The dinner was OK nothing like what you see on the website service was good but wee will not be back

Decided to try out the new caterers at Leven Thistle GC. Went for the 3 course menu for £15 which was excellent value. Great views over the famous leven links course and food was excellent. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back

Visited today for hubbies birthday. Staff very friendly and accommodating … all covid measures strictly adhered to and as someone who was coming out of shielding I felt safe with the measures in place. Our meal was first class, and my hubby who is a Sticky Toffee connoisseur said it was the best he had ever tasted. Highly recommend.

A great place to eat in Leven. The food was excellent with a good choice of menu and good prices. Recommend the roast beef on Sunday. The portions are large. Could have a starter and main or main and dessert but no way could you eat 3 courses. Staff very friendly and helpful.

We were invited to the Thistle for a friends birthday lunch. What a lovely restaurant. Staff was friendly from the minute we walked in until we left. We arrived at 13.00 and left at 15.45. No rush for the table. Hand sanitizer when you walk in, taken to the table by a friendly staff member. Staff had face mask on, tables are spread out , and one way walk system : COVID regulations. The food was delicious. Good value portions. The restaurant and toilet was spotless clean. Highly recommend this restaurant and we will go back.

Can't fault this place it's a must if in the area, huge portions but if you fancy a starter or sweet they do smaller mains on some dishes, food is fresh and piping hot . Restaurant spotless and friendly helpful staff. Great value for money!!

4 of us went for a meal today, WOW the food was superb, huge portions which were VERY reasonably priced. 2 x starters, 4 mains and 2 x desserts and not one the same, all food was delicious, could not fault a thing. We will definitely be back!

Went for a family meal for 6 adults & 2 children. Meal was very good, nice varied selection to choose from as well as kids menu. Staff were excellent, would recommend to all.

The portions are immense, so don't eat lunch before going for dinner! The starters are too tempting, so you need an appetite! Six of us opted for the haggis starter, prawn cocktail or soup, all tasty. Followed with fish & chips, chicken piri piri, steak pie, all delicious! No room for dessert sadly. Amazing value for money! Great service!

Superb meal , excellent value for money , would recommend, steak was delicious. Next time we visit we’ll try and book the window table with the stunning views of the golf course & bay

good food good service and excellant value but the platefull is too much for some people i had fillet steak which was cooked to perfection ,so i can reccomend

Went for a bar lunch a few weeks ago. Lovely setting. Good service. Food really good. Lovely views from the window we were sitting at of Leven beach and golf course.

Having Landed at Edinburgh Airport from My Home in Spain then being Driven to Leven by My Nephew We were ready for a Meal and as I had been at Leven Thistle on previous visits to Leven We stopped Here before going to My Nephews.I had Roast Pork, Roast Potatoes and Vegetables with Apple Sauce and then Knickerbocker Glory and My Nephew had Roast Beef, Roast Potatoes and Vegetables and then Applie Pie with Custard. We also had a Coffee and a Pint of Coke. Cannot remember the Cost of the Meal but it was Delicious and was definately very good Value. The Staff were also Friendly and Welcoming.

Loved the views over the golf course. Party of four having a 3 course meal. The food and service were excellent. You are also allowed to use the club bar so reasonably priced food and drink. Will definitely be back.

Had a lovely lunch big portions,very tasty lots of options on the menu including some with smaller portions (wise move if u want A Desert) lovely surroundings ,

Don't miss the offer of the day, I had the steak and it was great value and worth at least twice the price.

Just came out from there after a anniversary meal very disappointed not with the food it was first class but because they had prematurely put ice cream on my plate but before it came out i told the girl I wanted cream she came back with it and the ice cream was on the plate and the girl said no cream left which I said fine but on the way out the girl gave other diners cream its not a problem but don't like being lied to if they said it was already dished out fine but blatantly lied to very disappointed and to think had just left nearly 6 pound's tip

Been here several times and it never disappoints. Lovely staff great service and the food is fantastic. Highly recommended 👌🏻

Visited for lunch with friends, it was first class, great service and meal was delicious, will definitely go back there.

We saw this place on TripAdvisor and thought we would go there while visiting Leven. We followed the postcode on our Sat Nav & ended up at the Leven Thistle Golf Clubhouse which had a sign saying Members Only. So, as it didn’t seem too welcoming to members of the public, we left, without eating, disappointed. If the management are reading this and this is a wrong impression, apologies, but they need to change their signage.

I have never visited a place like this before . A quiet unassuming place with a lovely view . We weren't too sure what to expect . Not too busy when we were there . The food was tasty and well presented . Prices at an all time low for what we would pay in London . Denise is amazing and the waiting staff extremely attentive . We just wish we lived closer . All dishes freshly cooked and the dessert home made as well . I felt as if I had cheated the staff out of pocket! The mac and cheese would have been £19.95 in London and nor £8 . Just well done and please go and visit if you are local!

Made very welcome, food first class it is a must to visit this Restaurant down by the Beach area. Highly recommend you try this place out.

BY far the best for food that I have found so far in Leven, good sensible prices , excellent portion sizes with good service , nothing not to like

Pequeño gran restaurante arriba en el club de golf. Visitamos varias veces y nunca me ha decepcionado con la comida, las porciones generosas, relación calidad-precio y el personal es muy educado. No puedo recomendar lo suficiente. Denise (gerente de catering) hace todo lo posible para satisfacer a su diners y esto se refleja en la comida familiar preparado.

Pensavamo fosse un ristorante solo per i soci invece è aperto a tutti. Mangiato benissimo, ottimo prezzo e servizio eccellente. Consigliato vivamente

Encantadora casa tradicional club de golf con magníficas vistas. Excelente opción de menú y calidad excepcional de comida cocinada. Los precios son fácilmente una buena relación calidad-precio. Uno de, si no el mejor, de los lugares locales para una comida fantástica. Asadas es muy recomendable....

Después de 18 hoyos sobre los enlaces escénicos y blissful_nup Leven nos metimos en Leven Thistle clubhouse para el almuerzo. El personal era muy amable y acogedor, y ofrece un gran servicio. Pedimos sopa y nachos para empezar, entonces había pescado y patatas fritas, hamburguesas o bistec sobresaliente para nuestros platos principales, todos estaban deliciosas y generosas porciones de las botas a un precio muy razonable ( £10 por 2 campos promedio) no me puedo quejar del lugar. Volveremos de nuevo

Delighted that Leven Thistle now has great meals on offer. We've been a few times now and can honestly say the meals are delicious, well cooked, generous portions and the staff are very friendly with nothing being too much trouble.Really hope word gets around and the club gets the business it deserves. Lovely setting overlooking the golf course and beach. Please give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

went with young family and had an enjoyable meal,the food was all freshly cooked and plenty of choice,not expensive and good quality even the kids chicken was the real thing not processed rubbish

We've been 4 or 5 times now and have always had a great meal except the time we went for the Sunday Roast, which was very disappointing, However, if you order the scampi, you get loads of scampi and the salads are really gorgeous, with a great assortment of both fruit and veg in them The steak pie and fish and chips look really nice too. Not high cuisine, but great value for the money and the view over Largo Law, the golf course and the beach are amazing. Well worth a visit as long as you can climb up the steps.
