We sometimes stop here when we’re out cycling as the food is good, friendly staff, nice environment and great value for money. Loads to choose from on the menu including some lovely vegetarian options. I had the cheese burger with side salad that had a delicious dressing over it - they also sell the dressing in small bottles.

I came into your cafe today with my 2 grown up granddaughters and great granddaughter wee ordered 2 coffees water and pot tea also rolls and fillings ,the order arrived 3 coffees pot tea which was cold, glass water ... fine... on looking at one of the cups of coffee the cup was dirty it had hardened in coffee runs down the side obviously used by someone else earlier this is not acceptable especially in these times wee are all going through the staff didnt seem very happy at their work they kept coming to the table and wee felt they wanted us to leave while my great granddaughter was still eating ,is this the way your staff are trained ? To have customers out as soon as possible a very uncomfortable visit , it isn’t that the place was busy at all plenty empty seats . Wee will not visit these premises again wee will take our custom elsewhere

Saw this place when we were out cycling and decided to stop for lunch and glad we did! Friendly staff, good menu with loads to choose from with something to suit all tastes. We sat outside as the weather was nice. We ordered a panini and soft drink each, food was well presented and delicious, however, the glasses for the drinks weren’t as clean as they could be. With that said we’d still return as the staff were great and the food was good.

Was here a couple of months ago for coffee and cake with my friend, after we had ordered and we were kind of half way through our order, we started to feel like they wanted us to leave, the staff were hovering and kept passing the table looking at us, now I have to point out, IT WAS NOT BUSY, we tried to ignore this but rather than stay and have another coffee we left and will never go back. We felt very uncomfortable and that's not how any customer should feel. Bad service and experience

I visited your cafe today with my kids and the glass my daughter was given to drink out of was completely filthy. There was baked on food stuck to it and it was covered in fingerprints. We asked for another one which was just as dirty. The glass my son was given was also really dirty and I told him just to drink directly out of the can as it would be cleaner. The food and service was really good but it worries me how clean it is elsewhere if that’s what the crockery is like so don’t think I would return. I work in hospitality myself and in the current climate, I know how extra specially important hygiene and cleanliness is at the moment so am really surprised that clearly dirty glasses are being used. The waitress must have been able to see they weren’t clean and especially after asking for a new glass surely she should have double checked the replacement?!

My partner and I used a Groupon voucher and had the breakfast followed by crepes instead of the lunch menu and they were very understanding about it. The breakfasts were large, well cooked, nicely presented and very tasty (especially the potato scones). The crepes were thin and delicious. We could have had various savoury fillings but we both went for sweet. I had Nutella and marshmallows which went all soft and melted - gorgeous. My partner had strawberries and ice cream - also delicious. Their coffee and tea selection was very good too. Very reasonable prices (probably as they have lots of competition nearby). The location is good, right on the Main Street, opposite a little park/garden with broad, manicured pavements so they have outdoor south facing tables for sunny weather. Indoors is comfortable and attractive. Toilet is not great, there is only 1 and you have to squeeze past the pantry and dishwasher to get to it.

I gave Bistro 75 a five star review back in 2016 and would now like to upgrade that to a six if I could! Me pareció que los precios estaban bien y porque pagué la factura en el mostrador me olvidé de dejar una propina - lo siento!

I was in Kirky for a few errands and decided to pop in for a quick bite to eat as never been in here before. The server was friendly and bright. I decided just to have a bowl of soup and bread as I was assured it was home made. It was good enough but not great and I would question if it was home made from scratch. I didnt like the way the cutlery is on the table, in a container to help yourself - who has been touching and playing with it before you sat down - not a good idea! The staff seem keen as mustard but there was just something missing I couldnt put my finger on....thought a bit pricey for what I had and therefore next time will try somewhere else....

Went in for a takeaway snack before work having been uninspired by the rest of the places in kirky. The sign in the window said toasties from £1.65 so i went in and ordered. Food was ready in no time and i left, toastie was excellent btw. The main reason I'm reviewing is because when i paid, some cards fell out of my wallet, I duly picked them up thanked the staff and left. Unknown to me my driving license had fallen out as well and until today had no idea I didn't have it. I'd like to thank the staff for taking the time and expense of a stamp to send it back to me, i will definitely be back to eat and to thank them in person.

I have eaten here three times over the summer most recently on Saturday 3 October 2015.On the first and last occasions I had the afternoon coffee deal for £3.95, combining a cappuccino with a slice of the moist and tasty date slice and adding a granola bar the first time and a flapjack the second time; total cost £6.25. I could have had a slice of one of the tempting cakes which essentially would have made the coffee more or less "free" but I managed to resist. The granola bar might have been juicier with more dried fruits and I thought the flapjack was a bit crumbly and tasteless, lacking the normal sultanas, raisins or other fruit. On 28 August 2015 I had lunch with two friends. We all had the tomato and basil soup and cheese and tomato paninis on the lunch soup and sandwich deal, excellent value at £4.95. There was a bit of confusion over what type of sandwiches were available and some debate about whether we could have the soup on its own to start but the owner quickly resolved the situation. Other than that minor blip, service has been fast and friendly.I think this place suffers from the fact that the outside tables are on a narrow bit of the pavement next to the main street whereas D’nisi across the corner has a large expanse of pavement so the tables are away from the road. (They might want to consider putting the outside tables in the side street which would clear the frontage and make it easier to read the menus in the window.) However, the cappuccino is stronger in Food75 because they do a double shot as standard and the service is far better. It is also more spacious inside with 20 tables all close to the counter for service whereas D’nisi is very crowded and a lot of the inside tables are in the back away from the service area. The free wifi is a bonus.

Have been to Food 75 about five times and every time I hope it will improve. On the plus side the staff are lovely, friendly and arrive at the table at just the right time. The coffee blend is good - but I have yet to get what I order first time! Today: Americano with cold milk on the side and a cappuccino. We got hot milk and latte - and that has happened every time we've been in.The food order is regularly not quite right - including one occasion when the egg mayo sandwich was a sandwich with a hard boiled egg chopped up in it! (No mayo at all!), today a toasty turned up not toasted and at another table tuna was served instead of chicken.I really want to like this place much more because the atmosphere and the people are nice - but unfortunately I don't think we'll be heading back. Sorry.

I popped in here for lunch one day on the off chance and was pleased by the selection on offer and what I received. My Latte was a little too hot to drink when it arrived at first - but this is no unique problem - but it was a good cup of coffee once it had cooled enough for me. I ordered a Turkey, Cranberry and Brie pannini which was very nice - The slice of carrot cake I had afterwards was really lovely! However, I found the order/pay mechanism of the café to be a little confusing - I couldn't quite decide if I was doing restaurant, café or deli etiquette which I found a little off-putting. Overall though, I'd be happy to go back.

I have visited here twice now and both times I have come completely dissatisfied with the service. The first time I visited, the waitress messed up my change and it resulted in me making a £1 profit from the purchase of my panini! The second visit, I paid by card. The total was £5.10. When I went to visit the bank later on that day, my account had £55.10 taken from it. The staff surely need to up their game, it may have been a typo on the machine but it set me back £50 for a couple of days causing me much stress. Wouldn't rush back anytime soon whatsoever.

Went with my boyfriend for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Ordered 2 hot drinks and 2 full breakfasts. The hot drinks came shortly after but we waited over an hour and still no sign of the breakfasts. We then politely asked how long they’d be as we had something else on afterwards and the staff had to check and came back to say there was an issue with the till processing the order. We were sat right next to the kitchen door and many other customers who came in after us and ordered the same were served within 10/15 minutes. It’s difficult to understand why this was not picked up by the staff before having to ask. By the time we had raised the issue we didn’t have time to wait on them restarting our order so asked for the bill for the hot drinks. At this stage I would have expected at least a good will gesture for the hassle but no they still charged us fully for the drinks and we left. Very poor customer service.
