Been before and it's been good. Handy wee stop off food spot. The need to update there website. The prices are all way up in price and the sides are separate. A piece of grilled chicken fillet no veg is £16 the chips on the side £4.50 . The menu online the side was included. Totally ripped off. Had to ask to get are order taken after 20mins. Kids food good Will not be back as so many other places to eat and better food quality and portions.

A brief visit for a coffee and apple pie, both of which were delicious. I've visited here on a number of occasions, usually for breakfast or lunch and always found the food and the staff to be excellent. Today was no exception. The apple pie was offered with cream or custard, hot or cold. The latte was first class as was the service. Welcoming, polite and friendly. Thank you.

Lovely place but the young staff would need to read the menu so they can answer a question and also they don't seem as if they really want to be ther no personally, other than that the food was just Ok for us,, but tha American couple beside us said it was the worst place they have ate in ,,,

I haven’t stayed in an Ibis for years so was pleasantly surprised with this venue. We picked this place because it’s dog friendly. It’s on a retail park so there are a few shops near by and plenty of parking outside On arrival we were greeted by very friendly, polite staff and I found that all the staff I interacted with were the same. I was very impressed with the room, on entering my first thought was ‘stylish’. We spent the evening in the bar, you can bring the dog in but you have to sit in a specific area. Again the staff were polite and friendly. We had breakfast included in our booking so the next morning we went into the bar where it’s served. Once again we were greeted by polite and friendly staff. Breakfast was tasty and filling. Overall a nice stay and a good sleep.

This Review relates to the Portstewart location only - can’t find a separate listing for it on TA Experience as follows: Entered - smoky/ poor ventilation - coming from kitchen area Noisy - lots of noise (plates etc) from open kitchen area competing with the music and people trying to talk over both Cold (arrived 9:30 am - would have expected to be warmer by then) Expensive - but then most things on North Coast are Scones - limited variety. Not fresh. Covered in a sugar glaze. Excuses - sorry we have run out of jam. Went back to kitchen area to ask if had any marmalade instead? No. ‘But you are serving scones and toast’? Response - It’s very busy this time of year. My response - that’s why you plan for it. It should have been a single star. But it’s Christmas

The food here is really awful, they use cheap cuts of meat but charge the same as other restaurants that provide good quality meat. Returned sirloin steak as it was substandard, it resembled frying steak rather that sirloin- thin, chewy and tough- definitely could not justify £18.95. I chose the burger as a replacement for the ‘sirloin’ unfortunately the quality was also poor, have had much better burgers from chip shops- thin, over processed, cheap meat & really bland. My partner had the rump streak, marginally better than the ‘sirloin’ but to be honest I’ve purchased more substantial steaks from Tesco at £3.50 each. The staff were pleasant and helpful, but because of the unacceptable standard of the food we definitely won’t be returning.

So so sorry to hear you are closing - your soups, your fresh sandwiches were amazing! I hope that circumstances change and you find a way to open again. You will be missed from the town.

We ate here as the place we had intended to eat at was closed. There was a specials menu ranging from expensive roast dinners to cajun wraps. Nothing suitable for vegetarians. I asked if they had anything veggie and was met with a blank stare. I opted for a scone (a whole scone for lunch) which was rock hard. The server swapped it for another one, which was less hard as it had been semi heated. The other diners had paninis which seemed to be OK. Disappointing visit however the server was probably the friendliest person you'll ever meet.
