Stopped in here on the way home from a short break. Having never been before, we stopped when we entered through the main door and stood waiting for the tattooed girl with the white T-shirt to finish typing before enquiring about food. She completely ignored us and when she eventually turned her head -I said hello - and she turned back to what she was doing and totally ignored us. We then went left into the bar and took our own seats. Food was nice, place was nice but that girl really ruined it for us. Don’t think I’ve ever seen someone so miserable in their job. Sadly won’t be returning and giving money to a place in which staff make you feel unwelcome.

Visited with my family last night and had a beautiful meal. As always the food was gorgeous and service was fabulous. Suzy that served us was very nice and helpful and such a gem with my children too. Nothing was a problem to her or the other staff. It was busy when we were in, good to see & we all had a lovely evening. We will be back soon! As always a great night out and fab food! Thank you!

Went for a meal to celebrate my son’s 16th birthday. On arrival we were shown to our seats. We gave our drinks order and we waited about 20mins before they were brought to the table we then sat and waited for a further 1.5hrs.. when my partner went to enquire what was happening with our food he was told that they had just started making our dinner. We decided to pay for the drinks and leave. The drinks were expensive enough with a tin of irn bru was £3.65! Won’t be back unfortunately

Had an amazing lunch today at the anchor. There were 7 of us, 6 adults and 1 child. Our waitress, Laura, couldn't have been more accommodating. We had a few requests to change or modify a couple of the dishes and on top of checking everything with the kitchen, she assured us that if they had the ingredients, it was no problem at all. When the food came it was delicious and exactly what we'd asked for. The menu has a fantastic selection from pub grub to customized curries. The kids menu was great too. A really perfect lunch, wonderful service, Laura chatted to us and made us feel very comfortable. Great food and the drinks were good too. At our table we were a mix of English, Irish, Scottish and New York and everyone loved everything. Definitely recommend!!

Visited Louie Browns twice recently - once for a large group family birthday meal and again today for lunch. On both occasions we were served by Mark who welcomed us warmly, was attentive and provided great service. We couldn’t fault his service especially with a few specific food requirements - he made sure everyone’s meal was just as we asked, All of the food was delicious and served piping hot. In our party everyone enjoyed their meals - Burger, Fish and Chips, Cajun Chicken Pasta and Steaks, The restaurant always have a lovely atmosphere,

What a beautiful place to stop and rest to nourish the body and soul! Stopped in here for a coffee and cake and it was lovely. The staff were friendly, attentive and happy to chat with you. Service was great and unhurried. Coffees were very nice and the Paradise Cake 👍🏻👍🏻. Highly recommend it and yes, I’ll be back!!

Gives off hostel vibes and the main room was really busy. Staff were quirky and got a couple of orders wrong but friendly I guess, food was hit and miss, but overall I though it was a decent offering. Apparently Scotlands most haunted pub so maybe thats why its the way it is. Worth going just to say you've been

We stayed at the Loch Lomond Arms to celebrate our 3 year wedding anniversary, and it was amazing. Our room was upgraded and we received complimentary Prosecco and dessert when we dined in the restaurant. The service we received from the staff was outstanding, we were made to feel very welcome. This along with the wonderful standard of rooms and meals made our trip feel very special. Beautiful location with lots to see and do - Couldn’t recommend highly enough

As a frequent visitor I feel obliged to leave a review. The restaurant is under new management. Friendly, professional and sadly at the moment in winter - quiet. Food is delicious and great value for money. With the staff only too courteous, we always enjoy a run up to the Slanj for lunch and cakes. I can’t comment on alcohol offering as I’m driving, but the coffees are lovely.

We decided to go for a walk up in Aberfoyle and went here for some lunch. We were warmly welcomed, and our order was taken promptly. Food was delicious (burger and macaroni) Staff were fantastic. Only 2 working when every table was full. They did great! They welcomed our wee soggy wet dog in (even though he barked.. sorry about that!) Would definitely recommend and come back. This is a wee homely pubgrub place and it's right up our street.

No longer a Brewers Fayre, it is now a Thyme ran by Premier inn. Arrived just in time for food on my first night, staff accepted my order despite it being past kitchen time. At hotel reception I was greeted by Jillian who booked me in very promptly so as I could get something to eat. On arrival in the pub , Steph was very friendly and welcoming. Took my order and sorted a drink for me, kitchen staff got my food out to me promptly as I was at the end of a very hard day. Brilliant staff and a lovely pub.

Lovely cosy and warm room with a double and a single bed!! Bathroom was great and even had a bath but was really cold though with no heater. There was a good selection of tea and coffee provided, however the milk was very out of date. Some of it was cheese!! Would maybe be better with a small jug of fresh milk.

Scallops were absolutely delicious and the beef and ale pie was melt in the mouth. A great selections of wines and a lovely stop for dinner after a long day visiting distilleries. Staff were attentive, surprised just how busy it was for a Monday evening.
