The best restaurants serving British food in Scotland

This is a fantastic little cafe. Service is always very good and their snacks and meals are excellent.

Only dog friendly place in town, though no indoor seating

Reservar en línea con suficiente antelación es una necesidad. Cada curso se describe en detalle con ingredientes y dónde se originaron las ideas. All orders freshly made, so no soggy batter to worry about. Also, it was a nice evening, so no problem waiting in the queue, exposed to the weather. However, slightly funny, chemical smell from the fish and chips and a slightly strange taste.

We had one of our best meals of the trip at Sandemans. All of the dishes were delicious, but the whole experience was even better because the sommelier was so knowledgable and took our meal to a whole other level.

What a great place to stop off for lunch. Great welcome, convers and service from Robert who is barman and waiter This is about a far removed from a chain pub with plastic decor and food and fake continental lager as you can get. The home made steak and ale pie was wonderful, served with a generous selection of vegetables and chips - all beautifully cooked and served hot. My wife had the home made mushroom, wholegrain mustard and tarragon soup - possibly the best mushroom soup she's ever tasted - together with a fresh cooked baguette filled with prawns and rose Marie sauce. Three real ales on tap from the Lade Brewery - again superb. There's even a real ale shop on site. Fantastic. Worth the drive from Loch Lomond for the soup alone. Oh, and less expensive than chain pubs as well. Our best food and drink experience this holiday and will definitely visit again in the future.

We decided to pop in for dinner and we got the cheeseburger and the sea bass. Both were amazing. The cheeseburger was one of the best I’ve have for a long while.

Had the best breakfast! Stopped in randomly and was cozy, quick, and great. The lady behind the counter couldn’t have been nicer. Strongly recommend!

We came for a date night while in Glasgow, and this restaurant did not disappoint. The atmosphere was romantic, the service was absolutely next level, and the food was spectacular. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would.

Delicious food - sort of food you'd get in a really fancy restaurant but at a fraction of the price. The students are enthusiastic though some of the serving students are v inexperienced which I guess is what you can expect. I'd go back again and I think it's a great thing to encourage.

Tuvimos un buen paseo desde Edimburgo, a través de Dean Village, así que estábamos listos para una taza y algo de comer. Amazing set of dishes from start to finish Beautifully presented and impeccably balanced amazing ingredients Just way beyond expectations Bravo, it was an absolute privilege to be at this wonderful restaurant. This is the place to drive to from a long way away if you are looking for perfection

Popped in for a bite to eat and a coffee after a good hike and the food.... Unbelievably delicious. The service was something this business can be proud of. The facilities are prestine. Well done and thank you.
