A brief visit for a coffee and apple pie, both of which were delicious. I've visited here on a number of occasions, usually for breakfast or lunch and always found the food and the staff to be excellent. Today was no exception. The apple pie was offered with cream or custard, hot or cold. The latte was first class as was the service. Welcoming, polite and friendly. Thank you.

Lovely restaurant. Very disappointed that the only vegetarian food for lunch was soup. On a hot day it wouldn’t have been my choice! Couldn’t believe that in this day and age soup was the only choice for a vegetarian or vegan. Couldn’t make an egg or salad sandwich. Will not be returning for lunch.

We had a warm welcome and fast efficient service from Selina. Lovely Sunday lunch, big portion. Reasonable price considering today's food costs.

This place used to be great but has gone down badly. We called in for some lunch, opted for the stew but it was tasteless and no meat just big chunks of potatoes, hardly any carrot too. Will not be back and wouldn't recommend. Even their scones didnt look great and they used to be lovely.

Called in for afternoon coffee and a biscuit each. Good service and nice coffee, no sweeteners left which was not great as we are both Diabetic, it is so easy to keep a popper of Hermesetas behind the counter just in case your usual sachets are run out.I think we will start carrying sweeteners just in case, as there are a surprising number of establishments that do not think of Diabetic Diners, including some quite high brow places. Nevertheless the food was fine. I would have given 5 stars if there had been sweeteners.

We called in here this morning to have breakfast before starting our homeward journey. We ordered 2 fries and 2 teas. The fries were brought to our table in due course. The food may have been cooked on a hot plate as the soda bread just looked as if it had been rubbed along a surface that needed cleaned as there were black marks on the white soda bread. It did not look as if it had been fried at all. The potato bread didn’t look properly cooked either. The bacon had black markings on it too. The top of the egg yolks had an area the size of a ten piece coin which had not been cooked. The sausages were perfectly fine. On hind sight I should have sent the food straight back. So will definitely not go there for a fry again. We had also called there yesterday while shopping in the Whitehouse and had tea and a traybake. We have been visiting the Whitehouse for many years as we caravan in Portrush every year. We always used to enjoy their beautiful scones but sadly they are awful now. I do hope they get these things sorted out as it was always a favourite haunt of ours.

We always eat here when in Portrush but today was the last.time. A 30 minute wait for our meals and then hot meals served on stone cold plates. If they want any trade during the week of the Open, they would need to get their ac together!!

Came on Easter Monday, was very busy (expected) waited in line and ordered our food and then we waited and waited. Four more meals came out before ours, yet they ordered after us. Over 45 minutes later asked a server to check on our food and she said she would check but didn’t come back. We decided to wait a further 10 minutes and nothing came. Went to get a refund as the food came out (not what we ordered). Both staff and management very rude. Eventually got our refund. Got a chippy instead, and actually got our food.

Came in with my mum and my aunt as me, my Mum are visiting from Scotland, asked for a burger and I took a bite out of the burger and it tasted funny so I cut it open and it wasn’t even cooked properly pink in the middle. We told a staff member who was lovely about it but got asked if I wanted another burger but I was put off last time, I use the restaurant.

Visited yesterday for breakfast. The full fry consisted of the worst quality ingredients I've had in an Ulster Fry. The sausages were the poorest i have ever had. The beans were shocking. But the worst of all was the cleanliness, the place is filthy. Look at the floors under the radiators! Hasn't been cleaned in years.

I reguarly enjoy a healthy walk round Portrush starting at the West Strand, via the harbour, over Ramore Head and round to the East Strand. However by two-thirds of the way round the mouth is dry and the stomach is rumbling.

Upstairs in The White House. Nothing pretentious, grand for coffee and cake or soup and sandwich. And a fine retreat if some of the party are taking too long in the shop.

We were looking for somewhere for a bowl of soup or similar mid afternoon and were finding it difficult to find anywhere in Portrush. This department store had a restaurant/cafe so we decided to try it. There was a choice of soup and other meals. We both had the soup which was very good, served with excellent wheaten bread.

This Review relates to the Portstewart location only - can’t find a separate listing for it on TA Experience as follows: Entered - smoky/ poor ventilation - coming from kitchen area Noisy - lots of noise (plates etc) from open kitchen area competing with the music and people trying to talk over both Cold (arrived 9:30 am - would have expected to be warmer by then) Expensive - but then most things on North Coast are Scones - limited variety. Not fresh. Covered in a sugar glaze. Excuses - sorry we have run out of jam. Went back to kitchen area to ask if had any marmalade instead? No. ‘But you are serving scones and toast’? Response - It’s very busy this time of year. My response - that’s why you plan for it. It should have been a single star. But it’s Christmas

My favourite dining venue in the area. Can’t recommend the service & quality of this establishment enough. Great food, good portions & friendly staff. My only criticism is that myself & my friends would prefer to dine in the restaurant for its ambience, etc., than in the bistro, but despite requesting this while booking, we frequently are seated in the bistro. While the menu & meals are the same in quality & price, surely if the restaurant is requested, it should be honoured!

We stayed at the Ibis Riverside Coleraine with our Ladies choir from North Devon on Friday the 27th Oct for three nights. The staff were excellent, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble also they were very accommodating when we sang some songs in the bar. The breakfasts and dinner we had at the hotel were excellent as were Danielle and Erin our waitresses. The barman and the two ladies on the reception were also very helpful. Needless to say if we ever needed to stay in Coleraine we would definitely stay at this hotel and recommend to others

We spent one night at the Port Hotel as we were visiting family in the area and heading to the Giant's Causeway. Location is good, not a far drive from the Causeway with decent restaurants nearby. Staff at the front desk and in the restaurant were friendly. The beds unfortunately were very uncomfortable.. lumpy and badly in need of updating. The hotel vibe is cute and quaint, okay for one night, but wouldn't spend a second night.
