The food here is freshly made to order and of great quality. My chicken Caesar wrap was the fattest, most stuffed wrap I’ve ever had in my life ! My husband plumped for a cheese panini, which was also excellent quality. The staff were lovely and the cafe very clean. Highly recommended for a quick bite !

Visited the Corbie Inn for the first time for lunch. The service was top-notch and catered for my dietary requirements well (gluten & dairy free). The food was very nice with a good selection on the menu. The atmosphere was slightly lacking as we were the only ones there, but it meant we got brilliant service from the waiters!

Originalmente trató de reservar para toda la familia de 15 pero demasiado ocupado ya que era domingo de Pascua. Así que un grupo más pequeño fue a probarlo. La comida era excelente, amable y servicial. A pesar de que era tiempo completo para la comida era bastante rápido. No dudaríamos en volver

This was my 3rd visit to Jack o Bryan’s for their lunch menu, Unfortunately this visit I was so disappointed with the food and service. To start with the food, we ordered 6 dishes and only thought 2 out of 6 were lovely. The warm sourdough and black pig butter was delicious, also the roasted cauliflower was lovely. The other dishes were very confused and most of the flavourings did not work well. We ordered the beef tar tar (which previously I have loved) but this was not pleasant… the flavours over powdered what should have been the star of the dish the beef. The Lamb Yaki was nice although once cutting of the fat that was not edible you really only got 2 mouthfuls each and this dish is £16. The soft shell crab was over cooked very small and the sauce that comes with it did not work with the crab was actually really odd to have a fish dish with soft peppers and a pepper/peri peri sauce. The black pudding caramelised onion and blue cheese dish was ok but it just 2 small bits of black pudding with what tasted like onion chutney and a cheese sauce with no hints of blue cheese and again these flavours are odd together. Overall I think for £70 for 6 dishes I would expected more could get a far better filling lunch else where for less than that. The two times I have previously visited here I loved it but this time the flavours were confused and over priced for what you get. The front of house lady who took us to our table was very unpleasant and not friendly. Never smiled once. When I asked for a new plate you’d think I asked her for £20 with her reaction. Also when we were happy drinking water and not adding drinks or wine her fave was tripping her. If it’s the first person who greets your customers I’d advise getting someone more friendly with a smile.. made for an unpleasant atmosphere and we were in and out in 45min.

A real find if you are looking for tasty food . Menu was varied and the special board added even more choices . The food was delicious and the portions were large. The service was excellent Very reasonably priced . A hidden gem . We will definitely return

Me and my partner were visiting the area from North Yorkshire for the week, we struggled to find some good local pubs which had a menu that popped out and that welcomed our furry friend! After discovering the Pitcairngreen inn, we were pleasantly surprised, upon first glance the pub looks a touch deserted from the exterior; but we put this down to the gloomy day and damp weather. After walking through the door we were greeted by a lovely young man who was more than happy to assist us and get us seated at a table and give us some time to review the food and drink choices. The food, what can I say other than superb! We were both flabbergasted as the quality of the food, we ordered the Nachos to share as a starter; accompanied with cheese and fried chicken, and what a treat, all homemade by the looks of things, the portion size was large but it was devoured nevertheless! To follow for main, we enjoyed a steak and ale pie and a Sirloin steak, cooked medium to rare. And I can comfortably say, it was cooked to perfection and accompanied by the best homemade Parmesan chips for the steak and homemade fries for the pie. To finish we devoured the homemade fudge sundae, topped with homemade ice cream and hand whipped cream! Perfect presentation! I finished off with a dark chocolate cheesecake accompanied again by their very own homemade vanilla ice cream! To top it all off, a very pleasant experience and service received from the staff on a whole. Special compliments to the young gentleman behind the bar whom served us this evening and the chef(s) who prepared such mouthwatering courses. Tim, Becki & Betty!

While looking for where to eat in Oban , I saw that this establishment had only very good reviews. It's 4 km from the city but it's definitely worth it. Nice little place where we ate really well away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I highly recommend it and what's more, the team is very nice
