We had our sister in laws 30th birthday party here. It was amazing, they allowed us to decorate the room, buffet was outstanding, lots of drink options, staff are helpful and friendly. Toilet access and plenty of seating with free parking outside. Play area for children too

We only went for a pint here so we just sat in the pub half, which was comfortable enough. Staff were accomodating, they even turned the TV volume off as we were sat underneath it. It's a cosy atmosphere and I can imagine the restaurant half is as nice.

Pre booked thankfully as busy as usual. Food decent, as expected. Good selection of meat and veg. Because it was busy there was no cutlery available when we'd got our meal! I saw various pieces of cutlery dropped on the floor throughout the dining area. We didn't have to wait too long to be supplied to some (clean thankfully) The place itself is desperate for some tidying up. But as l guess staff shortages and cost curtail that. Staff on duty were pleasant and polite. Nice, given their workload. Will no doubt call again if only for the food.

I went to Tuesday's 'Lejunction Open Mic'. This is a review for that, and the Pub. They have a Full Back Line, on a Proper Stage. The Session is very well Hosted by Nick, with Zimmy who does the Engineering - he will also video your Slot and upload it to their WhatsApp Group for you, which is great! The Session takes place upstairs: Vibes are cool, there's a strong sense of community. It starts quiet but the Audience grows, the later it gets. You'll often find Nick and other regulars on Bass, Keys, Drums, etc. supporting whoever's playing! You can perform to Backing Tracks, too, if you bring your own Device. (They had an old 49Key Yamaha when I went in mid-March 2025; an interesting challenge for Piano players.) It's a big but divided space, Music one side, Pool n' Darts n' a Big-screen on the other. Sometimes people play Pool and listen-in... and you can see the stage from every vantage. Has its own Bar, which was unmanned when I went. It also has an outside Terrace. The Staff were great. It was quiet downstairs. It's a nice place. (Just one downside: it smelt like all Pubs smelt 'back in the day' - they may've fixed that though.) Though it seems out of the way, it's easy to get to via Bus and Overground. It's kind-of a 'Hidden Gem' of a Music Venue!

We won't be back here for breakfast..mine was awful...undercooked sausage, undercooked bacon..burned toast...husbands scrambled egg and salmon was ok but neither were worth the £10 plus each we paid for them. Even the toast and jam I asked for was burned toast and just a dollop of jam smeared in a paper cup thing. Don't bother with breakfast here its simply not worth it.

Firstly I don't like leaving bad reviews but I feel I have to this time. Went for breakfast at 9am on a Thursday morning. Ok..so...No mushrooms!!.. criminal really. Most things swimming in grease/oil, hash browns rock hard. Have to say the sausages were lovely though. Normally go to the bradford one and based on this visit will continue to do so. The young lad cooking needs to go see the young lass (chef) at the Bradford branch as the food was night and day different. We all can have off days but I wasn't the only one complaining so God knows what the carvery is like. Shame really.

What a cracking little find this was. Tucked away in a quiet corner. Subtle atmosphere, no noisy juke box or overbearing music just gentle background. A good choice of pub food, quickly served piping hot and reasonably priced. Cheerful staff and good beer was the icing on the cake.
