Opening times laughable in the height of the season. At 945am still not ready to serve though they are supposed to open at 9. Stood at the counter for 5 mins and was deliberately ignored by two staff gossiping. Rather tarnished our view of Filey. Great though that the owners don't need the business.

Called with parents today following a walk along the promenade, found a table tucked at the side of the brick building which afforded some shelter from the wind, a couple of lattes & a hot chocolate special along with 3 toasted tea cakes, a welcome treat on a sunny November morning, lady serving could’ve been a bit more pleasant but apart from that, nice visit! It is no longer Sea View Snacks but Sunrise Snacks, all wall menus are the same though!

Finally found this place to review from last year. And yes I did try to list it! Good tea and coffee served here and welcome on a cold day! In season, always busy and occasionally had to wait for a table in the summer months, but worth it.

Very generous portion of chips and slightly cheaper than the Cobble Landing. Usually easier to get a table. Been here three times and will be back. Found the new owner friendly.

Snacks were ok and value for money nice view over looking the sea, however the owner needs a lesson in customer service.

No tables left so got 3 chairs and brought a table over, met with a lady who had a little whinge about where we placed it so we moved it over (health & safety first) Had 2 burgers, hot dog & chips which were nice and we had just left and at the top of the stairs we saw the same woman moving the chairs and tables - fair enough but then watched her gesticulating and very obviously talking about us. At least wait until we're out of view first.. or you might read about it on Trip Advisor....

It is well placed, directly on the promenade front. It is limited to a small selection but well presented. A perfect pit stop for a coffee or tea and take a seat to watch the world pass by...

Great place to stop for a cuppa tea or coffee, the food is cooked fresh when ordered. Big choice of hot and cold food, plenty of seats all outside overlooking the sea. Lovely friendly staff, always a nice welcome.

Stumbled across this little place during our seafront walk. The weather was nice so this seemed like a good idea to have a snack and sit at their outside seating area admiring the lovely views. They offer a wide range of snacks including jacket potatoes, bacon butties, sandwiches and your usual seaside favourites like Hot Dogs, Cheeseburgers and Candy Floss. They also offer lighter snacks too such as crisps, cakes, biscuits and scones. I opted for a cheeseburger and a cold drink. My wait wasn't long, and service was pleasant and polite. This was the most enjoyable cheeseburger I've had in a long time and furthermore one of the most reasonably priced ones too from a seaside outlet. Would definitely recommend, and we will remember this place should we ever be in the area again.

We went there 3 times whilst on holiday near Filey. Had bacon sandwiches, loads of bacon and very tasty. Good coffee too. The staff are really friendly. The lady gave Toby a piece of sausage then immediately went inside and washed her hands. The view is fantastic. It is a great place to sit and watch the world go by. We would definitely go again if we are over there.

A good cup of coffee but if you like your coffee stronger ask for an extra shot. I hear the homemade cakes are good. Great location.

It was a beautiful clear ,sunny morning with a sharp wind blowing off the sea as we walked along the front at Filey on the las t day of 2015. As we returned to our car we noticed people sitting in the sun with mugs of drink...we decided to join them. A cheery greeting and a welcome smile from the proprietor warmed me emensely and I ordered two lattes ....proper coffee...properly made. This little bar also serves hot food and a wide range of snacks...a great little oasis.

I would not hesitate to visit this little snack bar on Filey prom time and time again. The staff are really pleasant, they serve quickly and are happy to change orders to suit the customer. The food is freshly cooked to order so you are able to enjoy the views and your cuppa at the tables overlooking the bay until your food is ready. The food is basic but it is a snack bar and the bacon baps, burgers, chips and toasted tea cakes do not disappoint, the children loved the strawberry smoothies and the schmoo milkshakes (I must admit they were fantastic!) First class views with a first class cuppa what more could you ask for?

A small friendly kiosk café that has a small number of tables outside on the promenade offering some of the best views in Filey - the beach, the Brigg and over to Flamborough Head. They serve great teas, coffees, hot chocolates and soft drinks, all at very reasonable prices and a few snacks - biscuits, crisps etc. They also serve some basic food - chips etc.On a sunny day this is one of the best spots to sit outdoors in Filey.

A typical English pub. We were warmly welcomed (as always). The food is good and the staff is friendly as always. The beer is also tasty. There is a covered and heated area in the yard for smokers. Dogs are very welcome. I can only recommend this pub. Unfortunately I won't be able to get there again until September.

Got stranded in castleton trying to get home to Danby during Storm Darragh. Called into the pub to get warm and work out what to do. Last minute decision was to stay the night because we didn't want to risk getting stuck in the floods. Room was perfect, clean and tidy! The 2 young lads behind the bar were so helpful and kind!! We could even laugh about being stuck 5 mins from home! They kindly charged our phones behind the bar and even lent us a member of staff's charger overnight. Next time we will have to try the food as its been a good few years since we last ate in there!
