A nice hotel. With also nice staff. The restaurant opposite is also the “breakfast” for the hotel. The room is cozy, there are 2 single beds and a large bed. The beds are nice and soft and comfortable. There is enough storage space for all things. The bedside tables are small. The bathroom is nicely decorated, but the shower/bathtub is strange, it makes a constant beeping sound when you want to let water in. There are also strange water drops or stains on the bathroom wall, which are probably caused by the humidity in the bathroom. Sometimes the air conditioning just turns on without you turning it on. But generally a good hotel.

Well located, there are various shopping opportunities and fast food restaurants nearby. The room was very good, I think it was positive that part of the window could be tilted. Unfortunately the water system made strange noises when you showered. The staff was almost universally nice, except for one young gentleman who didn't offer a smile, hello or goodbye. Completely misplaced for the front counter.

We stayed at the Ibis Riverside Coleraine with our Ladies choir from North Devon on Friday the 27th Oct for three nights. The staff were excellent, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble also they were very accommodating when we sang some songs in the bar. The breakfasts and dinner we had at the hotel were excellent as were Danielle and Erin our waitresses. The barman and the two ladies on the reception were also very helpful. Needless to say if we ever needed to stay in Coleraine we would definitely stay at this hotel and recommend to others

Stayed for 7 days and enjoyed the experience. The hotels is well equipped, the restaurant is top notch, if not a little more prices than I was expecting and the staff were all extremely helpful. The doors don't keep out too much noise (on one weekend night, I heard someone on the floor having a *very* good night) and housekeeping is a little enthusiastic, which, while not to my taste means the room is reset each day with tea, coffee, a made bed and fresh towels if left on the floor.

My wife and I went for a meal here. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food however was terrible. My wife’s main course was dry and my meal, a Thai green curry, barely had any chicken and a watery sauce. The bowls that’s served our mains were so hot they must have come straight out of a microwave. I would recommend you spend your hard earned cash elsewhere.

It was very clean but the bathtub had brown stains. Looked very disgusting. But don't let yourself be brushed off. The rooms are very loud. You can hear the trampling of the guests from above and from the side. The rooms had an intermediate door to another room. This was not very noise insulated.

One of the frendliest hotels ever visited. The IBIS hotel Coleraine is inside a shopping centre. The lobby is cute and small but the rooms are fantastic looks like recently renovated. No smoke smell experienced. The rooms are large convenient and comfy beds. The breakfast has very good vegetarian options. Nice juices fruits & coffees ☕️. The staff are very nice & friendly. The hotel is very safe as we need a card to enter the hotel corridor and lift. The hotel.has its own restaurant and bar. Its also surrounded by lot of eateries like Burger king McDonalds Nandos etc. Sainburys Marks & Spencers & Lidl in close proximity of 1min. Its close to Portrush Giants Causeway Dark Hedges etc., Recommended 5*.

Very convenient hotel in the area to be able to visit all the most interesting and famous places on the coast. Large and spacious rooms with everything, simple and nice. Very kind staff, possibility to have breakfast and dinner on site. We only took breakfast which for around 10 pounds was the best choice, an all-you-can-eat international part and a freshly prepared hot continental breakfast of your choice. Everything was excellent, we had dinner directly after a similar super breakfast. Parking available outside.

Really strong smell of renovation, both furniture and paint. Not a good location for solo travellers, because it is really far away from the town central bus and train station. If you only go to giant's causeway, you'd better back to Belfast, return day train ticket is cheap. After the usual very comfortable night at a Premier inn and this one being in Coleraine, the adjacent pub/restaurant provided the breakfast. Further to my recent comment when we ate in this excuse for a restaurant on Sunday 1st May, having our order taken at 13.25 hrs. My father had originally ordered the roast beef "Sunday lunch". My mother had ordered the roast turkey "Sunday lunch". Approximately 7 minutes later the server Karina (5137) came back to tell my father that they had no roast beef left so he had to take the "turkey" excuse for a roast dinner. I have contacted Table Table Head Office in Luton, (part of the Whitbread group). I have left truthful feedback on the Table Table facebook page also. AVOID!! I apologise in my previous comment, the NW 200 is not next weekend but in a fortnights time. If senior Management in Luton, England don't come over to sort out this useless restaurant then it will soon close. We are very lucky in this part of the world to have so many good, decent eating establishments. Table table is certainly not one of them. They are in the gutter. See their reviews, 17 terrible, 11 poor and 13 average. You can fool some of the people some of the time but not all of the people all of the time.

Visited here today with my husband. For the first time in my life I was so disgusted with my meal that I sent the food back. The cod I had ordered was yellow instead of white as it had absorbed so much oil. The mushy peas were incredibly dry and powdery, totally inedible. Only ate a little piece of the fish and I have never felt so sick. The waiting staff where nice about it but that didn't make up for how ill I felt. In my opinion, over priced poor quality food.

When arrived we where seated straight away, very dark eating area thought and not a lot of light, and nobody at the table could get connected to the free wifi as we were seated in a back corner. Food arrived after 20 mins or so, my granny first noticed her quiche was burned at the base, this is due to it being re-heated and cooked time again. That was fine, a young waiter came down as asked was everything ok and she mentioned the quiche, he suggested she could get a new one but by the time that would have arrived the rest of us would have been finished our meal so she declined. She then went to eat her potatoes and inside had black bits and she couldn't eat them. Myself, my boyfriends and my mothers food was all fine though. We went to pay and the lady who was serving us was very rude, she suggested that my granny should have said when the waiter came down but she didn't see the potatoes at this point. She was reluctant to not charge her for the meal but since every part of her meal was ruined my granny was not for paying. Prices are very steep for what it is and we will not be rushing back.

The service was terrible . Our waitress seemed interested until she got our order then proceeded to ignore us for rest of our visit she reappeared when we had finished our meals and had already went to bar to ask for bill for the third time . The service was extremely slow we had to wait 35 minutes from we had ordered till the food appeared and then we sat with the dirty dishes in front of us for what seemed an eternity . Then when we ordered dessert we had to wait 20 minutes for it to arrive . The bill at the end was we felt very steep as the food was not of a high enough standard to warrant those high prices . We were actually charged for extra orange which we hadn't ordered but was by our waitress's own admission her own mistake . I've ate there before with the kids which seemed ok but when I suggested having our dinner there to my partner both myself and him were extremely let down and disappointed with every aspect of our visit and I was left feeling embarrassed that I'd suggested TableTable in the first place to him . This ranged from the extremely slow service to the food which lets be frank wouldn't have looked out of place in the likes of McDonald's Burger King or such a place . And as for the prices rip off is all I can say will definitely not be through the doors again and WILL NOT recommend it to anyone friends or family .

Visited this establishment a fortnight ago, having given it a miss for eighteen months because of the quality of the chips which had accompanied my choice of meal. My complaint at that time seemed to fall on deaf ears, the server said that they were just the same as they always were, so I just did not eat them. On the visit two weeks ago I was pleased to see that they now had an option of "Skinny Cut Fries" so I ordered the Fish and Chip meal with the chip option of the Skinny Cut variety. The Batter on the fish was fantastic, the fish was cooked to perfection and the Skinny Cut Fries were dry and crispy....just perfect....what a turnaround.Today...2 weeks later I visited again and how I regret ordering the same meal that I had two weeks previously...The Batter on the fish was burnt although the fish itself was perfect, the Skinny Cut Fries on this occasion were quite "greasy" and only partially crisp.......again what a turnaround. We ordered standard coffees and were somewhat surprised by the spoons which came with them......see picture. Needless to say it might be another eighteen months before I pay another visit to this establishment, or if I do visit I will steer clear of their fish and chip options..

We were staying in the adjoining Premier Inn,Coleraine. As the Inn has no restaurant itself, food is served in the Riverside. Staff are friendly, courteous, efficient. They cater for the 'breakfast' part of hotel guests. It is a self service buffet with hot food orders taken at the table. Brakfast is good but their lunch and dinners are superior to it.We had an evening meal on our first night. They have a great kids menu, it offers wide choices, mix and match, add a starter or dessert for an extra $1, etc. great value indeed. For adults, the menu variety was as good with value added meals for 2, add a bottle of wine, etc. The food was excellent, so much so that our picky eaters had seconds of their pasta dish and extra chicken. You must try their dessert variety "tasting plate", we ordered both options so had all 6 desserts on the menu for €10.98. The staff were very friendly and effiient, we tipped them well as they deserved it. Loved this place so much we came back 4 days later after completing our tour of the beautiful Northern Ireland coastline.

My favourite dining venue in the area. Can’t recommend the service & quality of this establishment enough. Great food, good portions & friendly staff. My only criticism is that myself & my friends would prefer to dine in the restaurant for its ambience, etc., than in the bistro, but despite requesting this while booking, we frequently are seated in the bistro. While the menu & meals are the same in quality & price, surely if the restaurant is requested, it should be honoured!

This Review relates to the Portstewart location only - can’t find a separate listing for it on TA Experience as follows: Entered - smoky/ poor ventilation - coming from kitchen area Noisy - lots of noise (plates etc) from open kitchen area competing with the music and people trying to talk over both Cold (arrived 9:30 am - would have expected to be warmer by then) Expensive - but then most things on North Coast are Scones - limited variety. Not fresh. Covered in a sugar glaze. Excuses - sorry we have run out of jam. Went back to kitchen area to ask if had any marmalade instead? No. ‘But you are serving scones and toast’? Response - It’s very busy this time of year. My response - that’s why you plan for it. It should have been a single star. But it’s Christmas

We spent one night at the Port Hotel as we were visiting family in the area and heading to the Giant's Causeway. Location is good, not a far drive from the Causeway with decent restaurants nearby. Staff at the front desk and in the restaurant were friendly. The beds unfortunately were very uncomfortable.. lumpy and badly in need of updating. The hotel vibe is cute and quaint, okay for one night, but wouldn't spend a second night.
