Had a couple of beers in here. Lovely place - very traditional with a real fireplace. Great choice of beers.

very friendly staff, clean and tidy very enjoyabke

Enjoying a nice lunch with many friends, soup was delicious,then main course was served. Simple dish of steak frites! Steak was cold! Not luke warm but cold! I asked waitress if it could be heated up. Waitress took away and returned 1 minute later and yes, steak was still cold. I ate my now tepid chips ( very small portion ) and stayed quiet for rest of meal. I won't be back. I suspect if you get 50% off the price then expect 50% quality.

A la llegada er fueron sentados en nuestra mesa pre-reservada por un amable miembro del equipo. Todo bajó colina abajo desde allí, otro miembro del personal que nos atendió no logró una sonrisa durante la duración de nuestra visita, a pesar de la comida que es de excelente calidad y muy bien presentado, no apreciamos que nos trajeron nuestros postres incluso antes de la mitad de comer nuestro curso anterior. El servicio realmente decepcionó al establecimiento. Además, debe tenerse en cuenta que el hecho de que un cargo opcional de servicio del 10% está incluido en su factura final, y el personal después del pago, todavía pidió que revisara la máquina de tarjetas para agregar propina adicional para complementar el cargo de servicio por el servicio mínimo que no recibimos! No regresaremos.

Decent pub, staff re Food /drink were sound but poor service re advertising watching Football whilst I ate. Like i say, Staff I thought up to a point were great! Can’t question their service with Food/Drink. But I attended with my family, the Football was on which was the reason why I came to that pub. There was an area designated for the Football and the rest of the pub for the rugby which is fine. I was enjoying watching the game with my Beer. Then with 75 mins to go I was told by head barman game is going off as the rugby was coming on even though rest of the pub was showing the rugby and the rugby game wasn’t even starting for another 25 minutes. Pretty despicable behaviour and certainly won’t be back. Sh*te behaviour

Of you want to watch scottish football on a Wednesday night in a Scottish bar don't go the amber rose As me and my friends found out last night. English football has priority.

Everything was good, the price was right, but I have had better fish & chips, the sauce and potatoes were very good, the tomato soup and the garlic bread with cheese were good, nothing more, but the fish was not of great quality, and it showed. Very friendly waitresses
