Corben was amazing, never had to write anything down, carried all the plates away at once and always made sure everything was ok for us. An absolute treasure 🫶🏻 Plenty of choice for food too

Great experience at Toby Carvery Keighley today. Booked a table taking advantage of the £6.00 carvery deal as were many others. Me and my friend were seated before the correct time by the lady at the door. The queue for the carvery was long and took a while to get to the front but as usual was worth the wait. Big shout out to Jacob who was carving the meats, friendly and chatty who apologised for the wait and Karen who waited on our table, internet was down and having issues with apps and payments but took it all in her stride with a smile on her face.

I've been a lot to this carvery, normally always good but last night when only medium busy 30 minutes queue at carvery due to disorganised chef. The 3 of us ate separately in the end due the queues and rude manager James who would rather argue with me than make sure the place was run properly. And why are all the kitchen staff male and dining room staff female? Does Toby have a problem?

On arrival, we were offered a booth, three of the five of us were unable to shuffle in and out of a booth, so the staff had to make up a table for 5. Keighley appears to be short staffed, as were weren't approached within 20 minutes to take our starter orders. The starters took 25 minutes to arrive, but at least the food was hot. On arrival at the serving area, there was a new gammon, a really old looking piece of pork, barely any beef and a large body of turkey. I got gammon and beef, assuming the beef would be replaced before my dad was asked. There was no pork scratchings. The selection of vegetables was very poor. The potato gratin was stone cold and hard, no broccoli, the macaroni cheese was also cold. On returning to the table, my dad had been given the remanence of the scraps of beef which was left from when I had ordered, I was shocked to be honest. When we had finished our mains, we had to wait another 15 minutes and even then I had to grab a server as they passed us (the person who's area it was was nowhere to been seen). The desserts again took 20 minutes to arrive and even then my mum's hot fudge cake was cold. Total disgrace if I am honest with you and I vowed it would be my last visit to this particular Toby Carvery.

Very disappointed with our visit. The place has really gone down in the last few months and to be honest it is very poor value for money. The staff are fine but from reading the responses from management to previous reviews it is obvious where the problem with this place is, the management or more to the point the lack of management. To respond to a customer who commented on wild children in the restaurant that it was the parents responsibility to manage them is unbelievable. Where ever this team member was trained is to be looked at and having a small financial interest in M&B I will bringing the comments to the attention of senior management to pass on the the area manager.

The restaurant wasn’t particularly busy but there was a family with 5 kids running in and out of the restaurant shouting and playing through an open window . I’m not a spoil sport but people want to sit, eat and talk . The staff should tell the parents it’s a restaurant not a kids play centre. It wasn’t only me who was disappointed . Secondly the carvery was fine except for the roast potatoes, they had been over cooked so much they tasted like a well done jacket potatoe. I did mention this but the staff said it was a supply issue with the potatoe supplier. To be honest they weren’t fit to eat but there was no apology or reduction. I’m hoping this is a one off as most of the time You know what you’re getting at a Tobys and they are usually ok

No bacon 2 eggs totally hard and looked like rubber Sausage’s burnt Everything was cold The tall chef was very abrupt and when asked about keeping eggs topped up stated they would eventually be out ! 3 butters left The bread I had to remove from packaging and get myself. This breakfast has certainly gone down hill.

Absolutely terrible. Definitely not toby standard. We come here regularly and this was the worst meal we have had. It was very quiet even though it was 12.45 which is usually a busy time. We tend to go at that time as the food is plentiful and hot!!!! The yorkshire pudding was inedible. Flaky pastry really. The roast potatoes were hard as was the cauliflower cheese. We saw a few plates go back with quite a lot of food left which says it all really.

The restaurant was very busy, however the service appeared well managed and organised. The waitress was very kind, friendly and very helpful; she gave me guidance on how to use the tablet to check for dietary requirements. I had the carvery, and the person serving at the counter was attentive and professional. The meats were lovely, though the vegetables were not very hot. There was a good range of vegetables; the potatoes were tasty but the sprouts were a little chewy and lacked flavour.

Went back after 2 years but disappointed. The carvery is good and good value, but almost no choice if you don't want the carvery - we ended up having the carvery meat with an apology for a salad (just lettuce, shaved cucumber and carrots). We'll certainly be looking for a more varied menu before we go again.

We visited Bank Holiday Monday, looking forward to our first Roast Beef and Yorkshire Pudding in a pub for months. Although the restaraunt was half full at 6.15pm.the food was tepid. The Yorkshire's were stale and cool. The beef was stingy and the veg had been around a while. We spoke with the couple on the next table who felt similarly about their meal. When we were presented with the bill it was the biggest shock. £6 for two lime and lemonade and £26 for a standard carvery and a king size we felt well and truly ripped off. Prices have gone up dramatically but quality has definitely taken a dive

Visited here earlier this month. With the Covid measures in place you had to tick the boxes on a piece of paper with what you wanted. I had brought my 97 year old mother out and asked if we could order a childs portion as she eats very little now. I was told no thats for children only and just tick Adult and small portion which was really not helpful! When the meals arrived the presentation was shocking. Food just piled up on top of each other. Sauces blending into veg and mash and it was search for the tiny piece of meat somewhere underneath. You can get much better value elsewhere nearby and i just think the change of service shouldnt be an excuse for poor service and presentation. It wasnt value for money as we left a lot if it.

usually when i come, the food is great. but recently the meats full of fat, the veg was undercooked, puddings that were supposed to be warm were cold, and “refillable” drinks are over priced. and i were supposed to pay £14.89 but got charged £15.03 it may only be £0.14 but if they do that to every customer they make more than they are supposed to. the pudding i got was eton mess, and it was very sickly, barely any meringue just full of whipped cream and raspberry sauce. the stuffing was rock hard and the mash didn’t taste of anything. the customer service was awful some of the staff were rude, and when i tried to ask for what food i wanted on my plate, they didn’t ask me what i wanted just started to put everything on my plate. one of the staff told us the carvery and the drink was £10.49 even though it was supposed to be £10.89. wouldn’t recommend going later on at night as they don’t really care as long as they get money if i’m honest.

Our eleven year old granddaughter’s favourite meal but with the new table service restrictions we were a bit sceptical as to what to expect. We were sat down and the new rules were explained to us all in a very friendly and helpful manor. You order by ticking boxes for meat, yorkshire’s veg and gravy plus sauces.King size two adult standards plus two kids chicken nuggets for the 7 & 5 year olds. All the meals were brought together and were just what we had ordered. The staff couldn’t have been more eager to please and double checked we had got everything on our plates we wanted. No waiting in line no waiting for the kids meals and eating separately, in fact it made a very pleasant change. No puddings today as the kids wanted to get home for birthday cake, but we will be back real soon for that extra course. Not exactly Toby Carvery we are all used to but given the current situation a very well thought out alternative so a big well done to all the staff and management at Toby.Give it a try I’m sure you will enjoy.

I have made allowances for the current circumstances during this pandemic but was a little disappointed in the food and service. I booked online and booked for 6 and added there are also 2 under 4. I was told when we arrived that I had booked wrong! I should have booked for 8 as they don’t cater for parties of over 6. The manager said she could seat us but it would be a squash. I asked the waitress for a high chair for my 2 year old to be told we have them but I can’t give you one on the end of a table? When asked why it was because of the social distancing. Looking at the table I was sat closer to the next table than the high chair would have been. The waitress never once smiled and on ordering drinks she put through a refillable pop in large glasses for 2 minors. The meat was good the Veg hard and the roast potatoes were bad. The guys behind the food service were great and polite. The waitress and managers attitude were abrupt and on the verge of being rude. Ordered ice cream sundaes for the kids and they were massive in portion. Would be more ideal if she would have told me that they are large if for the kids? Or have children’s menu for desserts. The final straw was on paying the bill and had been charged for an extra carvery main. Did get my refund though and the 50% government discount made it better. Not sure if I’d bother to book again.

Regular visitors to the Toby Carvery but this was our first visit this year. The food was delicious as always. But after visiting other pub/restaurants I was concerned there was no perspex screen at the bar and the waiting staff were not wearing visors. We went up to the Carvery and got what we wanted. Only down side is that we can’t get are own veg ect due to the Covid restrictions . For some this is fine but for me it’s a issue. I don’t like my food touching due to sensory issues but the chef was respectful of this but still wasn’t how I like it. I got back to my Table and was eating my turkey and it looked pink which is a no no. It wasn’t when I shined my phone light on it. The light needs sorting so that the meat doesn’t look pink under them as I would have left that if I hadn’t have had a better look. The food was really good and we were both full.

We visited on 15th July, which was the first time out for a meal in four months. There was no problem in distancing, the place was fairly quiet, we both had the carvery and everything was served on to your plate. This wasn't a problem as you just let the server know how much you wanted from each tureen. No real ale on yet but after four months the John Smiths tasted like nectar. Visit Tobys all over the country. Keighley is probably the worst. The carvers have no people skill at all.. no conversation or personality. (language barrier?) I am just like any other person. When going to support local businesses I do expect some kind of good service and good food. Went to have the breakfast this morning at Toby’s in Keighley. We paid exactly the same as those who arrived at 8:00 but got the worst service , attitude and food. We arrived 10:05 and service ended at 11:00. We visited last night. We didnt arrive until around 8.15 pm as we had just finished work for the day. On arrival we were told there was just a tiny bit of meat left after waiting around 5 mins at the bar when 5 bar staff were busy doing other things! We chose to sit down and were shown a table and left alone. A few people were seated after us and were attended to. We decided to get up and get some food having been told there was hardly anything left. On returning to our table quite a few minutes later a waitress came and dithered around us with a tablet whilst we were eating asking questions on what we had which was obvious as they were on the table. We still didnt have drinks so ordered refillable soft drinks. She said the order should have been taken when seated. After almost finishing the meals i went off to find drink glasses and the waitress suddenly saw me and ran to get some saying there were no bar staff hence not getting our drinks. We had one drink each as we had finished our meals by the time we got them. We went to pay after being given our bill. Noone in our dining area so went to the bar to pay. The same bar staff were still there and one didnt know what to do when passed the bill and money so i left it on the bar with her! Needed change but decided to just go. We work in the food service industry. This level of service really lets you down. There was no organisation at all. Granted it was 8.15pm when we arrived but you still took our money!

Myself and my parents visit here at least every month. The staff really look out for us making sure we're happy where we're seated, as my parents are elderly. The meals are excellent value and we are never disappointed. Special shout out to Karen and nicola for going above and beyond.

Came for breakfast. It’s diabolical. Stewed coffee Luke warm bacon and rubbery sausage. The food is atrocious. The toaster burns one side the other is soggy. Honestly an appealing place which dire food.

Love Toby Carvery at Keighley. Always great value for money, have been twice recently and enjoyed it immensely both times. Late getting there the first time due to unforeseen circumstances but they had kept a table and we didn't have to wait. Thanks Toby Carvery for great food and lots of it!

Called in as was passing and it looked nice from the outside. Very busy and was told there would be half hour wait for table. Sat in comfortable waiting area with a drink and was seated at our table after 45 minutes. We opted for the carvery and the Yorkshire puddings were huge. There was a selection of meats which all looked delicious, the roast beef was very nice. There was a selection of veg but the cabbage was very watery. The staff were very pleasant and brought drinks to our table but was disappointed that my pink gin was served in a glass like school dinners. The bill for four including a round of drinks came to just over £57.00 which I thought was good.. there was a good selection of deserts but could not manage to fit one in. We will definitely go back when we are in the area

Visted here on a Monday night around 8pm with my mum and boyfriend for dinner on our way back from Skipton. We've been before and the carvery is usually very good. This time however the service, drinks and toilets really let the whole thing down.

A last minute decision to go out, everyone agreed this was the place to go. Booked online for the time we wanted. Arrived 10 mins earlier than booking, and our table (needed extra space) was still in use, but staff quickly found a suitable alternative. We ordered drinks and went to get our food. As always the food was lovely. Plenty of choice of meats, huge yorkshire puds (though you can ask for a smaller one) and all the usual veggies, and gorgeous roast potatoes! Helpful and friendly staff, highly recommend!!

Never considered Toby for breakfast before. We stayed in the Hotel next door which did not have breakfast facilities. We had seen the signs outside promoting breakfast and thought we would give it a try. We are glad we did, the breakfast on offer for a very reasonable was very good. It was a buffet arrangement, eat what you want. The choice and quality on offer was a pleasant surprise. We both had excellent breakfasts, please give it a try

The service was great. My husband really enjoyed his Turkey carvery but I had the Beef and it was very fatty. I left most of it. The Yorkshire Puddings were very tough and I couldn't eat it.

We called here, specifically as a young friend had returned home for a holiday from his home in California and hasn't had a Yorkshire Pud since he went quite a few years ago. The food was lovely, Beef, Pork, Turkey available and massive Yorkshire Puds, lots of veg and potatoes and sides including mac and cheese and pork crackling! and the veg and potatoes were all very fresh and lovely tasting, as was the beef gravy, thick and appetising. We had a bit of a problem at first with the unlimited fizzy pop as instead of dispensing Apple Tango it actually gave fizzy plain water - turns out they needed to change the "barrel" and once done all was well with the Apple. Unfortunately friend had only landed in England this morning and after 48 hours of travel (delays due to weather in USA) he really could not eat a lot, but we asked whether we could take his plate of food home with us for him to eat later and they provided a purpose made takeaway container so it is now residing in our fridge waiting for him to wake and eat. Staff were lovely and very accommodating and it is somewhere I would definitely recommend (download the app for £5 off) and we will be returning further into his 3 month holiday.

We come here regularly. Within the last couple of months things have really changed for the worse. I used to rate this as excellent. The food is not as good, on Saturday evening around 8pm the meat was dry, the vegetables too, the potato carrot mix was solid, and no green veg except peas. The sponge pudding has changed from a lovely fluffy individual pudding to a solid tasteless slab of traybake. I don’t know if it’s the chef or the manager but something has brought the standards here right down.

My wife and I called here on an impulse having visited the nearby Haworth 40's weekend early Sunday evening. It has a large car park which was busy. However, on entering the restaurant we were told a table would be available within 5 minutes. We got drinks from the bar and sure enough the table was ready. Decently decorated internally in the usual Toby Carvery manner. Friendly and efficient staff throughout our stay who explained the menu. We both went for the standard carvery meal and chose from the 5 available meats all served with limitless vegetables. The food was good and all the meat was tender and well cooked. We both chose desserts from the extensive menu which choices to suit everyone; I went for arctic roll an old time favourite of mine, whilst my wife chose spotted dick with custard. Food was served speedily throughout our stay and plates removed as soon as we had finished dining.

Extremely polite and friendly. Every member of staff went above and beyond. My meal wasn't available but they went beyond and made an alternative up for me and I have to say it was the best ploughman's I've ever had. Pleasantry is an understatement. Will certainly call again

I went here today and all I can say is how awful the staff was I was eating and they took over 30 minutes for them to clear my plate and me my friend both had drinks I had water and she had a refill drink the staff charged us both for two refill drinks and told me I was a lier when I confronted her about my bill charge she was nothing but rude and my experience here made me feel sick. The staff have a serious disrespect issue need sacking some of them.

Excellent little pub. Great service, great range of top quality beers. The food was absolutely memorable. Enormous serves, each plate could serve about four people but we all tried our best to finish it because it was just so good.

This place seems to divide opinion judging by the reviews but we thought it hit the spot nicely. Yes, the owner does invite you in if he spots you looking at the menu but we felt able to walk away, check a couple of other places and come back with no pressure. Sat out the back where there is lots of Bronte and Railway Children memorabilia on the walls. Even on a dreary day there were decent views over the valley towards Crossroads. In the summer the terrace would probably be lovely. We had homemade lentil and vegetable soup each, two sandwiches served with salad, pot of tea, bottle of water and a toasted tea cake for £25. For Haworth that’s not bad. Food was served quickly and was good, solid, no frills stuff - ideal for a grey autumn day.

Great friendly service with delicious food. Cost atmosphere and prices and specials available were great. A wonderful stop as I drove down memory lane with my parents. A highlight of my time in the countryside and one I’ll tell my friends about when I return home to Australia.

We stayed at the hotel for the night so we thought it was easier to eat in the restaurant before we went out as we had an event on at Dalby Forest. When we checked into the hotel we were asked to let them know if we would be having dinner in the restaurant, we said we would be but wasn't sure what time, that was all fine but they said it might be busy. We went down to the restaurant around 6pm and it was dead. There were quite a few in the sports bar but the restaurant itself was empty. There were 2 waiting staff on who both spent most of the time looking at their phones. The menu online was entirely different to what was given to us in the restaurant. The online menu made the food sound a la carte but it was pretty basic, usual pub grub menu- steak, burgers etc. I ordered a medium rare steak and my partner had a burger. My steak was OK and it was probably medium rare but it was quite tough and bland and nothing to be excited about. I cannot remember the exact amount of the total bill but we did think at the time that it was a bit over priced for what it was. Wouldn't recommend unless that's your only option to eat out. Not impressed.
