Great Italian style coffee! Good service. Opens at 8:00 . We had our coffee before taking the 3 island trip. A cappuccino and a cortisone, top!

Go here for real freshly ground and roasted coffee. Superb. You even have a selection of different roasts to choose from.

Excellent coffee in this busy little cafe on the sea front. Customers were happy to share tables. Staff were friendly and efficient. A pain au chocolate was VG. Tastiest coffee I’ve had in ages. The benefits of a good roaster I think.

Always fantastic coffee, really well made by excellent baristas, fast service ,choice of roasts....what's not to love? Well, the food, in truth but hey, this is a coffee mecca and they do it so well.

Great coffee very friendly staff. Dog friendly inside as well as our side. Cakes were great too. Flapjack is nutty and not too sweet. Coconut slice with raspberry jam you could actually taste. Again not too sweet.

Easy access, right in front of the bay. Excellent coffee and friendly staff. Card only, no cash. You get a choice of Brazil, Rwanda or another (can’t remember the name). The coffee is awesome and worth a return visit. The coffee were served in these stylish cups without handles. Their pastries were tasty as well especially the cherry bakewell tart.

Lovely spot in Oban with a good selection of coffee and teas. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, even under trying circumstances. Seating is limited and most don’t see the sign to delay claiming a table until your order is placed. This seems to cause some misunderstanding, even in the reviews I’ve seen here. I visit once or twice a week and have never had an issue, you must simply be patient or get take away!

I can recommend the Brazilian and Peru coffee. As well as the ham and cheese Empanadas and the pastel De Nata . But to be honest all the pastries looked fabulous. You pick the origin of your coffee . FANTASTIC. The staff are fast and efficient. Brilliant small business. If you like coffee this is the place for you.

The coffee may be good but the staff attitude is appalling. Lack of positive customer interaction. Bizarre arrangement whereby you buy coffee etc but not guaranteed a table and also asked to pay a tip before you receive anything. Won’t be back!

Best flat white I've tasted anywhere in Scotland this year, very pleasant/efficient service - and miles ahead of the other places in Oban we tried for coffee.

Excellent coffee - smooth rich and creamy. Beautiful latter art and 3 flavours of roast to choose from, it was a gem to find this cafe

Centrally located, hipster vibes. Awesome coffee. Different beans/blends. Their light bites were beyond my expectations too: I had the meat pie/pasty and it was flavourful and came with a sauce. Indoor and outdoor seating. Retail corner. Gets crowded during peak hours like weekends.

The coffee was very good but the service was very average. They do not accept cash and this for me is a no no. Also when paying with my card I was asked to give a gratuity, this was before I had left the counter never mind tasted the coffee. When you run a business like this it’s about the whole experience not just the quality of what you are selling, sorry I will not be back

Wow, this place was busy but the coffee is possibly the best coffee that I have ever tasted. On my second visit I also had a fruit and nut flap jack which was also absolutely delicious. Nice people too.

I actually don't remember the specifics of my experience here. I had some kind of empanada, which I enjoyed, and my husband had espresso--no complaints there. It was fun to sit outside with the harbor view.

My partner and l just spent five days travelling around Scotland and we’re both Australian so finding a good coffee is difficult in our opinion. Whilst stopping in Oban we reviewed TripAdvisor and sought out this coffee shop and we both agreed it was the best coffee we had whilst travelling Scotland. The coffee was smooth and tasty and was more than worth the visit. We both walked away wishing we had bought a second one each. Awesome work.

Artisan ofee taken too far. Yes it was nice coffee but so "Costa". Thing with Costa is that even if there is a queue you can usually get a coffee in 5 mins. Wal,Ed into this place and 15 minutes later we got to order.......so still hadn't got a coffee yet. Shocking service........get a grip.

excelente 👌🏼a perfectly smooth coffee blend, chocolates and rich and everything you could ever want all in a huge mug with beautiful latte art on the top. Flat white was also exceptional. You get to select the flavour of beans you want, which I thought was really unique and personal. Lovely setting on the harbour front, with beautiful, fresh interior design and friendly service. Will definitely be back here for more lattes.

Excellent coffee! Best I tasted in Oban by far. They seem to really care about their coffee and queues waiting for it were testament to its quality. Can’t comment on food as didn’t try that.

Came here while waiting for the bus to Fort William and ordered a hot chocolate. Was pleasantly surprised to discover they had a choice of hot chocolate so opted for 75%. It was lovely though also the most expensive hot chocolate I've had (but to be fair, food & energy prices are rather high).

I was expecting great things from Hinba having researched prior to my visit to Oban, but was left a little disappointed. Service was rather lacklustre and unenthusiastic. No skimmed or semi-skimmed millks were available and no alternatives were offered (it’s really not difficult to offer skimmed or semi-skimmed milk - it was early on a Friday afternoon so not close to closing time). I can’t have whole milk due to gastric cancer so had an Americano which was ok but not what I’d wanted. I was keen to buy beans to take home but staff didn’t seem to be overly customer oriented so I didn’t bother.

I was advised to try Hinba for a good cup of coffee & they were right. I chose a latte using their Brazilian blend & it was honestly one of the best cups of coffee I'll ever drink. Lovely little place with a view of the sea. If you enjoy great coffee, you'll love Hinba :)

I call it Debbie's place - you'll know it when you see it! - said several of the locals on Islay. A large group of us visiting the island had spent the morning dotted across it doing various different activities. I'd asked in the brilliant Islay Natural History Trust where locally we could grab lunch and was directed to the Bruichladdich Mini Market. The place itself is run by Debbie, her mum and her sister. It's the ort of place that is the lifeblood of islands the world over - half grocery shop, half cafe - all welcoming. Debbie's sister was in charge when a group of 15 of us rocked up unannounced. This would normally not have been a problem - plenty of outside seating - but that particular day the ferry had been cancelled, along with much of the stock for the shop and cafe. Undeterred the staff there made us feel welcome and pulled together a lunch which went down very well with all - children and adults alike. Think sandwiches and toasties with great coffee and a good choice of cold drinks. They also serve some amazing cakes - I'm told the rocky road was fab, I know the chocolate cake was! Although initially under pressure when we all turned up, the staff seated us happily and we had all eaten within about 15 minutes of arriving.

The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and the food was fresh and piping hot we had chille and it had a lovely heat just after eating it nothing to strong. We had apple crumble for dessert this was made fresh as the dishes were super hot but also amazing tasting will be beck next time am up this way.
