So so sorry to hear you are closing - your soups, your fresh sandwiches were amazing! I hope that circumstances change and you find a way to open again. You will be missed from the town.

What a gem of a cafe. I don’t know Coleraine so pleasantly surprised at this little cafe up a side street from the central square. Lots of home made buns cakes and great food . Great place for groups as large table at the back or lounge in a soft seat at the window . Well worth a visit

Several tables had trays of cups and plates on them , and still did whole time we had coffee there, approx 15mins....we were in the queue of ourselves and a younger couple behind us...the server says to the young couple " are you next" ..the young girl says no they are ( because we were in front of them)...."what do you want?"....(how may I help you would have been nice)...2 coffees please..."is that it?"....we got 2 buns also..."is that it now?"....I got the impression we were more of a hinderence instead of paying customers....the coffee itself was nice....the service or lack of it let the place down....won't be back and I wish I had read the other review on here...

Mat coming in front door is filthy. The window at the front there is a space and is covered in mould. Bleach wouldn’t go amiss. On the positive the coffee is good

Sister and I decided to take our first trip here for lunch, despite it being in town we've never been. Great food and great prices. Service is fantastic. Will definitely be back.

This is a great place to get a bite of breakfast. The food is really lovely and there is usually a nice buzz and staff are lovely.

In busy prime location. Good variety of seating. Good lunch menu. Had toasted sandwiches which lacked filling. Plate was nicely garnished. Grossly overpriced for quality. Good coffee stop but not lunch.

First time here, just ordered a latte, it was top class, my wife said her scone and tea, were excellent. We will be back, probably today for a bite.A lovely relaxed area of seating,lovely salad bar,simply excellent and friendly too.

Wholesome food, good seating, excellent service. Naughty treats! A very pleasant cafe well located near the shops.

Have been going to Martha’s now for quite a while my treat every Saturday my husband goes in every Friday as well we love it .staff very pleasant although with going in so often they not over friendly!!!

Everything is freshly made and well presented. Lovely"soup and sandwich" deals, a good salad bar for mixing and matching a salad plate to your taste, and great club sandwiches.

A regular for us. Clean, comfortable and friendly. So reasonably priced too. Lovely home bakes and cafe style menu. Lovely for breakfast

Always go here for coffees with friends and family. So much nicer than some of the coffee chains in the town.

There is a lovely homely feel as soon as you walk through the door here. The decor is simple but nice. Ample seating for singles, couples, or groups of people. Comfy sofas by the windows or a booth if you prefer. Staff are very friendly, helpful and professional.Good selection of traybakes. Although disappointed that at 2.30pm on a Saturday they had no scones left (everyone raves about them and was hoping to try them out!)Nice coffee. 2 large cappuccinos and 2 traybakes came to £8.75 which was reasonable. Buns on the dry side for me but still tasty.I think supporting local and family businesses is so important these days. Will def be back to sample some more grub

Martha's is heads & shoulders above other eateries in Coleraine as a whole. The staff are excellent. The food and coffee is fresh and delicious!

Fancy great food & great hot drinks in a good relaxed atmosphere? Fancy a place with character that isn't another chain but has the staff and the snacks to woo you? Then get in here and just escape for an interval in cafe freedom.

Have been a frequent customer here for many years now. It always serves lovely food, as well as having good service and relaxed atmosphere. Whilst shopping in Coleraine I would normally call in here with friends and get lunch. The Cajun Chicken sandwiches especially are so tasty! The cupcakes are also delightful! Will definitely continue to visit here!

Usually go in here for a yummy hot chocolate on a Saturday afternoon, Nephews enjoy the chicken wraps.

I've no problem with the service which is friendly and efficient, and the premises are comfortable and lively (if a little dark), but there can be no excuse for the insipid, tasteless coffee they serve. I'm really fed up shelling out hard-earned cash for the watery brew provided in many of Coleraine's so-called coffee shops. The mark-up and profit margins on the humble cup of coffee are truly fantastic, so with SMALL americanos priced at £2:20 (and SMALL traybakes nearly £2) please have some respect for your customers and darken the water with a bit more caffeine.

Stopped here for a wee cuppa n a scone on a wet Saturday afternoon....polite staff, no waiting in queue, quick service, lovely coffee n a very tasypty Apple scone. Got a nice seat by the window to watch the world go by.

Myself and my mum call in here when in the town. Their raspberry and white chocolate scones are gorgeous, especially when just out of the oven. The hot chocolate is good too. There's a lot of coffee shops in Coleraine but this is by far the best and not too pricy!

We call in here every time that we visit Coleraine. The food,staff and ambience are second to none. SEe would thoroughly recommend it.

love this place, so laid back, food awesome, Been loads of time, some places you go to, just dont have time for you, this wee place is great, love their coffee and handmade sandwiches and wraps, staff always smiling and askn if everything is okay

We stopped in for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. It was just my son and I, we both had sandwiches (toastie & club). They where made freshly and tasted good, service was quick and efficient and the place appears spotlessly clean.

Not a great variety of food on offer. Had a scone which was nothing special. Not sure I would go back. Overpriced. Need to rethink the lunch menu.

Pleasant surroundings with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Would recommend for snack or coffee. A good place to unwind and relax after a shopping spree.

Have called here a few times and I have always found the food and service very good. The scones are excellent. So too is the soup, pannis and sandwiches. Lovely place and friendly helpful staff. Keep up the good work.

Soy un habitual en esta cafetería, principalmente porque sirven los mejores bollos en Coleraine. Su café es también de primera categoría, no demasiado fuertes, como algunas de las cadenas hoteleras más conocida de tiendas de café. Otro lugar favorito son los sándwiches tostados, muy sabroso y con patatas fritas y ensalada en el lateral. Tienen una tarjeta de fidelización así normalmente un café gratis una vez al mes.

Pude comprar razonable para llevar a mis hijos, pero ofreció poco en la manera de gluten a menos que quería un 'horneados 'patatas. Acabé con nada pero un insípido café.

Wife and I had the Caesar salad for lunch. Friendly, helpful staff, good sized portions with loads of meat. Fresh, tasty ingredients. Good value in a relaxed, yet busy environment.

If you want a lunch time snack or coffee break with friends then this is the place. Good food, good coffee and good service.

Popped in today to get a quick coffee & snack at lunch time. Staff were attentive but behind the counter were at least two others chatting together and eating, paying no attention to customers. My coffee & scone were average. Everywhere is dark and dreary - cheerless in fact. I don't think I will be paying a return visit.

We have lunch in Martha's a few times a month. They have a good range of choice for lunch and the servings are quite generous. I enjoy the toasties especially and the tray bakes are lovely too.

Martha House is one of our favourite coffee shops in Coleraine, it is clean, the food and coffee is good and the staff are very friendly. My only wish would be that a dressing could be added to the side salad.

The service staff were good and offered to take my coffee to the table while I got my son sorted from his pushchair. The coffee was a good quality and the tray bake nicely presented. Thanks

I popped in to this restaurant; having just bought some steaks from my favourite Coleraine butcher's shop opposite Martha's. I'm a big coffee fan and I'm confident I would pass any barista test. I had not been to this restaurant before, but I hope to return. I was impressed with the coffee, and the price. I'm aware of the blend that the house is using and it's not surprising it costs a little more than what some may consider 'normal' The restaurant was clean, tidy and the staff were friendly. I liked the ambience of the restaurant and feel it's a nice place for chilling. The food looked good, but I did not have any on this occasion. I intend to eat there in the near future. If the staff remain friendly, efficient and customer aware then this wee spot should not fear the many competitors within the town. Bob the Barista wishes the business well because he feels it deserves to do well.

we went into martha's house for lunch it was tasty and affordable. the cafe itself was very clean and had a cosy warm atmosphere just what you need on a wet and windy day. the staff were friendly and we received or oreder fast and with a smile

My friend and I and our young babies went here for a late lunch this week. When we arrived there were a few people in the cafe but it was in no way busy. I noticed straight away that the staff were all congregated behind the counter chatting. Having stood for a few minutes waiting on someone coming to take my order, a young girl reluctantly prized herself away from her colleagues making me feel like I was imposing instead of being a paying customer for a service that was meant to be being provided!!! Anyway we got our drinks and the food was brought down to our table. The food itself was grand but as usual, always a little over priced for what you're getting. There seemed to be a general lack of interest with the staff today, with dirty tables being left uncleared or cleaned which is disappointing as I normally bring my children here on a regular basis for a treat and we are always happy with both the staff and service. This experience has made me re-consider where I go for my next treat with the children.......after all Coleraine is coming down with cafés. Unfortunately this time I chose wrong! Very disappointed Martha's! :(

Love love love Martha's House! Lovely coffee, the most beautiful fresh homemade food and treats, great atmosphere, happy staff and fab value for money! Family friendly too! Wouldn't go anywhere else!

Wonderful coffee shop with great club sandwiches. My wife particularly enjoyed the brie, cranberry and bacon panini- the best she has ever had. My daughter and I loved the rocky road too

There are so many to choose from in Coleraine. This one is popular and not too expensive or trying to be something it isn't. Pleasant food and drink in a convenient central location. Even though there is a set menu you can mix and match to your preference.

Preferred this restaurant when it was in Queen Street although they do provide the same good food and service . The ambiance just is not as good

Very ordinary place and small menu. There are lots of better options nearby from Roccos for the better environment and wider menu to the Big O for a great fry!

Every time I've been here the staff are more than courteous, the place is spotless and the atmosphere is great.

ive been here twice now because i like to allow for people to have an 'off' day but i was right the first time roundthe sandwiches r really nice and fresh but that;s as far as it goes!twice my tea cup has had dribble marks from a previous customer, the cutlery was dirty and the table wasn't cleared on one occasion so we just sat there with our food and drinks, and the dirty dishes! it wasnt as if the staff were too busy because there was 4 staff, loads of dirty tables and they were all gathered arond the till gossipingmarthas is a very pretentious little coffee shop which is a shame because the place itself is gorgeous but the staff and food lack inspiration

What can I say? Terrible food, terrible service, extortionate prices! Spend your hard earned money somewhere else

Nice coffee shop with sandwiches etc. Prices on the high side. Upstairs so not suitable for everyone.
