The best restaurants serving British food in Filey Scarborough Yorkshire and The Humber

Second time having breakfast at The Pines for me, third for my mum and brother with whom I come on holiday to lovely Filey. I can see how the local older folk love this little cafe but you don't have to be old to appreciate its charm or indeed a good, reasonably priced English breakfast. Malcolm is a great host with his cheeky banter!

Lovely breakfast here today, freshly cooked. Staff were really pleasant and brought the food over to the table. Would definitely recommend and return if we were in the area again

Slow service but then had to leave to let others have table.felt rushed after waiting so long only had 50 mins to eat 2 courses.

Ordered a medium beef dinner, yorkshire pudding wrap, lemon cake and a apple crumble/custard. All were lovely! Fast service and good price for quality food. Would definitely come again and recommend x

A must visit for drinks and cake. Great choice of homemade goodies and drinks. Staff vety frienfly and accommodating. Will definitely return when in Filey again.

Went for Sunday lunch and just loved it. Quality champagne by the glass very reasonably priced. Fabulous, delicious food in large portions. We took our spare veggies home for supper. Great views and attentive, discrete service. Can't wait to go back for dinner menu.

What a great coffee shop, quite spacious inside. Fantastic drinking chocolate. We decided to have lunch here and were not disappointed, very nice! Frothies is definitely worth a visit!

This is a great little cafe we had breakfast there and it was superb couldn't fault it I had bacon.2 sausages 2 fried eggs a tomato grilled and ,2 slices of toast you could also have baked beans and mushrooms but I don't like them. The staff were so friendly and nice all in all a great place. Would visit it again. Anne waller

Opening times laughable in the height of the season. At 945am still not ready to serve though they are supposed to open at 9. Stood at the counter for 5 mins and was deliberately ignored by two staff gossiping. Rather tarnished our view of Filey. Great though that the owners don't need the business.

Didn't eat here. Great bar with a great selection of beers, gins and other alcoholic beverages. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Dog friendly.

Rock hard chips £4.20 under cooked

Was recommended in the place where we stayed . Fabulous fish & chips the haddock was beautiful . would definitely recommend good price too 😊 Will go here again when staying in Filey .
