Loved it, a must for next time I'm up this neck of the woods 😄

Happened on this by chance and so enjoyed the food we booked to come back again later in the week despite it being nearly a 30 mile trip. Great service. Great environment but mainly great food.

We didn't stay but went for lunch one Sunday. We booked but several groups turned up without booking and were able to get a table. The menu is the usual pub grub but nicely presented and service was quick. Ae chose the roast beef, meatball and curry with icecream and coffee to follow. All very tasty The welcome and service were frienly and efficient and the dining room light airy and spacious.

Came here for Sunday Lunch whilst staying in Ellie. Not the cheapest but the food was great.

We had a great stay here excellent and comfortable with friendly staff and locals, the food was very tasty and good we would recommend this place, and come back thanks

Had early evening dinner here. Service was good and food of a good standard.

Dropped in for an evening meal with the family as we were passing through the area. Excellent service and food. Never known kids menu to be such good quality. Scallops and lobster were perfectly done and delicious. Will definitely be back.

Great little hotel, I mean 5 rooms! All very clean & tidy, with a large conservatory dining room, serving beautiful food.

Just had a beer in the dog friendly bar.

We came here in the morning for a full Scottish breakfast, and we were not disappointed. The waitresses are extremely friendly, and the food was sumptuous . I especially enjoyed the haggis and the eggs cooked to perfection . Highly recommended

Was here on Friday at a wedding. absolutely amazing service from all staff, friendly and super quick service. Food was absolutely delicious too. Everything was great! would definitely recommend

Had two family meals here in last few weeks while on holiday. Superb quality (your fish puts the Anstruther fish bar to shame). Not bad value. Lovely friendly, attentive staff. Highly recommended.

Visited this beautiful hotel for breakfast on the way home from st Andrews. What a friendly welcoming place. Décor was a mixture oldy worldy and modern. Food perfect staff fantastic. Highly recommend a visit x

Dropped in on a busy Thurs evening, our table was in the conservatory with views across Lower Largo bay. Staff had our drinks sorted in less than 5mins, service was faultless. We had Haggis and black pudding fritters with a peppercorn sauce and Whipped goats cheese tart for starters, off the scale!!! The peppercorn sauce had a real kick to it. Main courses were Confit pork which fell apart with black pudding mash, I had the haddock in Panko crumb. This place is a gem 5🌟 really reasonable for high quality food and service

Lovely restaurant. Had a family meal here on a recommendation. Firstly this place does get busy, so book ahead if you can. The menu is very Decent with some excellent options. The panko breaded haddock is fantastic. My partner had the steak pie, which was delicious. The sticky toffee pudding with salted caramel ice cream was delicious!! Prices are very reasonable for what you get. Thoroughly recommend this place!

COELIAC AWARE AND GLUTEN FREE MENU I can’t praise this hotel enough. My parents wanted to go out for a meal the 4 of us but I’m coeliac and very sensitive, I’ve not eaten out since 2018! But my parents were trying various places to see if any were suitable. After their meal a few weeks ago they were invited to talk to the chef Neil, who was so knowledgeable about gluten free, hidden gluten, cross contamination etc and so happy to help my parents felt it was going to be a safe place. We booked the meal. Prior to going I was to phone the head chef Neil to chat to him about the gluten free menu etc, I was so impressed by home and his understanding and reassurance I ended up excited to eat out. Well I was AMAZING the staff were aware before we arrived, the selection of gluten free meals was great. The staff and chef knowledge was amazing. My courses were brought out before everyone else’s so that it was played seperate and away from any risk or contamination and brought out on its own. Then the rest of the families followed and we all had a totally amazing and relaxing meal - I wasn’t worried at all infact I didn’t even think about it! The food was sensational and full of flavour and served lovely and hot. The entire meal was great the waiting staff were amazing no as well and so friendly and happy to help. I would recommend this to ANYONE and if you are a coeliac country them you won’t be disappointed and add this hotel to your safe list. The photo of the gluten free before and after says it all! Clean plate. Highly recommended.

Wonderful local gem. Food was the best we have had within a 10 mile radius. Staff were friendly, attentive, kind and helpful. We will be back. Family friendly. Just lovely.

Myself, my partner, our 15 month old daughter & our dog stayed in the hotel last night and cannot fault the place at all. Staff were brilliant with our daughter - high chair & children’s cutlery we’re waiting for us both at dinner and breakfast without having to ask. The hotel upgraded us to the apartment rather than a standard room as we had our little girl and dog with us and the space & furnishings were beautiful. Food was brilliant! One thing I will say, the photo’s online of this little gem don’t do the place justice. Relaxed & cosy atmosphere! Definitely will be back, a big thank you to all the staff 😊

Had a lovely meal in this hotel and restaurant. I had panko breaded haddock that was lovely and a huge portion and my wife had the homemade steak pie. Fortunately my wife got so full that she couldn't eat all the steak pie and I got to taste the leftovers.....can only say it was tremendous 👌 Lovely venue. Nice and clean . Very decent pricing.

Went for a christmas diner and the food was fantastic! Turkey was tender and the gravy was fantastic. The soup was a bit of a let down but as a whole the meal was fantastic. 10/10 and will be back again.

Love this place great value for your money and portion sizes are perfect after a game of golf and the pint of Heverlee was one of the best pints I have had in a long time👌. They also brought a bowl of water with ice for our dog aswell ...great customer service.

Whilst in the area, we used the hotel for brekkie and dinner that same night. The facilities, service, and food were superb. I highly recommend a visit.

We loved our room and the breakfast was great. But don't be critical about their food. Our Friday night dinner( which was my sister's 1st Anniversary with her husband who has stage 4 cancer)...was awful. Chilli con Carne with about 5 beans and no meat. More like a tomato salsa. Mac n cheese with no cheese chicken burger with thigh and gristle. Tried to discuss but chef told us to leave and not come back!

Brilliant little find. Great location from the beach, perfect for dinner. The food was amazing, the service impeccable! They're so friendly, attentive, and polite. More than just pub grub, the Steak Pie is definitely worth a try.

Excellent menu and even though it was very busy we did not have to wait long for our food. Special mention for the young staff covering the restaurant who were friendly, polite, attentive and efficient. Lots of tables outside as well which is great for those with dogs.

We ate here after a long hike that included hiking up Largo Law. This restaurant was a treat afterwards. Not expensive and an excellent menu offering various dishes. Beer is good and there is an outside area to eat and/or drink. Staff was friendly. Cute bar in the corner.

On holiday, we have tried several restaurants if this area, and we always look forward to eating here never had a bad meal and the service is excellent. The quality of meals is very good, as is the overall value. Would recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Esta vez mi esposa retiral hacer en la sala de reuniones que puede acomodar a 50 personas. Todo el mundo estaba impresionado por la variedad y menú precios, así como la eficiencia y alegre la naturaleza de las chicas para atendernos. Sin duda lo recomiendo para pequeños eventos de gran escala.
