I explained it had been cleared by staff. I enquired why I was given a lime disguised as a lemon for the fish and told that was standard. Manager refused to take it off the bill. I was treating my parents to lunch. They had initially quite liked the look of the place and suggested it would be a nice place to host their 50th wedding celebration. After the shocking customer service on my meal, they decided against that plan. We won’t be back.

We stopped here for a late lunch on a Saturday and was warmly greeted. The restaurant area was not busy and we were offered to choose any table we wanted, so we choose the table by the windows which gave space for our dog. The waitress was polite, friendly and provided a fantastic service throughout our lunch. Some of us had the Lentil and bacon soup which was absolutely fabulous. The main courses were Chicken Panini, Chicken in garlic sauce, Cajun Chicken and a Mediterranean tart, all served with salad and chips.

My husband and I were visiting the antique centre and popped in to the restaurant for lunch, as usual. My husband always has a main meal and a cake and I usually just have their lentil soup, which is absolutely delicious and a cake. Today I decided to have my soup followed by sponge and custard.- I actually have had the sponge and custard before and thoroughly enjoyed it, however the last time I had a terrible time actually trying to get them to bring it to my table (my husband's cake had been demolished a while before I had to remind them - 3 times). Today I decided to risk having it again and the same thing happened. They actually denied that I had even ordered it. My husband spoke to the manager and he said he would 'sort it out'. Eventually, after waiting a completely unacceptable time, an assistant came and placed it, none too gently, on the table. We were expecting at least an apology from the manager but none came. On the way out we signalled for the manager to come and speak to us, which he did. However he acted as if he didn't know what we were talking about, even though he had spoken to my husband earlier. We voiced our displeasure of the poor service and all he said was "I'll pass this on to the staff". We won't be eating at the restaurant again due to the 2 incidents with the sponge and custard and the attitude of the manager
