Monterey Jack's in Falkirk

Food wasn't that great beef burger was burnt, vegan bun was very burnt and fries were freezing. Probably the last time I'll order from there.

Service was slow due to short staff but they were apologetic. Would have liked to try more cocktails as they were really nice! Had the sharing platter which was really nice! Was fairly quiet for a sat night so not much atmosphere really. Id go back as the staff that were there really did their best and the food and drinks were good!

Got 2 milk shakes and one of them was everywhere in the bag guy never even offered to go back and get a new one it’s a absolute joke hardly spoke English and just walked away if am spending £50 on a meal would like it to be in one piece it’s not hard would have been better getting it my self not happy.

Grant was very good and attentive. Had a lovely meal and he made amazing cocktails which are decently priced.

Husband and I live locally, kept meaning to try here...not disappointed. Our burgers were excellent (bacon and cheese for husband, classic chicken for me) side fries each and a sweet chilli dip. Great service, friendly and efficient. Modern decor, good music and a very tasty meal. We'll be back, thanks.

John was a great host. Made the night special for my son's birthday. Very friendly, professional and got involved in some dancing which was a lovely touch. Food was great, music on point. Thanks for a lovely evening.

We needed somewhere to eat on a Sunday afternoon in Falkirk, which could cater for my wife's gluten intolerance while still offering a good selection of dishes. There was plenty of choice, and Ellie on the waiting team was happy to help check some ingredients with the kitchen to make sure of things. Service was friendly and prompt, and the food was hearty. What more could you want?

Was alright but I got the banana marshmallow sundae thing, there was no sauce , tiniest bit of banana and the marshmallows were not toasted?

I celebrated my 21st at Monterey Jack's, here in Falkirk on October 23rd, 2024. It was also my first time trying Monetary Jack's and they absolutely blew my mind. The food was amazing and big portions, very filling and well worth the money💯. The staff are very welcoming, Gary made my experience with Monterey Jack's such a wonderful experience and the chef Rachel did such an exceptional job with the food and presentation💯. Waiting time for your orders are like 5 minutes, very fast and the food is very hot, lovely to enjoy. I highly recommend the Cherry Cola Slushue Cocktail, so delicious😍...my only downside is that the toilets are very dirty and look like they don't get cleaned....other than that, definitely recommend this restaurant.

The delivery was due at latest 19.19 arrived at 19.39. He called me as he was outside my house. In addition to this, the food was absolutely STONE COLD. This is only the second delivery I’ve had for this reason, but thought I’d try again. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! I’d have been quicker going for dinner in Glasgow and getting back home again. And when I say the food was cold, it was literally as thought it had sat in the back seat of a car for an hour. Serious waste of money eh

First time back since it reopened. Food was great, with healthy portions on the pulled pork & mac fries.

I’m sorry I’m not one to leave bad reviews but the food was awful. The mac and cheese tasted like milky pasta, the chilli fries had no flavour. The burgers were fine. But for £41.44 it was really disappointing. :(

Excellent menu choices. First class service. Gary was friendly, helpful and professional. The chef, Rachel - absolutely brilliant 👏 tasting, well presented meals. We will definitely be returning for burgers, chicken and waffles, cocktails and deserts. Spent about £20 per person.

Great service tonight for dinner. Came in for a family meal, John the waiter took care of us throughout our visit catering to all our needs. Even put a specific song request for our 14 year old - that’s great customer service! The only negative was it is really cold - despite John trying to make it warmer the whole restaurant felt really cold.

As a regular customer of Falkirk restaurants, I can safely say that since coming under new management, Monterey Jacks Falkirk is like.a breath of fresh air, competent and friendly staff make for an extremely enjoyable dining experience, would highly recommend if you're looking for a reasonably upscale dining experience amidst the chain restaurants and cafes prevalent on the Falkirk high street. Rivalled only by sumo in terms of customer service, I thoroughly enjoyed my time and would go again. Thanks again John 🫡

Excellent service from our Server John. Drinks were great, food was even better. Wait time was short for our Meal took 20 minutes max. Would recommend to anyone looking for a tasty bite to eat.

The delivery time kept getting pushed back and by the time the food arrived it was pretty cold. Whilst the food was tasty we did have to reheat it at home once it arrived

The burgers we had were amazing. So delicious and very fresh. We also had the onion rings and chips. Both also amazing. I find onion rings are often very greasy but these ones were not. There wasn't much atmosphere as it was very quiet. It was a Tuesday lunchtime though. The service was really good too. The young lady that served us was very friendly and quick. We will definitely be back.

I wanna preface this by saying the serving and wait staff are incredible ! I will write an honest review, for feedback! I order here a lot because I like the staff and not many people do gluten free but also, when it’s good it’s epic however the quality isn’t consistent. Itis often missing items or I get a plain burger one with burger sauce or just mayo. Today’s burger bun has sauce on the in and outside so it’s just wet- esp as you increased price! who sauces the outside !Your chef is erratic!

Ordered return of the mac, no macaroni on burger just aswell i paid another £6.50 for a size of mac. but that was mostly cheese and a few bits of mushed up pasta through it. Went to eat the burger, bun was soaking with grease and was just sliding apart, burger really pink in middle and also burnt the mouth of me as was covered in chilli’s! which is not in the description. won’t be ordering again

It’s been refurbished to a high standard and we got a warm welcome. I had a chicken burger with sides of fries, onion rings and a sour cream dip. All were excellent. My friend had a steak burger with fries and all the trimmings. Again excellent. The staff couldn’t have been lovelier, very kind, attentive and polite. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The MTV music screens dotted around the rooms are a great idea.

Customer service was fantastic, especially John our server. Food was lovely, all fresh and was quick out after ordering.

Service is good and usually very quick. Get prepared to be asked many times during the meal if you're okay.

over priced for the very disappointing food, £15 for cold chips, cold chicken strips and burnt over cooked mac cheese which no surprise was cold also. very disappointed

came in midweek to ask about a large table for the weekend. was offered the function room and honestly could not be happier. service was amazing and even with a large party there was not one issue with food temperature or quality

My delivery did not include the correct items. The restuarant's response was to blame the delivery driver without offering a genuine solution to help with the missing food that was ordered. Very disappointing. Won't be ordering again.

The food is delish the waiters are lovely ! Sadly I think there is a reason there is no one there both times we went! The portions are tiny ! My partner ordered a pizza and it was ridiculous ! It doesn't state sizes but none expects a microwave size pizza 😂 I got gluten free chicken n chips n granted they went out their way (can't fault the staff at all ) but man it took about 40 mins so we had to order more drinks (clever) n then it was burnt 😂 u gotta laugh but the staff r so nice and the waiter who brought our food looked so embarrassed so we just lied and said everything was great but obv we won't be back ! Sort ya portions out guys people aren't rich ATM and you need the customers ! Also give your waiters pay rises because they're probably the reason people come back x

Where do i start!......im quite sure you dont get served pizza in usa in a cast iron skillet, could be wrong but hey, what do i know, ...i know i dont want a peely wally pizza served in a cast iron skillet, the onion rings nd reg fries were best part of this meal, they magicaly got icecream maker to work, after we poo pood pecan pie, we were there for lunch, no more than 8 peeps in there, dont know how this place is still open,....cant fault the staff, they were fab 😃

Would give this 0/5 but TripAdvisor won't allow it. Slow service, average food which was grossly overpriced and disgusting toilets which reeked to high heaven. Only stayed as my daughter wanted to try their chilli dog. We won't be back.
