Me quedé impresionado.

The oldies can still be the best. Lovely atmosphere, stupendous wine list and service of the utmost charm led by the lovely Anne Davidson. Old school at its best and does exactly what it says on the tin. Go before they are no longer there. Defines hospitality.

TLDR: Overpriced, would not recommend, I stayed at the hotel attached for a week on business and ate here only once. Expensive restaurant that's is called steak club but only offers 3 steaks? 2 of which are £36 and the other is a flat iron (braising steak?) For £26? Seems a bit steep for me, but your mileage may vary. I had a pasta dish it was good but not very big with no sides of salad, which was £18, starters and deserts ranging from £9-15 wich again seems a tad steep. Drinks are pricy too at £7 a pint. Overall, I had a mediocre dining experience. The food was good, but the portions were small, and it wasn't anything to write home about. Think a standard meal with a drink or two is gonna set you back £50 per person. Service was good. The staff members were attentive and the food was fast, suspiciously fast actually, table booked for 18:00 food eaten by 18:18 so prepared fresh in say 5mins? Maybe? Question. I suppose at the end of the day, it is what it is : a pretentious restaurant attached to a pretentious hotel. Would I recommend it? No, not at all.

Food wasn't that great beef burger was burnt, vegan bun was very burnt and fries were freezing. Probably the last time I'll order from there.
