The best restaurants in Central Scotland

Hidden gem. Lovely food. Friendly staff. Pleasant walk just near this place. We had homemade lunch followed by delicious cakes and coffee. There is also a little shop in the cafe which had some nice local goods in.

I came across smokey's and some other restaurants when I had a kitchen remodelled and didn't want to order from the same places all the time. Since then, Smokey's is one I return to regularly as their burgers and fries are delicious and very reasonably priced. Wasn't so keen on the cake we ordered but I think they might buy those in.

We stopped for an ice cream and drink whilst visiting the Kelpies. The ice creams were the biggest one scoop ice creams we’ve ever had and delicious dessert. Staff very friendly and a view to die for

The best Lamb Casserole that I have ever tasted in my 80 yrs. Wait staff fabulous

Service was quick. Food was good. Good portion. Friendly service. Reasonable price. Very spacious. Sitting outside available.

Its worth saying that we were five hungry people on their first trip to Stirling. The people who work here were SO friendly, looked after our every need. Especially Javaid and Haroon When they found out we were also Muslim, not only did we get the proper reassurance that their food was halal but they also invited us back after they had closed to serve us traditional (Pure milk - no water) Pakistani tea - served with fresh cream and also some chocolates. The tea was amazing and provided free as we were their guests. The food we bought was very good value for the quantity and quality at the price. Great place and food. Can’t believe it is ranked so low in Stirling on TA. Hopefully this review will reassure Muslim travellers in particular if looking for somewhere tasty, guaranteed halal and great service. You get my vote!

We ordered a late night takeaway from here. It was genuinely the tastiest meal I've had in a long time. Please treat yourself to a taste sensation I'd give it 11 out of 10

This restaurant and coffee house is very popular for its delicious Ice cream, locally made with many flavors to choose from, and you can order a few items from their regular a la carte menu. I noticed that they run the food section somewhat nonchalantly as many items on the menu were missing, although it wasn't really a cause for concern.We just wanted to have a couple Corona beers with some cheese and cold cuts, so we decided to share a Mediterranean salad with tomato, tuna, corn, and olives. We also placed orders for a carpaccio ci Bresaola and a carpaccio di Tacchino. We were pleased with the atmosphere and decided to stay a bit longer and enjoy two vanilla milk shakes.

Best pizzas we've had in a long time. Freshly made, tasty and the thin crispy bases were delicious. Lovely, friendly owners. Will be back soon.

We booked dinner for 2 through a phone call and collected from the West End Bar at the time we had specified (delivery is available). Every course was extremely ambitious, delicious and very well presented. There was a very small amount of cooking for us to do at home to complete the main course but this was well worth it. The ingredients are locally sources and the producers listed on the menu. We have tried a few similar take home menus in Edinburgh but this was superior. The menu changes each week making return visits very tempting.

Mi pareja y yo estábamos buscando un lugar que no tortitas en Falkirk, y estamos encantados que encontramos totalmente llenos. Situado en 2 Bean Row es un poco escondido, pero no cabe duda de que no es difícil de encontrar. Tenían un cartel de vaca Wynd, así que es muy fácil de encontrar. Fabulosa ubicación en la plaza de la ciudad. Gran restaurante espacioso, con un ambiente encantador. El personal es muy agradable y el servicio es siempre con una sonrisa y muy profesional. La comida es fantástica y menú de alta calidad. Genial para la cena también.

A menudo entrad en esta llevar/sentarse en deli para almorzar y café. Personal encantador en las deli que siempre son muy amables y serviciales. Abierto desde temprano en la mañana. A un corto paseo del centro de la ciudad con aparcamiento justo fuera de la cafetería. Buena carta y precios muy razonables y la comida, el café es bueno también.
