Booked 2 nights stay at this hotel for my partners birthday treat so we could explore the surrounding area. Arrived around 5pm after a long drive and was pleasantly surprised by how big the place was and how nice it looked at night, with the outside lights/veranda lit up. As soon as we got inside, the service and welcome that we received was lovely. After a quick tour of the room we headed downstairs for dinner, where again the service was great and the food was surprising for such a small hotel - it was amazing. Add to this that the chef quickly came out with homemade fresh out of the oven bread rolls....the smell was brilliant. The guy that looked after the front of house/served us breakfast was very good and very professional. Overall, our stay exceeded expectations and to top it off, it was dog friendly and had a lovely wee kids park in the garden. The only negative for me is that the bathroom radiator didn't work, so it was a little chilly - but things break, and I won't hold it against the hotel as these things happen and everything else in our room was lovely. Will return next year

They had amazing food. We had to stand in line, but it was worth it. The Cornish pasty was so flavorful. The pastry dough itself was so divine. We wanted to devour 10 of them. We got some bread to go and look forward to eating it in the morning.

Excellent! We stayed one night in a lovely spacious and comfortable room. The bathroom was huge and everything was spotless. Nothing was too much bother for the staff and they were all very friendly. Although they initially got my breakfast order wrong it was delicious

We stopped off at the Queensview for lunch and a look at the stunning view, on our way up to Inverness. The parking was expensive but what can you do? We both had the carrot and coriander soup, which turned out to be 90% pepper, rendering it inedible. The venison sandwich was pretty good though. We ordered some cakes and coffees to go, and we got our coffees quite promptly. But our cakes took a while, and the staff used their hands, rather than the tongs beside the cakes, to package them. There wasn’t much coffee and it was a little bitter. The cakes were nice, but a little expensive. The staff could’ve been a bit more friendly to be honest, as we were standing around waiting for our cakes for a while.

We took our hound family for dinner and received a warm welcome. It was a semi-formal environment and delicious food. They also had a kids menu (~£7.50 for kids mains). Booking is essential and they're not open every evening. Would definitely visit again. Menu photos attached, although I believe that the menu does change quite regularly.

We stayed in Moulin for the week and went here a couple of times. Lovely to sit outside in the sun with a beer, good umbrellas in case it rains too! Food quite good, Cullen skink excellent, veggie haggis available and some vegan options. Good beer made at brewery over the road. Nice atmosphere inside- proper country pub.

We had afternoon tea. You get two separate tea choices per person, which is nice. The detox tea was lovely. You then choose two of the cold sandwich types which will then be presented with a sausage roll and a quiche. The quiche was absolutely delicious. The sausage roll was fine. The other cold sandwiches were fine. The desserts were plentiful and included Victoria sponge, jammy dodger, carrot cake, Biscoff bonbon, Rocky Road, and some fruit. The scones were super hot and delicious with clotted cream and strawberry jam. I wish there was a little bit more options with the sandwich choices, something like a cheese and cucumber would be lovely. The portions were massive. The soup of the day was lovely. The single fruit scone of the normal size was also massive but a little on the dense side. The desserts were quite sweet. Even with removing some of the icing. You pay at the front counter. Service was pretty good. The first waitress was especially kind and nice.

Hey it’s a pub selling drinks and food. However portions were very good no,huge, steak and ale pie with veg and chips, well I could not finish it,Really big portion.Wife had scampi and fries, we counted 12 pieces of scampi on plates, virtually a whole bag from supermarket. She had afewfries but bailed out due to portion size, great atmosphere in bar and eating place.
