The best restaurants serving British food in Central Scotland

Visited twice during our stay in nearby Dunkeld. Luvly friendly welcome from the laydees behind the counter, who delivered our coffee's to us outside, as we sat in the sunshine, enjoying our surroundings. We enjoyed sausage rolls, and delicious carrott cake, Cafe very popular with locals, and dog walkers, thoroughly enjoyed our visits, also has a wee Post Office inside, well worth a visit. :) :)

First class. Collected and took back to our holiday let. Thoroughly enjoyed. I know this van has been here for years, but STILL never disappoints!

We were staying at Gleneagles and made the mistake of not booking into a restaurant on our first night so found this place to eat. The food was beautiful I had beetroot and goats cheese starter and was very impressed all delicious… My only niggle was the drinks were quite slow in arriving but don’t let that put you off..

Scottish hospitality at its best! We didn’t realise they opened at 10am and had turned up for a coffee at 9:30. No problem, we were told the coffee machine was on and they welcomed us in. Great coffee and empire biscuits to die for! Would highly recommend.

Food was ok but feels like you eating in a church hall.. bar ok but tiny and no space and full of dogs at the time People blocking the doors in and out

Food was really good! Not bad priced! Takes a wee bit for delivery but we'll worth the wait.

Fantastic chippie and lovely people I love a good Chips and curry sauce and I must say the curry sauce here is the best I've ever tasted, I wish they sold there curry sauce in jars, it's that good

Stunning, Victorian, comfy warm and friendly, simply 10 of 10. Great standard choices of beers/lagers, good whisky's, just try ignore the 70s music

Went here for Sunday lunch and can honestly say was worst ever. The chicken was rubbery, the vegetables were all obviously frozen, gravy was like jelly , the roast potatoes and parsnips a poor effort - nothing like real thing. It was all tasteless & bland. Very disappointing and complete waste of money. Will definitely not be back nor will we recommend.

Absolutely fantastic sandwiches, the Caprese was by far the best I’ve ever eaten. They bake their own bread and it is outstanding. Family run with a lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and just a great vibe. I’d recommend their pastries also. Best cafe in Dunfermline.

This cafe has now closed. However, as the station buildings are now run by volunteers, the Gallery or Forth Bridge Heritage Centre is open all day. The cafe has been taken over by a coffee roasting business. The Waiting Room and Gallery are both available for meetings.

This place is open for meals on Sundays from 12-6pm. The menu is good value and features a good choice of traditional polish dishes e.g. pork cutlet, various pierogi dishes etc.. The weekly 'menu of the day' is generally published on the club's Facebook page the day before. We found the food tasty and the staff friendly. We plan to visit again soon.

Mi esposo y yo llevamos a mi nieta a la cueva de cristal y nos lo pasamos muy bien, fue divertido, caminando a través de la cueva y ver todas las estalactitas y estalagmitas. El restaurante no tiene lo que yo llamaría la comida estupenda es justo lo que yo llamo comida rápida pero no disfrutar del museo

Absolutely lovely fish and chips and other cooked food. Sit down and nice service and atmosphere, also does take away. Highly reccomended.
