My partner and I were looking for a place to celebrate our engagement and found the Cannonball while walking around town. The food and drinks here were absolutely amazing! The cod was easily one of the best things I have ever had in my life. Safia and everyone else here were incredibly attentive and kind. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience!

Had a family Sunday dinner today and it was lovely. Good service and food. Definitely worth a visit.

Stayed at the premier inn for a couple of nights and used the brewers Fayre for dinner. On both occasions, I left without receiving the pudding which I ordered and paid for. The first night, I got a rude reply from the waitress after waiting half an hour after finishing the main, only to get a rude reply. The second night, I asked for the pudding to be provided at the same time as the main, it didn’t arrive, asked a waiter and nothing happened, left after waiting a further thirty minutes. Don’t go here as you will not receive the items you have ordered and paid for.

Très bon petit déjeuner écossais. Assez copieux. Remplissage gratuit du thé ce qui est appréciable le matin. L’établissement est très propre et cosy. Le personnel est très attentionné et de bon conseil. Le haggis est goûteux et épicé.

Encantador y peculiar salón de té. Igual que estar en la habitación delantera de tu abuela y con pasteles encantadores. Me alegro de que elegimos parar aquí para un breve descanso.

The restaurant was amazing and the service was great and pleasant. I ordered scotch steak pie and it was so tender and delicious. The reason i put grade 4 was that we had to wait for food 50 min

An 11/10 restaurant. What a great experience we had in Kyloe! As soon as we were seated, we were given complimentary freshly baked focaccia and bread (both so yummy!). Our waiter (George) then came to the table and showed us the different cut of meat they were offering that night. George was so knowledgeable, answered all our questions, and gave us advice on what to choose based on our taste. We were akso given the option of choosing the knife we wanted for our steak (this was so new to me. It was actually quite cool). We had to wait a bit for the food, but it was so worth the wait! We ordered the 800g Porterhouse, the blooming onion, creamed spinach served inside a Yorkshire pudding, and 2 truffle and parmesan fries. The steak was so tender, juicy, full of flavour, I was in heaven! The sides were all amazing, but the blooming onion stole the scene, really! It was so crunchy, the bacon and the jam went so well with it. When we asked for the bill, we were given complimentary mini desserts, which were also very much delicious. We were very much surprised when we were told that the bill had been discounted due to the long wait to get the food, we were in shock! It was such a kind gesture, displaying an amazing service and customer care. As it's now time for us to get back home, I can honestly say that Kyloe is now one of our favourite restaurants ever! A particular thank you goes to our waiter George for making the whole experience incredible for us.

It was quite a great discovery. A great menu, the staff was quite nice and we ate well. The beer was quite disappointing, but maybe we didn't try a good one. There are vegetarian/vegan options. For the tourists, just note that the kitchen closes quite "early," so if you're used to eating near 8/9PM, it's better to go there around 7PM.

No puede faltar esta encantadora cafetería privada, pasteles y pasteles preciosos y aunque no tuvimos nada salado también se veían deliciosos. Buen café fuerte y el personal era genial. Estábamos conociendo a una de nuestras nietas adolescentes y habíamos llegado temprano y ella se retrasó, pero acomodaron esto con buena gracia, ya que es pequeño y yo era consciente de esto. Recomiendo encarecidamente si estás en la zona, pero cierra a las 4 pm, así que no lo dejes demasiado tarde en el día.
