Popped up in for soup and a sandwich after a trip to St Cyrus beach. Wish we'd discovered this gem sooner! Love the old railway and the cafe itself is full of character. Loved the warm welcome, friendly quick service, good food and wander around the station afterwards. Thank you!

Best hospital café in Scotland, home made soups and puddings are excellent, staff are very welcoming and professional, makes the experience of going for appointments a little more bearable.

We went for lunch and decided on hot roast pork with mashed potatoes and veg . When it came it was 2 thin pork chops that needed cooked longer . Lumpy mashed dry potatoes , 4 slices of carrots and a lot of peas . Usually we enjoy our lunch here to be fair but it let us down today . We did not complain but paid £24 for it . Maybe we should have .

Excellent lounge bar which apart from having some unusual beers/Cider also offers an excellent food menu. The food is really good, and both the Steak pie and haddock are highly recommended.

Visited here on a Saturday afternoon. I was really surprised nobody else was in the resteraunt. Service was okay, did nothing wrong but didn't really go out of their way. Food was pretty good but a little overpriced. It was an okay visit, however three stars is probably an accurate review

As grandparents we visited the Magical winter nights woodland trail with our family paying £15 each for six adults and 3 children aged 2, 3 and 5, a total of £135. Whilst we enjoyed the lights and displays round the trail, the evening was spoilt for us near the end when we encountered the fire pit area selling standard sized cups of hot chocolate for £4 and three marshmallows on a stick, also £4. What a rip off - £24 on top of the entrance price to buy hot chocolate and marshmallows for the kids. The youngsters were unable to finish the hot chocolate, and £4 for 3 marshmallows is just ridiculous. All in all, a very expensive experience.

Stopped for breakfast on the way to Aberdeen. Only 8 people in the cafe when I arrived, but breakfast still took forever to arrive. At least in will be freshly cooked I thought. Beans cold. Toast burnt. Haggis & bacon dried out. Egg was ok. First and last time for me.

Absolutely dreadful. Avoid at all costs. Order placed for delivery and confirmation of an 18.50pm delivery, it's now 20.36 and still no sign despite several calls where promises of "it'll be there any minute". Granted its a Sat eve but lies don't keep my business. First and last order. As for quality... if I believe what I was told about the driver leaving about 8pm, it will be bloody freezing and unedible. Maybe not a bad thing having read the other reviews. Owner refused to refund or cancel as "driver already left"/ said to writr in box next time that they promised a discount. Def won't be ordering again!

El gerente es muy antipático me supera cómo consigues un trabajo en servicio al cliente con esta actitud grosera. Decidimos no esperar hasta que estuviera abierto en 10 minutos.

Only speak as I find,I am a truck driver and I first visited this place 44 years ago.I appreciate being able to have a wash and shave and some good food. The lorry park does look as tho it hasn't changed in a long time but then again you are just gonna park up put your tacho on break and that's it. I stopped for lunch I had macaroni cheese with chips, followed by xmas cake and a large cup of coffee. The food prep area was nice and clean with piping hot food and the young lady that served up the food was friendly and smiled.I can only say I was pleased that after 44 years it's still there providing a food and a stopover for truckers. I used to Park up here when I drove for Abbeyhill Vehicle services Yeovil also when I worked for Richard Lawson Kirriemuir. After all this time now doing weekend work on Containers. Well Done the Broken Bones keep up the good work
