Had a good night with the locals being so welcoming and competitive at this place.

Stopped in for a quick bar lunch with the hubby as he was working in the area. Fish n chips for both of us, mine with batter, his with breadcrumbs. Clean plates all round and salad was good that came with it. Service was slower than usual but they were short staffed and had a few tables in but food came quick once order was taken. Great place for lunch and reasonable prices.

Fantastic place, live music and very friendly bar staff and punters! Highly recommended.

Sons food was cold and the steak tasted weird. My fish batter was half cooked,soggy and inedible.waitress said some people like it soggy like that !!!! Hands up who like fish half cooked in soogy batter??

Didn’t even know this place existed. Came upon it by accident. Glad me did. Brilliant food and lovely staff. Excellent value for money and great service. My husband had the fish and chips and he said it was lovely fish. I had the chicken and bbq sauce. We both had the toffee sundae. It was massive. Will definitely be back.

Went with friends for Wednesday fish tea Used to go regularly and always tasty and excellent value. However fish not cooked and batter so thick and elasticy it was inedible. Really was looking forward to it but won't be back. Several friends also commented they were disappointed too. Staff pleasant ,chips,peas and tea fine. Dessert good

Just had a lovely meal at Weavers in Kirkcaldy I have coeliac and catered for me very well staff we're very friendly think it will be my go to place £12 95 for two courses good varied menu good knowledge of gluten free seperate frier too which if your coeliac you'll know how important that is

We went for a family meal. 6 of us enjoyed the great selection of real pub food on offer. Steak pie was a big portion filled with well cooked beef. the chicken goujons were absolutely fresh and delicious and we loved all three courses. Clean and fresh pub setting with very polite and efficient staff..... we cant wait to go back!

I was looking for a specific foodstuff. And despute looking in the fresh food only to be shown a tinned version that wouĺd suffices

You just can't fault weavers, 8 courses, 4 drink, £60, food was really good, staff are friendly, I have visited 5 or 6 times now and it never let's you down, highly recommended

Quality, value for money, food & excellent, friendly service

I had fish and chips with side salad for main course and crunchy toffee sundae for sweet. The fish was really big and the batter was crispy and not greasy. The waitress was friendly and made you feel at home. I don't normally have a sweet but was tempted and wasn't disappointed, it was delicious. I left the premises full after having the best meal out for a long time. I would definitely recommend you try a meal here.

5 of us,had a three course meal. Food was perfect and the staff could not do enough for us. Highly recommend this place for an afternoon meal. Good quality and great value

Great to be back at the Weavers. Food here is always excellent and the staff always efficient and friendly. Somewhat lacking in disabled access though. Banoffee Shortcake was yummy. See pic.

Every bit as excellent as my last visit friendly staff good food and great value for money, Just had the chicken&ham pie, it was rich creamy and the pastry was the perfect crispness. Another home run

We called in at the Weavers today for lunch on our way home, so I didn't have to cook, food was excellent, ample portions, staff are very friendly, nice atmosphere to sit in to have lunch.

Not a bad pub but don't understand why it is so expensive £3.70 for a pint of Tennants lager and £4.40 for Everlee which I've never heard of before

The Weavers has become my favourite place to each. Fresh, home made food, wide selection without being overwhelming and brilliant service. The staff were excellent explaining menu specials etc and completely focussed. £32 for 3 meals (one a pensioner portion), 2 sweets, 2 coffees, 1 tea and a red bull - has to be the cheapest place around. And its a pot of tea! Booked in for highly recommended fish tea night on Wednesday.

We stopped in here for a quick bite to eat at lunchtime and once again the food was delicious. I ordered the gammon and my wife ordered the pensioner meal, 2 courses for £7.95. Without hesitation my gammon was the best cooked gammon I have had it just melted in the mouth and along with chips, perfectly cooked, and veg, it was a nice sized plate. The pensioner meal was a smaller portion but ideal for anyone who isn't a big eater or just don't fancy a large meal for dinner. The fish my wife ordered was perfectly cooked and the salad that came with it really tasty. The millionaire shortcake sundae (second course if the pensioner meal deal) was also delicious, clean plates all round and at a great price. The servers were polite, prompt and well presented. Great pub food I can highly recommend it.

Food is of a consistently high standard. Staff are always pleasant and friendly. Also beautifully maintained toilet facilities with fresh flowers near wash hand basins.

Weavers was recommended by a friend, so we thought we'd try it, and I'm glad we did. Lovely fresh food. Kind andhelpful staff and a great atmosphere. This will now be our go to lunch destination.

Had lunch here for the first time in months. Chicken goujons starter very well cooked and presented and very tasty. Roast beef mains , beef tender and the gravy very good as was the chips and veg. Friendly polite and efficient staff, restaurant and toilets spotless. Prices are really good, definitely worth recommending

Meal OK but the time it took to get the meal was far to long

Very impressed with our bar lunch, we ordered fish and chips and a curry, both dishes were well cooked, the fish was excellent. The server was polite, prompt and well presented. In and out within an hour, without feeling rushed. Great place to eat. The dining area is spacious but cosy and there is a well stocked bar with coffees available too. The toilets were very clean. Big thumbs up to the staff at Weavers.

Our meal was perfect beautiful real steak pie (not just steak and ga pastry placed on top )my friend had salad which was beautifully presented also sweets looked lovely .a great varied menu .reasonably priced .great service we will definitely go again

What a lovely wee pub I visited to hear a band play. Great atmosphere and good choice of drinks. Well situated with easy access to train station.

Went for a bar a lunch with my family, The chicken goujon starter is well worth the money and my husband and daughter had the garlic mushrooms they were huge in fact could've been a main course. The fish and chips were good fish was a bit greasy but tasted nice. The portions were huge and good quality the service was quick and the staff were great. Would definitely recommend this little pub for a great bar lunch would definitely be back.

It is a small restaurant but worth a visit staff are very helpful and there is a good choice available from the menu at reasonable prices.

First time of visiting this establishment and certainly won't be the last. Friendly staff and excellent meal.Will be returning soon.

A group of us went here for a bar lunch, we all ordered our food, which came to the table promptly, all our dishes tasted very good with only one small niggle, the batter on the deep fried mushrooms with a garlic mayonnaise was a bit greasy, other than that it was a really good meal. The servers were polite, prompt and well presented. I would highly recommend this pub for a bar lunch.

A group of us turned up for a Sunday bar lunch, without booking but managed to get a seat. The bar area for eating is clean and tidy with plenty of seats and tables available. The server came out and took our drinks order, then our food order when she returned, a short while later the starters came out, these were all very nice. Then came our mains, which were all excellent with only a couple of niggles, the batter on the fish was a tad greasy, the fish however was large and perfectly cooked inside the chips were frozen chips but perfectly cooked, the batter on the chicken gouchons, again slightly greasy and might of been better with bread or panko crumbs on them. The steak pie HALELUYA! was proper steak pie a rarity these days. All the sweets ordered were polished off and plates licked clean, delicious. The portions of all the dishes were huge, even if you do have a large appetite some might struggle to finish (this isn't a bad point just emphasizing you wont leave here hungry). The staff, sorry didn't catch your names, were polite, prompt and well presented. Don't let my small niggles put you off, this is a great wee place to go for a meal, we will be back.

Charge to much compared to other bars

Excellent food and always get a warm welcome,fish tea nights on a wednesday and the curry club on a friday are excellent.

Have been a pretty regular visitor in recent months but was sorely disappointed on our last visit. Tomato and lentil soup was rather tasteless, mac cheese was very small portion size and the chips could have done with another few minutes in the frier

Welcoming pub for delicious home cooked food. Excellent price. Clean and comfy. Offer 2 courses for under £9 and 3 courses for under £11 plus specials board. Lunches served Wednesday to Sunday.

Wonderful food and plenty of it in our plates. The price is definitly fine. I liked it.

Pub. Haven't been back for a few months for Wednesday fish tea but still very tasty and excellent value. Fish, chips,salad,veg. Tea and bread/butter only £6.50. Good quick service Tea from 5pm to 7pm
