Muircot Farm Shop is a gem nestled above Tillicoultry thereby providing wonderful views of there and the Ochills. Generous portions, pieces filled to bursting, gorgeous light cakes and baked goods in the cafe, and a good selection of items in the shop. I can only say great things about the place and the staff. All friendly and helpful and constantly smiling because they work in a fab place. 5 stars

We were lucky enough to be given a table that was booked, we had about 45 mins to order and eat and the staff delivered, we were ordering cakes to take away when we were told not to rush as a table had left and the people who booked got that table, we still took the cakes away as it was busy and, I understand why, the food was great, I had soup and a sandwich combo, it's a proper feed, and the cakes, oh boy, they are gooooood, well worth a visit, I will be back 😊😊

Great Farm shop cafe, beautiful views and staff are consistently great. Food is locally produced where possible and definitely value for money.

Is this the best view I've ever experienced at a farm shop? Very possibly! But also: the bread I had with my lunch was so good, I have been thinking about it ever since, plus the tiramisu cake was also excellent.

I've been here many times over the years as I live nearby. Always enjoy the food, and the service is great. I only have one issue, or I'd give it 5 stars. The barn-size room is so echoey that when it's busy, you can hardly hear your conversation. The echo of other customers' chat and cutlery banging is amplified so much that it can be really off-putting. Other than that, it's well worth a visit. Lovely view of the Ochils above Tillicoultry if you sit at the window. Some.nice food items in the farm shop area to take home.

Food was great. Staff really attentive and a varied Specials board. The only star being taken off because the room is typically pretty cold and the noisy door to the picnic benches that doesn't appear to close well, possibly making the cold situation worse.

Popped in for lunch place was very busy, but we got a table straight away service was great food even better, soup was fantastic and the sandwich was extremely fresh good local produce, would definitely return and recommend

The food there is tasty, but the menu is quite limited to soup, sandwiches, and cakes for the most part. If you visit at peak lunch times, you’ll likely be told there’s no tables, or how long you can expect to wait. The venue itself is quite loud and echoey, so I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re sensitive to noise. Nice in the Summer time to sit out the back in the sun and take in the views of the hills, but they only have a limited number of seats out there, so not always available (depending on time). I recommend as a good place to grab a coffee and a cake, but not so much if you’re looking for lunch with plenty of choice. It’s pretty pricey for what you get, also.

Lovely cafe with absolutely stunning views. Food was fantastic, couldn't fault anything. Lots of parking space out front. Is very access friendly, they have a ramp for the door and accessable toilets, plus plenty of space between the tables.

A quaint place. We had 2 beautiful thick soups 1 Cheese,Bacon and Spinach tart 1 Red Wine,Beef topped with 2 cobs 1 Bakewell Tart with ice-cream 2 Elderflower waters and 1 fruit tea.We left full with all of these hearty home-baked delight. Staff were awesomely friendly and attentive.A treasure of a place to discover for a quality,good tasting lunch.Thank you

Stopped in for breakfast while traveling through the area and had a great experience. Lovely farm shop that also serves breakfast and lunch. Food was fresh and delicious combined with beautiful views. Great spot to stop for a quick meal or snack.

It'll be good if they do gluten free stuff and other stuff like that. Had the sausage roll sausages were really nice definitely be back for breakfast

Muircot Farm is by far the best coffee shop/cafe in the area. We’ve been many times and the food is consistently excellent, the location lovely and the staff friendly. I have a passion for the Tiramisu cake , light and yet creamy. I had to share a photo. Closely followed by the Bakewell tart, Lemon Meringue pie, twice baked soufflé, home cooked ham etc etc . A lovely treat .

I think everything has been said about this farm shop and they are right. Really friendly staff, great and fast service and best of all the food was plentiful and tasted so good.

Well Done Muircot Farm shop. Its our Favourite place to eat lunch. My husband being a Coeliac finds its hard going trying to find somewhere coeliac friendlty to eat. It also has the advantage of providing a scenic view of the Ochil Hills & nearby are plenty of places to go walkabout. Its our Anniversary today & where else to celebrate a nice relaxing lunch & be tempted by the cakes on display. Thank you for making our day extra special!

A nice & modern farm shop and restaurant with nice views when it's not raining! The food is top quality, you can tell it's good produce but the star of the show is the lemon meringue pie. And the carrot cake. And the strawberry tarts. Perhaps the coffee could be a bit better but I like visiting here for lunch or coffee and cake. The staff are great too and there is a decent sized shop with loads of different produce to purchase. Well worth a visit and always busy.

Before Covid my friends and I used to come here after our Monday walk so we are very disappointed it no longer opens on a Monday

Wonderful find, off the beaten track but well worth the effort. Stopped for lunch, we both had Ploughman's which was absolutely amazing, sat outside and enjoyed the views. The food here is wonderful and the staff are lovely.

We’re regulars here. Food is always great with a regularly changing specials board. Staff and owners are friendly and genuinely welcome to see you. Outdoor area has a spectacular view of the Ochil hills and provides a good, dog friendly space. Best place for lunch, coffee & cake in the Clackmannanshire area by miles.

Typical farm shop there all roughly the same not a lot of hot food at this one I would probably go again the veiw out the window is spectacular staff nice .

This place is lovely , food is good and all staff are very pleasant and welcoming. We usual visit here once a week . The views are beautiful and although it’s spacious it’s cosy to sit in .

Awesome view and great products. Sat outside at the benches to have coffee with family visiting Greece. The views are breathtaking and something completely new for them. The service was super helpful and friendly. We also bought a lot of the products for them to gift back home, Scottish products to remind them of their trip. If u are looking for a nice day about for coffee and even some food this place is awesome.

Love Muircot, was my dad and stepmums favourite place to eat, and is now mine

Had been here once before about five years ago and was impressed. Returned the other week, first time post Covid, and wondered if it would still be as good. It was a Saturday afternoon at the beginning of March. It looked as if they had increased the number of tables, at the expense of retail space since the last time we were there (though I may be wrong, it was five years ago!) but despite that it looked as if there were no tables free. However, as it was a warm day we offered to take one of the outside tables. Within a few minutes a friendly server had arrived to take our order and within a few minutes more the food had arrived, despite how busy the place was. We both has the soup and smoked salmon sandwich combo. There was a choice of two soups and we had them both between us and they were really good, and a generous portion. I was expecting the smoked salmon sandwich to be a few slivers but no, it was a generous slab of hot smoked salmon in lovely brown bread. Excellent! So, please to say standards have been maintained and I certainly hope to be back again, sooner than five years this time!

This heartwarming farm shop/coffee shop provided my husband and I with a special order lunch today - thank you. The food was excellent, tasty, fresh and well portioned. We also had a sweet treat of gypsy cream cakes and millionaire shortbread to take home and savour with coffee at 3, stretching out our enjoyment of the beautiful home baking and cooked food served here. The kindness and service from the owner and staff of the farm shop/bistro are worthy of a five star award. Looking forward to our next visit for morning coffee. P.S. the stunning views are five star too, especially on a bright crisp day.

Excellent, as usual, been some time since we've been here but nothing has changed in that it's still as good as ever. Preferable to book as it is always quite busy. Dog friendly but outside only, so take note of the weather. Disabled access.

Food is always lovely and fresh. I had twice baked cheese souffle today and it is sooo tasty. The staff are excellent, friendly and efficient. There were 13 of us out for Christmas lunch today and we were all served at the same time. The cakes are delicious too. 😊

A lovely cafe with an amazing view over Tillicoultry Glen and the Ochil Hills. The sandwiches were really good and the sweets delicious. There was also a great selection of drinks including some locally produced lemonades. The small shop offers beautiful gifts as well as a number of local produce including meat and vegetables. The staff was very friendly and the service was quick. A great place to visit at lunch or at tea time.

Three of us arranged to meet for a ‘soup and a sandwich lunch’ a week ago. We booked without difficulty and as we walked in we were greeted by a staff member who took us to our table. This is a small fart shop and ‘light’ meals operation with a fairly simple menu but we had been before and knew that what they offered was what we wanted. We all opted for the soup and sandwich offer - there were two home made soup options and several sandwich choices all made with a choice of bread. The bread was fresh and the fillings generous. Service was slick but friendly and we thought that the prices reflected good value for money. It’s an hours away from where we live - but we will be back !

The best view ever for a lunch we've ever had. A stunning ceiling high view of the Ochil Hills. Great lunch options. The special we had of the brie, bacon and cranberry tart was great. There's a great selection in the farmshop too!

Great wee find of a place. It combined deliciously tempting cakes and savory treat with a stunning view of the Ochil Hills. We chose a lemon meringue pie which had equal amounts of filling to meringue with just enough lemon tang and a terrmisu cake which was so light, both were delicious. All rhe staff were welcoming and friendly. There are lots of Scottish produce too buy and we were tempted by a couple of chutneys and oatcakes. We would throughly recommend.

Great food and service. Authentic, fresh, quality. I had the ploughman's lunch, it was outstanding but the lemon merangue pie was out of this world. The best I've ever had.

This was recommended to me and so we decided to visit for lunch during the week. We were not disappointed, we had lovely sandwiches, coffees and the most delicious cakes. Specials are available daily and we will most certainly be back again. Beautiful views over the Ochil hills, lovely venue, all staff we met were first class.
