VERY SMALL PORTIONS! The large fish and chips were extremely small including a few chips and a spoonfull of mushy peas. All our family's meals including the roast were not filling and we left feeling cheated. The desserts were all tiny! We had a ' small ' lunch the day before and this should have given us warning bells as I had rarebit....... melted spoonful on ONE crumpet for £7! Good staff, packed with good atmosphere inside but we left hungry!

Our party of 12 had a wonderful evening at Lusty Glaze enjoying an amazing pre dinner chat and chill having drinks and listening to the great Sundowner DJ set followed by a fabulous dinner served up Rich Mason and team aka The Pickled Chef in the restaurant area of Lusty. A special table was set out for us just as requested by the iconic Lusty Glaze Neon sign for my wife’s 60th birthday dinner, and the dedicated service we got throughout the evening was really personal, friendly and swift. We were all particularly impressed by how well waiter Eden kept all of us so well looked after.Great starters included the Camembert and the spicy chicken wings followed by equally delicious mains including the Wagyu burger and the Shellfish bowl . A really memorable night

I went in the afternoon, the car park was full, ( it is wheelchair friendly, when you find a space) Also the entrance is wheelchair accessible, BUT you need to negotiate two sets of doors before you actually get inside the dining room proper. Surprisingly on this occasion, though NOT on every occasion, the restaurant was half empty. This is probably because it was the middle of the week, but nothing is for certain. The menu i seen was not extensive, and prices were around the £17 mark. That said what I had was hot, with good portion size and extremely delicious. There is also a starter menu and a dessert menu also. I can't quote you on the price of the drinks, as it was my birthday and I wasn't buying. The toilets are clean.

I am writing to contact the Millhouse to complain that I have a £100 voucher which I was advised we would be able to use but am now unable to contact anyone to confirm what we can do about a refund now that the restaurant cannot meet their obligation.

Treated the family to Sunday Lunch. Food was excellent. My Nephew, a bit of a foodie, said that it was the best pub Sunday Lunch he had ever had. There was a great atmosphere and lively ambience because the restaurant was packed with happy diners. Our orders for drinks and food were delivered with an almost magical speed. The food and drinks were delicious and well presented. The horseradish mash was the star side dish for me. The smart and efficient staff were friendly and attentive which added greatly to the overall quality of experience. We can't find a restaurant in Peterborough to match the consistent quality of experience the Black Horse delivers every time we visit.

Last week I left the following review: ‘We had a takeaway pizza from The White Horse last night, and I was absolutely blown away. It was so delicious that I had to double-check it was actually gluten-free! The texture, the flavor—everything was spot on. Hands down the best gluten-free pizza I’ve ever had. Highly recommend’ However, I feel it’s important to add a follow-up to my initial review. After eating the pizza last week, I was unwell for the entire next day, which raised concerns. We returned to the restaurant this week and ordered the same gluten-free pizza, and it was clearly different from the one we received previously - this one was unmistakably gluten-free. Based on the difference in texture and taste, I now strongly suspect the first pizza was not actually gluten-free. As someone with a wheat allergy (luckily, not a life threatening one), this is quite serious, and I hope the restaurant takes steps to ensure this kind of mix-up doesn’t happen again, especially to someone who may become seriously unwell. I have rated 3 stars because both pizzas were delicious and, hopefully, the mix-up was a one time issue.
