My favourite dining venue in the area. Can’t recommend the service & quality of this establishment enough. Great food, good portions & friendly staff. My only criticism is that myself & my friends would prefer to dine in the restaurant for its ambience,etc., than in the bistro, but despite requesting this while booking, we frequently are seated in the bistro. While the menu & meals are the same in quality & price, surely if the restaurant is requested, it should be honoured!

Mixed review. Dined here twice in a week. First evening our meal was delicious , staff were very friendly and helpful. Our second meal was not really eatable . I’d ordered a side salad which was just a bowl of leaves. There seemed to be a lot of young staff who seemed unsure of the menu- had to ask in the kitchen a couple of times. Def, if this had been our meal on our first evening, we wouldn’t have returned.

We called in at this restaurant as heard it was nice, service was just ok, had to ask for a drink, ordered food, the menu has a great choice, food was not good, over cooked & quite hard to eat, I had chicken which was very dry & hard to cut, partner had fish which has been overdone to the point where he couldn’t cut it, chips were overdone too, fist time visiting this restaurant & it will be the last, would rather go to chippy!

I have thought long & hard before deciding to write this review on this public domain. Having worked in hospitality for over 20 years and dined in restaurants all over the world, I was extremely shocked to witness a senior staff member berating a member of our party just because he criticised her. Carol appeared on the scene in the midst of her team members serving the main courses to our party. She decided that service needed to be quicker. She started taking the plates of food from her servers & proceeded to shout 'Burger', etc. It suddenly felt like we were in a fast food joint & she was calling the ticket number. She didn't set the plates down either. The plates were like frisbees being thrown across the table. I was about to say something as I felt it was totally unnecessary and unprofessional but I didn't want to cause a scene in front of the host. A few seconds later, there were raised voices at the other end of table. A male member of our party was asking Carol to be more careful when setting food down. We had all witnessed how she had been throwing the plates down onto the table but he was the only one brave enough to say something. Carol, instead of apologising, called him a very rude man before disappearing. He told us that he had bit his tongue holding back but he had to say something when she continued to slam dunk plated food onto the table. The host who had missed the whole incident asked what had happened. When she realised that Carol had been throwing the food down onto our table, she went to speak to her. Carol's excuse was that her hand had slipped but we know that was not the case as this happened at least 4 times! Needless to say Carol never showed her face for the rest of the evening. Her unnecessary interference and how she handled the aftermath marred what was supposed to be a nice relaxing family celebration. I can't fault the rest of the staff that evening. They were all so polite, attentive and friendly....& dare I say it much more relaxed after Carol had left the scene. The Cromore is popular with locals & visitors alike and their Bistro menu caters for all tastes. However, following my experience, I won't be in a hurry to return.

Best food in the whole triangle, great portion sizes & fantastic food - yes you have other restaurants in the area that are maybe the ‘place to be’ but the food does not come close to here - staff are always lovely can’t fault it!

Last minute booking for a large group we were looked after from arrival. Food was excellent served on time. Good portion sizes. 5* all around. Based on my experience I would highly recommend and would certainly return when next in the area.

We are here for Sunday lunch and I just want to say that the food was gorgeous roast lamb was absolutely delicious melt in the mouth. Well worth a visit.

Always enjoy Cromore Halt even well they were over booked, owner and staff still maintained their great quality. A local so always like to support local business.

We had a lovely meal in Cromore, first visit and starters were good size, i had nachos and husband had mushrooms, my main was gammon which was delicious and husband had peppered steak, service was good and comfortable seating too, we will be back

Family of eleven . Food was very good and the staff very friendly. Would certainly return and can recommend. Also reasonably priced and very popular.

We had a lovely meal. We travelled from Newtownards to go to the Cromore Halt. The service was great. Friendly staff. My dessert was the nicest I think I have ever had. I almost asked for a portion to take home. We will definitely be back the next time we are up.

Birthday meal ruined!!!!! Went here for my partners birthday. The service was awful from the moment we arrived. We had to ask 4 times if we could order. Our drinks never arrived and we had to go up to the bar and get them for ourselves. Starter arrived and we still hadn't any cutlery. Mains were poor, steak was over cooked and tough. Totally unacceptable. Won't be back.

We were a group of 4. All meals were excellent and thoroughly enjoyed. Service was efficient even though the restaurant was full, and very friendly. There was no pressure to leave after the meal and we were able to sit on and chat . Very enjoyable experience.

Two Sea Bass,two battered cod.Food arrived in less than ten minutes.I had the Sea Bass which was overcooked.Friends had the battered cod,they weren't impressed.Food wasn't nice, I'm sorry to say.

Cromore Halt food is second to none..we shared 2 starters..garlic mushrooms and spicy chicken wings..both very tasty..I had arizona chicken and garlic fries..hubby had steak with chill sour cream fries..very generous portions and delicious..the house white is very good..cromore have a very extensive menu and it is well priced..staff all lovely and very efficient..can't wait to go back..highly recommend.

I had prebooked a table for 7pm. We waiting over an hour before our food came. I had to ask for it twice. This is the second time this has happened. Why take so many bookings if the kitchen cannot cope? This is a shame since the food is really good. Not sure I have the patience to return.

Visited for Sunday lunch with family. Staff friendly and attentive. Surroundings pleasant. Food was truly excellent and enjoyed by all. Possibility the best Sunday lunch we have had. Will definitely visit again.

It wasn't awful....the food was actually ok but it smells like a greasy fish and chip shop and the surroundings are tired and grubby. We had a terrible table right in the middle of the floor, it was like a booth in a diner but was in a row going up the centre with people passing us on both sides. Cromore Halt used to be a lovely intimate restaurant, beautiful surroundings and very classy, now it's like a burger joint...WHAT HAPPENED?????

Everything about this dining experience was first class. From friendly staff who couldn't do enough for us to the fantastic food which was served on hot plates (something which is lacking in most eateries nowadays). The dessert was also superb....and homemade!!! Comfortable seating and overall...

Arrived at 6:25 on 19th August and had to queue in hallway despite having made a reservation for 6:30. When we got into the restaurant, the lady "hosting" seemed totally disorganized which explained the buildup in the hallway! She took our name and then spoke...

Have to say I was very disappointed with the service at a visit to the restaurant yesterday evening. Had to wait 30 minutes for bar staff to take drinks order, then repeatedly ask a member of staff when wanting to place another order and wait...

Arrived on Sunday 30th May at 6.55pm for 7pm reservation. Stood in hallway, had family with me including my 88 year old Mum with about 12 other people waiting to be served. Waited until 7.20pm without any staff member coming to see us. One group...

We stayed across the road at California Lodges and ate here 2 nights in a row. The food was great, well priced and the staff were on the ball. Covid is making things difficult but this team are so switched on you won't notice it....

Good restaurant situated on the outskirts of Portstewart. Easily missed if you aren't aware of location. Food is good quality and large portions. We had a mix of steak, chicken and fish dishes. All very good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Well wrth a visit.

Post lockdown we were looking forward to our meal out in our usual restaurant. Tonight was altogether a different experience for all the wrong reasons. My husband and and I ordered a bottle of wine and the children 3 fizzy drinks. I asked for an additional jug/ glasses of tap water. I was refused on the basis that the water was not yet tested. This despite the ice machines , cooking facilities and accommodation are all functioning and open for business. It was blatant exploitation of customers.

Social distancing measures and customer safety was excellent, felt very safe. The best we have been in all week in Portrush/Portstewart 👍 Staff and food were also top notch,made to feel very welcome.

First time back since the lockdown. Perfect. Felt completely safe. They couldn’t have done more to welcome us all back. Brilliant staff as always. Brilliant food as always. Back next week, as always

Food is good. However, we presented a gift voucher in payment and were told we had to use the full value or lose the remainder of the gift value.

Really looking forward to dinner tonight in cromore halt. Placed our order which was starters and main course only to wait an hour and then be told we are not getting any starters as it was too late because they said one of the girls thought it was a double docket whatever that meant. Bad excuse as the table to our left waited 50 minutes and the table to our right left as they had waited a long time aswell. Left without eating and a measly sorry by a young waitress not even an offer of a drink for our wasted night. Ended up eating a chippy at 10pm. Thanks cromore halt for the top notch service (not).

Busy restaurant even midweek, although they open up next door to accommodate more covers... But this clearly stretches the staff. Food was ok, restaurant clean, service was a bit slow and had to liberate cutlery ourselves when the food came. Clearly popular with older clientele but also easy going with young families.

We ate in the bar rather than the resaurant itself .the staff were freindly and very helpful .Menu was varied but could do with a few more vegitable options rather than different types of potatoes and chips.

We came here for Sunday Lunch and made use of their main course only special offer. The food was delicious and we definitely would go back. The only thing to watch out for is they tend to be busy for Sunday Lunch so you should book in advance, We didn't but luckily they had 1 table left.

Stopped for an evening meal here recently and had a good meal with loads of fresh ingredients and at a very competitive price.The wait to have the order taken and then the wait for the food to be brought to the table was a little bit long but the resturant was very busy that night. An enjoyable night out.

Recommended by local family members, who had been eating there for many years. I found the bar and meal good and the staff friendly. I was very satisfied and left happy. However when I told our inn keeper where we had eaten he was disappointed that we had not eaten the best of the growing list of extraordinary restaurants now open in Portstewart. He said old timers (like our family) still like Cromore Halt because they just keep going to the same place, but there are much better places in town. Ask around.

It's some years since we stayed and dined at the Cromore, but we were very pleased to find that the food was still really good, perhaps even better than before. Everyone in our party of six loved their meal and my sirloin was delicious. Service was friendly and attentive. Prices, including the wine list, were reasonable and our dinner represented good value all round. Recommended.

Had a great meal with my parents. The foods solid quality and well cooked. Menu isn’t too adventurous but the meals were all very tasty. Only disadvantage was the room was rather warm but that’s partially due to visiting on a particularly hot dayClientele is of the older generation like my parents

All staff have that pleasant north coast warmth that makes you feel very welcome. Food is good, generous portions and reasonably priced. Happy to return and recommend.

My wife and I visited the Cromore recently for our tea and, as always, we were well pleased with the quality of the food, the quantity, the presentation and the cost. The staff are second to none. Yesterday I went in the evening for a coffee and it was a barrister’s delight and very good value. The lass (Judith?) preparing and serving the coffee was a lovely girl - professional, friendly, courteous and a real credit to N.I.’s travel and tourism industry - and the Inn. I then had a whiskey and it too was good value. Carol, the owner, took time out to say hello to me - a nice touch. I love the place and have no hesitation recommending it to locals and tourists alike.

Used to come here a lot, but haven't been for several years. Everything still feels the same and the same great quality of food and helpful staff.

I had forgot just how good the food is here at reasonable prices for the excellent quality. Large portions so you won’t be hungry leaving this restaurant. Starters are filling, mains are the best served locally. To finish if you have any room are not basis they are home made with a different selection every visit. Staff are friendly and helpful. The place of good food. Well done.

I took my disabled mother for an overnight stay and we were delighted at the room we were given.Spaceous, clean with very comfortable beds and pillows.The service was extremely good in particular Maureen made my mother and I feel very welcome.i would recommend the restaurant as the food was delicious.I would definately go back as the location is convenient with easy accessible parking.

First time eating here in many years, booked a table so was seated right away. Drinks order taken but took forver to be served and water was requested 3 times before it arrived. Menu choices were ok, served up some amazing tasting food which was fab. Dessert unfortunately was a different story. Very poor. Service was slow considering it didn't seem overly busy. Reasonable food, limited bar, slow service.

My husband and I visited Cromore Halt bistro on Saturday night. We had booked at table for 8pm and on arrival were asked to wait for a table, despite having booked. We got to the table and noticed that very few others had food on their tables, it seemed like everyone was waiting for their meals to arrive. We sat a while longer and were given menus. Although, a couple of tables around us seemed to become a little disgruntled as they had been sitting for a least 10/15 minutes without being given a menu. We waited a while longer, with no-one coming to take our order, so I had to ask for our order to be taken. At the same time we had to ask for our drinks order to be taken, with this normally happening when you are led to your table. All we ordered was a main course and 50 minutes after ordering, there was still no sign of our food. The couple beside us were in the same position but had ordered after us and we began talking about how slow it was and questioning why our food wasn't on the table. The lady beside us went to enquiry about her food and 5 minutes later their meal was served. We, however still had nothing in front of us, despite having ordered before the couple beside us and 3 other couples who had also received their meals before us, but ordered after. I got up to enquiry about where our food was and was told it would be coming soon. 1 hour and 20 minutes following arrival at Cromore Halt, we FINALLY had our only course on the table. Really not good enough, the restaurant seemed understaffed and poorly managed. Really disappointing experience as the food was delicious when it finally came. Unfortunately we didn't even get to taste the desserts, which I'm sure were lovely, as we had no desire to wait another 20 minutes to be given a dessert menu and another 30 minutes for the dessert to be served! :(

We visited this restaurant because it was closed by to our accommodation, hoping it was ok. What an incredible surprise - it wasn’t just ok, it was absolutely fabulous!!!!When we walked in, we noticed a delicious smell of seafood so we decided to go for the seafood chowder and salmon dishes - both were spectacular! Fresh, delicious and generous portions.My son ordered the pasta with chicken and bacon and it was beautiful. Unlike in many restaurants, here the kids food is of quality - the chicken was a proper grilled breast of chicken and the bacon a proper rasher.Price was very reasonable and service excellent. An absolute gem and highly recommended!

Had lunch here last week and it was delicious. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the service was of a high standard. The menu has a great variety and isnt badly priced. Will definitely be back here again!

Superb steak, in beautiful relaxed surroundings, with first class service. What more could you ask for?

We are now very regular visitors to the Cormore Halt. Staff are super friendly, in a good genuine way and the food is always excellent. Well presented, good portions, tasty and hot! The menu is really good and the choices are super. We always enjoy our nights here and really like the ‘trad’ music evenings on the last Friday of every month. A nice family friendly place and so much better than some of the other places in neighbouring Portrush who serve mediocre food at fast food speed and lack great service. If you haven’t been, give it a try. The nachos to start are a treat for the tastebuds. Desserts and speciality coffees are super too!!!

Called in to the Bistro on Saturday evening for something to eat.Bistro was pretty busy and we were prepared for a bit of a wait but the waitress found us a table within a couple of minutes.Plenty of choice on the menu. Waitress Kirsty was well able to assist with all our food questions. Food was piping hot. And was fairly quick to arrive.3 different waiting staff asked us at regular intervals if we were ok for drinks.Dessert choice was excellent. We ordered the Lime & Coconut Roulade and the Strawberry Pavlova.Wow......when they say home-made, this really was. A generous portion of each. And both were absolutely beautiful.No such thing as a defrosted, mass-produced pudding in this establishment.I reckon the last time I had eaten in here was maybe 8 or 9 years ago. Shame on me. Great parking. Accomodating attentive staff. Fantastic food. Reasonably priced. I'll definitely be giving here another outing withing the next 4 or 5 weeks.

Visited this restaurant for the second time with the in laws on Saturday evening. Great service from very pleasant waitresses. I had the seafood pie - very large portion and excellent! Also highly recommend the roasted cod. Desserts are fab too - we had the apple crumble. Good disabled access with regards to parking. Reasonably priced.

lovely food. nicely sized meals for both kids and adults. no need for starters to be honest. the staff were very friendly and service was quick. 64 pounds for a meal for 4 with beverages and desserts included. we would repeat defo.

This was our first visit to Ireland and our first restaurant. Taken by friends for lunch. An amazing selection of fish. Beautifully cooked and so fresh.Good choice of wines as well. Highly recommend a walk along the wonderful beach afterwards. The parking is free on the beach for NT members.

Visited here last week at lunchtime looking a lite snack. We were told there was only the set lunch menu and we couldnt even have a sandwich...we as for sugar free juice as we had a tyoe one diabetic little person with us... they didnt know wether it was sugar free or not.... definetely wouldnt be in a rush back

We had a great family meal one night when over in Portstewart in the summer; Cromore was recommended to us by relatives. The location seems a bit random for a seaside town but if you can manage one meal without a sea view it's well worth a visit. The food was good, honest, wholesome stuff but very well prepared and presented and really tremendous value. High quality but not pretentious. We were all stuffed. The missis didn't like the nachos but that'd be nitpicking; I thought they were unusual but nice. Nice relaxing atmosphere very welcoming and family friendly. Best of all was the service from the waitressed, all couldn't have been more helpful.

If you are hungry, this place is very good value for money. Good comfort food like burgers, steaks, fish, and vegetarian dishes with generous portions at a fair price. (The appy potato wedges with bacon bits and cheese were crazy big!) Service was kind and prompt, ensuring we were happy with our meals and ready to rectify if we weren't. Kids' menu available.

Service is fantastic, staff all very helpful and friendly. Kirsty especially went the extra mile to provide allergen information. Called in about half past 5 and had a 15 minute wait so perhaps you may wish to book. Vegetarian menu is limited - only 3 options and only 1 was vegan friendly which was disappointing for some members of my party. Chicken goujons were some of the nicest I've tasted!! Meal was reasonably priced.

Just been to the north coast for 2 weeks holiday and had lunch here a couple of times with family and again with friends and also work colleagues. On every occasion the meal was excellent. It would be grossly unfair to the kitchen & waiting staff to complain. The restaurants along the seafront seem to capture all the headlines, don't miss a great lunch at the Cromore because it does not have a seaview. I've been to the cromore over a good number of years and it is consistently good. Sunday lunch can be a bit more crowded, but week days, lunch is 1st class.

Called in here as staying across the road. Three adults and two kids. Arrived in and it was busy but got table straight away. The waitress was so friendly. We placed our order mum wasnt feeling the best and not big eater so she asked could she have of the kids menu having there rump steak. She offered pay couple pound extra if need be even though steak was on kids menu. Girl said okay. Food came out was adults steak and when asked this isnt kids meal took back to the chef and it came back to the table with a remark from the chef your an adult you get adult steak. Have been in restaurants before not a bother doing for mum.I ordered fish in a crispy batter notice i said crispy batter not dripping in grease and not cooked right where batter was still raw. Not even that have had bigger fish from a tin hardly any cod there. Waitress took it away say sorry will sort this told her dont bother chef cant deep fry batter cod. Should not be a chef.When came to pay blonde hair manager noticed we had three kids meal prices on our bill. So produced a diffrent bill with adult price on it and didn't take the fish of it but said sorry wasnt to your liking.Dog would of turned his nose up on it. Chef should be ashamed of himself or herself.

We ate here on our last night and was not disappointed we had the shared nachos huge portion and steak chicken combo and burger all large portions The restaurant was very busy but service was still efficient and friendly I recommend this place to eat very highly

Last night four of us went for a meal. Shown to our table straight away then drinks came followed by the meal. We had four or five drinks but no empty glasses where cleared from table the sweet dishes where not removed either totally bad bar service it wasn't till night porter came on duty that glasses and dishes where removed

We stayed over the road in a B+B so we came over a couple of nights for a meal and drinks, the meals we had was lovley.

Absolutely amazing again despite the large crowds at the hotel for the North West 200 week of festivities. Big shout out to James in the bar who is worth his weight in gold. Also well impressed with a new waitress to us Jill. All food was hot, tasty, generously portioned and well presented. Well done the kitchen staff.

We have eaten at this restaurant regularly on Sunday at teatime & have been generally very pleased with The Bistro food. Unfortunately, we arrived at 5.30pm on Easter Sunday with my elderly mother & we waited approx 45 minutes for our meal to be served in the restaurant as there were no tables available in The Bistro. When our meals arrived, the lamb cutlets which had been ordered by both my husband & my mother were very tough & I had to ask for a steak knife to tackle my mother’s. The side order was also incorrect & rather than wait another 45 minutes my husband ate some of it. During the 45 minute wait, we did not see any food appearing at tables around us. We were told that all the orders had come in at the same time & the kitchen was struggling to cope. It was Easter Sunday & the restaurant should have been geared for the extra customers. The restaurant did not charge for two of our three meals & that was dealt with correctly, but I would have much preferred to have enjoyed all three of our meals & paid for three meals. Will definitely think twice before I return on a Sunday evening.

Had a lovely meal her whilst staying overnight. The food was great, huge steak and a duck for the two of us, can't be faulted. Great staff and good atmosphere. Very clean and would thoughouly recommend eating here

Over the last 2 years i have eaten here many weekends..cant rate this place highly enough..great menu, delicious food, relaxed atmosphere and lovely staff..we ate here last Saturday night and as usual a great meal..the peppered rump steak is delicious..great value for money..a lovely place for a family meal..or a night out with friends..cant wait to get back again..

Just had to write a review to let everyone know that if they haven’t visited this restaurant yet they are missing out on the best food in the area. The menu has an excellent range of choice from steaks, chicken, fish etc. But it the taste that makes you come back again and again. This is a family run business which I believe gives it a more friendly atmosphere. Staff are helpful and efficient and great at remembering faces from previous visits. From starters to main course too mouth watering deserts you will not be disappointed. Well done.

We went on a Saturday about one o'clock. The restaurant was quiet and the waitresses were attentive. The lunch menu is short, but there was plenty we liked the look of. I chose the Bang-bang chicken accompanied by a Caesar salad and dip. My wife had the gammon which came with a side order. The meals both cost £8.75 each and we could have made it into two courses for £11 each. I really liked the combination of chicken and Caesar salad. It was noticeable that most tables were taken by older couples, which suited us fine. There was a TV playing so we got the news of Lizzy Yarnold winning her gold in the Winter Olympics as we ate!.

Went here for a lovely lunch meal with my family just before Xmas day,we had a 4 course meal absolutely gorgeous , we all had a starter each really nice then followed by beef sirloin 3/4 big slices with roast potatoes ,mash potatoes ,brussell sprouts and batons carrots with gravy meat was lovely and tender and really enjoyed the whole meal . I had sticky toffee pudding with sauce and friends had chocolate brownie and ice cream/ or whipped cream real big portions and the kids had a poke of ice cream with wafers everything was fantastic can't praise this restaurant enough will be back for sure,staff were all very friendly and helpful when needed.

Went here for a cheeky wee date night with my husband recently. The service was so warm and friendly that we felt like we’d called ahead and asked for special attention instead of just wandering in off the street. The servers were attentive and offered good advice concerning the menu. We particularly enjoyed the sharing nachos!

The Cromore Halt Bistro is by far the best place to eat in the triangle- I go at least x3 a month have had most of the menu & can safely say I have never had a bad meal! Maybe hasnt an overly lively atmosphere BUT for quality & quantity of food this wins! Service is always great too! (and loads of parking) Keep it up!

Just called again at the Cromore Halt Inn for dinner with some visitors. We were delighted to have the attention of a friendly waiter and Bronagh from reception at hand with the menus. The womenfolk are Coeliacs and it was no bother to have most of the menu offered gluten free. The Cromore is exceptional for choice in this field. It was good as always to have the personal attention of manager / owner Carol. We visited Portstewart last week for two overnights and booked at the very last minute into the Cromore Halt. The room was excellent value. Top marks again Carol for cleanliness, friendliness and good food. Breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed our evening meals very much too. Great to see you again and meet Mark and Nicole and of course Bronagh who was so helpful to us the last time we stayed. This friendliness and willingness to take time to talk are important in attracting people back. Keep up the good work Carol. Your refurb efforts are spectacular so far. Kind regards. Ate here a few times over the past couple of months. Food always delicious although service can sometimes be a bit slow during busy periods. A great selection of food for adults and kids alike. Reasonably priced for the area.

Tuesday evening our family members 24 in all gathered to surprise a wonderful Aunty and celebrate her birthday. We were seated in the Bistro area at a long table down the middle of the room, as some of our party were concerned about the position of the table the duty manager immediately offered to move us to a private room assuring us that it would only take 10 minutes to set the room up. After discussions it was decided to stay where we were which as it turned out was perfectly fine our party did not disturb other diners nor they us. The starter I had was leek and potato soup and a bread roll. The soup was delicious very flavoursome and the bread roll was warm and fresh. For my main I had a gammon steak with hand cut chips. The steak was quite thin so had become dry when cooked, it was okay but not great. The chips were dry and crisp good chips. The service struggled on the main because only one young woman seemed to be dealing with our whole party. Therefore the meals were coming out slowly. When two more more servers joined her things went smoother. All the servers were very pleasant and helpful in fact the whole staff team made us feel very welcome. The staff carried out the birthday cake which the family had provided lit candles and all, so we could all sing the traditional Happy Birthday To You. All in all a good night for our family and the staff managed to deal with our large party whilst at the same time seeing to their other diners.

A refuelling station for the body...not somewhere for a an evening out. The food is fine but a copycat of much of what is served in low end price restaurants in this area.If you've had a busy day at the beach or at work you can get a bite to eat and drink here and you won't be disappointed with the bill.

We have just returned from 2 weeks at the north coast and dines several times for lunch at the Cromore Halt. Could not be faulted, really is 1st class. Look forward to returning sooner than later.

First time eating here and I was impressed. The food was lovely and reasonably priced. Service was quick and friendly. Good choice for kids and they were happy to customise my daughter's meal. Will return again

We had tried to book several other restaurants in the area which we normally visit- but they were all booked up. Cromore were able to take us. The restaurant was very busy when we arrived- which is a good sign. Set menu was traditional- with good choices. Starters arrived very quickly- but unfortunately we then had to wait for an hour for main meals. This was a long wait for the children in the party. Dinner was traditional fayre. All seemed to enjoy the meal. Waitress kindly apologised for delay and said there were two full rooms of customers being served by one kitchen. It was understandable- but if you are visiting -steel yourself for a wait if it looks like a busy day. Alternatively- order lots of starters!

Als wir nach einem freien Tisch fragten, wurden wir erst mal stehen gelassen. Einige Minuten später nahm sich uns dann eine andere Bedienung an und wir bekamen einen Tisch. Das Restaurant war gut besucht, viele Kinder, deshalb etwas laut. Das System: in der Karte schauen, was man bestellen möchte, dann an der Theke bestellen ist für uns gewöhnungsbedürftig, scheint hier aber noch üblich zu sein. Die Bestelltheke liegt aber schlecht, wenn mehrere Leute anstehen ist man dem Servierpersonal im Weg (gleich vor Küchentür und vor Regal mit Servietten, Ketchup etc.). Auf das Essen mussten wir etwas warten und es war okay. Die Chips hätten etwas mehr durch sein können. Die Ente war nicht knusprig. Das Personal dafür recht freundlich.

Mi marido y yo siempre asegúrate de tener una comida cada vez que están en el área local. La comida es siempre muy bien cocinada y presentada y el amable personal es cálido y acogedor. No es necesario reservar y abierto cada día. También hay gente de comer cuando sabes todo estará bien. Recomiendo encarecidamente este bistro

Era el último día del Abierto de Irlanda y el restaurante estaba muy lleno. Nos tiene un poco de espera en nuestra comida, pero nos entendimos. Pedí una ensalada echadas con mi comida que era más de lo que te dan como una de todos modos. Tomates cortar muy pequeño y no muchas, pequeñas tiras de wet de algún tipo de lechuga y prácticamente toda la red onion (que no comer). Muy decepcionante, ya que fuimos a un restaurante diferente la próxima noche y nos dieron una verdadera ensalada con lechuga real. El sobresaliente fue precioso. . Otras dos personas en mi empresa pedimos patatas fritas ajo pero el ajo debe tener perdimos entre la cocina y nuestra mesa. Nuestra comida 5 años era buena. Debo mencionar que las camareras. Son realmente muy amable y agradable y sonriente y animado con la prisa.

We frequently eat in the Cromore when we are in Portstewart and always enjoy very good food at reasonable prices. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Uno de los mejores en los que nos hemos alojado durante los últimos 20 años visitando esta parte más hermosa del mundo, la comida es tan buena como puede ser, el personal son sin duda los mejores disponibles. No puedo recomendar lo suficiente, gracias de nuevo.

Went to cromore halt with my daughter on 15 th may for evening meal food excellent, staff brilliant and very attentive. Atmosphere warm and welcoming definitely will be back again . I would highly recommend cromore halt.

Llamado en el descuento la posibilidad de conseguir una comida después de la North West 200 carreras de motos. Pero el personal ocupado increíblemente especialmente Carol eran muy atentos. La comida era de primera y muy rápidamente. Muy satisfechos. Otro miembro del personal de atención era Jamesy.

La hora de la cena llegó el sábado como un grupo de seis y aunque estaba ocupado, me encontraron una mesa.Amplia selección en el menú, y a precios razonables. El personal, amable y muy eficiente.La comida era muy buena y sin duda alguna volveremos otra vez.

Tenía comida aquí en Semana Santa Martes y a pesar de estar muy ocupado, nos llevaron a una mesa con prontitud. Un entorno cómodo y excelente servicio de nuestra camarera, Rebecca. Nada era un problema para ella. La comida llegó caliente y salsa de tuberías incluidas, tabaco cebollas, ensalada y una selección de orden lateral. A un precio muy razonable y absolutamente deliciosa. Sin duda lo recomiendo y volveré.

Having been to the halt restaurant last night 15/4/17 , we were welcomed and seating nicely by the window.we had nachos with chilli dip to start with, followed by chicken combo,s (steak & chicken ) served with tobacco onions chips and pepper sauce. Cooked to perfection and we'll presented. Restaurant very busy ,but staff kept us In formed of short delay ,staff really friendly and meal arrived very quickly taken into account how busy they were.really enjoyed the meal and will return again soon.thankyou for a enjoyable evening.desi hunter limavady.
