I’ve ordered their veggie fry ups a few times now and never been disappointed. You get a huge spread and it arrives really quickly on a Sunday morning when you’re desperate for some hangover munchies

First and last visit, very disappointed with everything, placed order with just eat and told our order would be ready at a certain time, when I arrived to collect stood waiting without anyone acknowledging me! Then to be told to come back as my order was not ready! Food when I got it was mediocre and luke warm, my waffles were grainy, chicken wasn't even crispy, the full breakfast wasn't too great either. Staff just looked like the couldn't care less, sorry but I won't be back, such a shame.

This is the mint aero pancakes which cost £5.. Poor service as forgot half of our order in the first place. Had to wait a further 20 minutes for dry pancakes and a few mint aero bubbles. Will not be visiting again.

I visited the cafe today with my son we weren’t disappointed. On arriving the sign said open Monday to Friday so kinda threw us out , I was lazy in high winds phoned the number from car Lisa cheerily informed me come in we are open . So don’t let the sign deter you .Only gripe it needs updated . On entering we were met by Lisa with a welcome cheery smile after shift . Lisa informed us about breakfasts asking if we had any allergies . I chose the large breakfast and hot chocolate . My son had the bad boy (apt lol) munchie box and water . The hot chocolate was the best I’ve had in a while to be fair and pipping hot . The meals arrived together and at a decent time cooked straight away from fresh . Please check the actual amount of each item on there website menu as there was so much . My metal plate which was different and kept food hot was brimming over . My sons munchie box was full to overload Now onto the important bit the food You ever been to a place where meal comes and you look at it disappointed black pudding and haggis small dried out slices ? Beans stuck to plate dried up ? This breakfast a game changer Haggis and black pudding big thick moist slices , really tasty puddings not bland Bacon thick slices , sausages great texture didn’t explode when cut ! They actually were meaty . Mushrooms freshly cut big pieces not wee thin slices that lie limp ! Beans freshly heated , tatie scone cooked to perfection as was the hash browns . Slice sausage thick and juicy not dry . Toast buttered . Egg done how you fancy The bad boy munchie box would do a small family to be honest two adults and two wee ones Buying couple rolls and making them up would be a great saving Cliff the chef .lisa the front of house and cook too were fantastic and chatty . Delivery guy was full banter as they do just eat and it was early . In fact the manager Jai was doing deliveries to just to keep up . Will be sure to return , a welcome home cooked meal after a long hospital shift with great staff and off course my son Wayne’s great company too Highly recommend .meant to say Jai the boss even informed me if your on a calorific diet for whatever reason they can rustle up healthy omelette etc so just ask on entering and they try to accommodate Pic of my son looking sheepish having eaten the bad boy !! His choice to have in box was offered plates for it all as in bulk !!

Good place to eat, good value for money. Coming from Asda on the main street, turn left and after 150 metres you'll find this café on the left. It's nice and small, friendly personnel, a few tables inside but comfortable. Cheap prices, you can also order and collect. The food is quite good. We had a good breakfast and a good coffee. Recommended!!!

Ordered a salad Munchy box and it was ready very quickly. The owner even made sure all diary was put so it didn't touch the rest of the food as the person who I was sharing this with is dairy intolerant will defiantly order again

Great quality food with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Very good prices and menu range. Didn't have to wait long for food to arrive and the portion sizes where excellent. Would defiantly recommend to others.

Have just stumbled across this place (it's tucked away in a quieter part of Winton High St) as it's near where I work and it's fantastic. Have sampled the sausage sandwich (tasty - proper sausages - good price) and the Hungry Wolf cooked breakfast which can only be described as a treasure trove of deliciousness.

Great value for money, food was cooked to order and tasted great. The option to phone in an order and have it ready to collect is very convenient. Friendly service and we'll definitely be back.

A bit of the beaten track but worth it. If this café was in the city centre, it would be packed out every day! We enjoyed lovely, freshly made sandwiches in a cosy atmosphere and took some delicious cakes home. I hadn’t been for a while but it’s every bit as nice as I remember, we’ll definitely be back.

We didn't stay but went for lunch one Sunday. We booked but several groups turned up without booking and were able to get a table. The menu is the usual pub grub but nicely presented and service was quick. Ae chose the roast beef, meatball and curry with icecream and coffee to follow. All very tasty The welcome and service were frienly and efficient and the dining room light airy and spacious.

What a disappointment. I found the Bothy at Boglily on TA, loved the look of the place, the gorgeous photos of cooked food on their site and the good reviews. We are doing a road trip and this was going to be our Sunday morning treat. The car park was jammed with cars and we saw people standing in a queue to pet baby goats. Upon entering the inviting Bothy and asking a young man for a table, we were told that we couldn’t bring our dog in. Fair enough. Not every dining establishment is dog-friendly. Though I was a bit surprised as the restaurant is in a buffalo farm, there’s a petting zoo and it’s in the countryside. The sun was shining so I asked if we could order our meal and sit at the table on the deck, directly next to the door of The Bothy (see photo for proximity). The young man’s response was that they don’t offer takeaway. I queried whether a table one step from the door qualified as takeaway. It reminded me of the TV ad with the man trying to buy potatoes at a farm shop and being told that he can only pay with digital currency. People taking themselves so seriously that they don’t think of the customer experience. We had driven up from our holiday cottage at Kinghorn especially to get a nice cooked breakfast from their lovely menu, so my surprise and disappointment were apparent. I was directed to the outdoor kiosk they call the Milk Bar to order something from their limited selection. We ordered one Double Cheese Toastie with fries, a latte, an affogato milkshake ( made with buffalo milk ice cream) and a scone, which was on their menu. The two lovely servers told me that they don’t sell scones outside and I would have to go to the Bothy Café to get one. When I explained that I had been told up there that I couldn’t get anything from them takeaway, the young woman offered to go get one for me. They were both very sweet and I apologised for my previous grumpiness. Unfortunately, it wasn’t worth the trouble. The cheese toastie and fries were served in a cardboard tray. The toastie was on “cheap white bread” according to my partner. I didn’t taste it. The fries and the milkshake however, were excellent. My scone was dry, cold and crumbled into breadcrumb texture when I tried to spread some butter on it. The crumb was impossible to pick up and eat but my dog liked it. It wasn’t worth eating for me as it then began to rain and we had to head for the car. I can’t help but think that the very cheerful, welcoming and upmarket website promises more than it delivers.
