The website advertises all day food which is not the case - kitchen closes between 2 and 5. No matter we had English tapas instead, crisps! Super friendly staff - bet it’s a very cosy spot on a winter’s evening with its wood burning stove. We would make a point of going again. Barman was playing some brilliant music -electric folk - he was very knowledgeable. Sorry I forgot to ask your name but thank you for educating me about Runrig!

Absolutely wonderful people who run the hotel and a beautifully homely atmosphere along with decor! Supper clean and very well presented rooms along with immaculate bedding etc. The food at this place was top notch and Chef Cara’s creations were divine! It’s the sort of food you’d expect in an over priced restaurant somewhere swankey, the presentation was beautiful and the flavours were fantastic and each plate was empty every time! We could of gone out and tried other places to eat but when the food was that great you really don’t need to! So thank you for the delicious meals guys! It is a must if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, harbour walks and the bay there are soul juice! 2 people on the beach over the hour I was there with the dog. Definitely returning in the not too distant future.

Quirky and full of history! This meal was fabulous and it was a lovely place to have a special family meal. The food was clearly homemade, fresh, and local produce used. We can recommend the seafood hot platter- wow!! Situated in a beautiful old house at the far side of the harbour with fabulous views over the loch. Take some time to read the history of the house, and the documents available in the entrance hall. Very interesting!

Many thanks to Mark who continues to be an outstanding member of the team here Nothing too much trouble Courteous professional and without doubt the most proficient staff member here Others seem switched off at times and not sure of products they are selling Perhaps Mark could do some training with them

Very convenient walk from the marina and we came here 3 times over the course of a week or so, whilst sailing from Oban. Nothing fancy, but good piping hot food in the upper bar. Downstairs on a Thursday, local bands play which are very popular. Met loads of tourists and had some very interesting conversations!

Ordered two chicken ceasar salads one with, one without parmesan. Service took over 20 minutes to serve meals. Both salads were served with parmesan. Had to request my wife's salad to be changed to what was ordered. It took 15 minutes to return with replacement. Not a good customer expierience when all that was ordered was salads.

Stayed two nights on the holiday park in our caravan. We ate at the restaurant both nights and loved the food, the hospitality and the general welcome of the bar and staff. Dale as hostess is fantastic and goes the extra length to look after customers. The food was great - good selection, well cooked and presented. Will def be back in the caravan and in the restaurant/bar for food and drinks

Charming hotel with great views. Emma who looked after the hotel was helpful and friendly . The food was good and prepared to order. The hotel was quiet due to it being February re tourists. No locals came into the bar which is a pity as it’s always nice to hear from people who actually live there so this should be encouraged somehow. Decor could do with upgrading .
