Food was nice, but it's still a working mans pub so be prepared to walk through the smokers on the way in

Good food, reasonably priced. Friendly staff. According to my dad one of the best gantry's he's ever seen in the bar. Looking forward to trying the afternoon tea.

Unfortunately the clientele has went downhill. Louts outside shouting, old men covered who sit and defecate themselves while getting too drunk to make it either to the toilet or home. Oh, did i mention they serve food!

First time we've ever been for a breakfast and it was amazing decent portion size definitely recommended

Chose to have lunch in the bar.A typical Scottish bar. Great atmosphere and very friendly. Food was excellent and very well priced.

Absolute gem of a place, Laura is so friendly. Great value for money, always consistently great food whether it's a meal for date night or just a toastie for lunch with the kids, can't recommend it enough😁

Booked the lounge for a private function. Really excellent buffet and service. Great staff and superb range of whiskies. We had a meal here last week and the meals are home made, delicious and great value. 👍

I've long admired this traditional pub with its beautiful gantry, all-round authenticity and warm welcome on both sides of the bar. But I tried the food for the first time last week and still can't quite believe the menu variety, quality of cooking, presentation and value. Veggie haggis fajitas ... in Lower Methil ... who knew? The East Dock Kitchen might be the best-kept secret in Levenmouth, but hopefully not for long. Pub grub doesn't get much better than this.

5 stars is not enough for the beautifully cooked food and attentive staff. My friend uses a wheelchair and had no issues in seating herself comfortably. We will definitely be back.

A clean, well run, and friendly traditional wee pub. Good choice of drinks. Good food available from the kitchen. With a well liked and supported open mic night as well.

Have had both breakfast and a burns supper here, and the food and service were great. Looking forward to my next visit for a high tea. They serve a good range of beers and spirits in the bar at reasonable price and again a friendly service.

The heritage centre recommended this pub as it was good and nice architecture. They were correct as it a nice place to visit. Worth a go if you are in Methil.
