The Belle Vue in Scarborough

On holiday and decided to call in for a drink at lunch time. Heard about the quiz later that night and they said they would save us a table. We turned up and had a brilliant night, all the staff we lovley and welcoming, as were the locals. Got a really good sense of community spirit from everyone. Would definitely call in again anytime.

Had a couple of nights away popped in for a drink and heard about the quiz night(Wednesday), so attended and what a fantastic night! Everyone is so welcoming it was great fun! All the staff are lovely would highly recommend!!!

Had a really good night at the quiz on Wednesday evening. It was their 2 year anniversary so they had some food which was lovely. Very friendly hosts and a good atmosphere.

What great little pub. Small in size but big on service and atmosphere. Can't wait to return.

Me and my partner come here every Wednesday for the quiz and games night. It’s such a lovely, welcoming and friendly atmosphere. All staff are lovely too especially Tara & Tina.

I visited on my birthday the two landlady’s Tara and Tina went above and beyond they even got me a birthday card absolutely loved my pint and it was on a special offer will definitely be coming back see you at Christmas 🎄

Lovely pub with a great atmosphere, dog friendly which is great when you have a labrodor. Prices are very reasonable. Will be back .

A bit run down, and the bar man didn't know whether or not they were serving food that lunchtime. We had a pint and left. The barman was nice, though, and the beer good.

Quick lunch stop in Filey. We had a couple of sandwiches which came with crisps and salad with homemade coleslaw. The lady doing the food was lovely and it was nice and filling. Bar staff great, nice atmosphere, and prices are reasonable too.

What a great local!! I was visiting friends and went for the Wednesday night quiz night. Brilliant fun, super friendly staff and customers. A fun evening, lots of different games, lots of interaction and lots of local community spirit. A place that’s just like your local should be..

Called in twice last week . Didn't eat but had drinks which were a good price. The staff were friendly and the pub was clean. Would reccomend if in Filey call in for a drink.

Been to the belle vue a lot in the years. I must say the new owners are lovely, really trying and making a difference to the community. They are very family oriented and do events for the kids, event for the young adults and then more quiet nights doing quizzes ect, even doing a local school uniform collection for anyone. can’t fault them.. can’t comment on food as haven’t tried it.

Went with my young grandson. And there were activities downstairs. Plate painting, biscuits decorating. And pass the parcel. And party food. All this was free.

Asked for cheesy nachos and diane asked me what i would like on it and i told her suprise me go mad experment i dont mind and wow chilli nachos cheese hotsauce jalepinos sour cream and pesto. And the landlafys tina and tara so friendly and lovely this is my local and i love it

Staying in Filey for the week we visited on the Games Night (Wednesday 8pm) with son & his girlfriend. Didn't know what to expect but it was a really great fun evening. Staff very friendly & efficient, drinks good but the best bit was the games which were great fun with the humerous owner on the mic. Varied quiz & 3 forms of bingo with a twist. Regular locals were welcoming & son's girlfriend won £38 to boot! Next time we're in Filey on a Wednesday we'll be back.

The most expensive pint I had in filey it was on a Friday cruz campo £5.80 pint.

We were on holiday in Filey for the week and went into Belle Vue for the Wednesday night quiz, the multiple different games were a lot of fun, the bar staff were very welcoming and friendly and make the games a lot of fun. Would definitely recommend, lovely drinks too! It made it a lot better that we won 2 quizzes aswell!

To be fair the girls in the Belle Vue are an absolute credit to marstons. Not a great fan of marstons but they run the pub like clockwork with no drama. Great beer couldn't think of a better pub in filey . Highly recommended.

Cheap and cheerful. Not the best pub in the world l, by a long shot, but I don't think it tries to be. Will go back.

I know this pub is dog friendly but really I was shocked on Saturday night we were having a drink and chatting to other folks when a man with his dog stood at the bar his dog did his business he picked it up and rubbed the carpet with a tissue appalling. If dogs have to come in why not down stairs where there is a washable floor .It felt more like a Vets than a pub barking dogs and inconsiderate owners disgusting

We came here for Filey Folk Festival. The pub was absolutely rammed all weekend, but service was incredibly quick and the staff were fantastic. Thank you so much for pouring the pints over what was a great weekend!

I visited the Belle Vue for Filey Folk Festival this weekend for the first time. The pub had an amazing atmosphere, great beer selection and the staff were very friendly, even putting up with my turn on the Open Mic/Karaoke (sorry!). I’ll definitely be coming back. Loved how dog friendly it was too.

Nice friendly bar overlooking the seafront. Good decor and selection of drinks. Dog friendly, with a barrel of biscuits on the bar. Different offers on drinks midweek. Some outside benches when it's warm enough. We only stopped for a quick drink after being on the beach.

Been here many times and always had a good time. However I have been phoning for a couple of days to ask if there's any events over easter but can't get through? Please can you let me know the easiest way to book a table if there is anything happening?

Best pub in Filey IMO. Dog friendly, more than reasonable pricing and always a good vibe/atmosphere. In a nice location too overlooking the bay. A real winner !

Needed somewhere to shelter on a freezing cold day in Filey and popped in here. What a pleasant surprise! A place for the locals and tourists too, I was made to feel so welcome, even though it's 'dry January', this pub was cosy, clean and relaxed with a great atmosphere. Bet the outside space is fantastic in the summer after a stroll along the beach. Well worth an 80 mile round trip - highly recommend.

My partner and I came in on Friday night and we were served by Nathan. We’d never been to the pub before and decided to try something new. We had a lovely time, drinks are a great price, we stayed till closing and didn’t feel rushed out the door when it came to leaving, have been in every night of our trip so far, everyone’s lovely! Highly recommend!

After popping to Filey with family for a day out we decided to stop at this lovely pub the landlady Tina was telling us all about the lovely places around Filey she was so helpful and friendly. Can't recommend this place enough. Definitely visiting again

Everytime I'm in Filey now, ( which is regular due to my work) I always always pop into this bar. The regulars and staff always make me feel so welcome. From day one I felt right at ease and now whenever I'm in the are I make sure to go in and see everyone. I would recommend this place to anybody looking to unwind and relax or looking for a good night out with fun and frolics and laughter. The staff can't do enough for you and always welcome you with a smile. Definitely my favourite place to go to when I'm in Filey...... You should make it yours too!!

Excellent atmosphere! Especially on a weekend night. Heard nothing but fab reviews on their weekly quiz so il be attending that also. Landlady’s and staff are nothing shy of welcoming and can handle a laugh which seems to be a thing of the past in a lot of pubs nowadays. Highly recommend

Absolutely fantastic place to come for drinks. Came a few times with family over the Christmas period and the staff went beyond to make us feel welcome. The place is clean and tidy. The locals were so friendly, willing to make friends with anyone. Will definitely be returning when we are back.

What an amazing community pub, with, two sisters who are local, in charge, they have many ales, larger, spirits and soft drinks for sale. It's a pub that everyone joins in, even the Christmas decorations were donated, there was live entertainment, raffles, quizz night, locals play chess, backgammon, darts and pool. Dogs are welcome as long as well behaved. Even Santa, himself payed a visit to the Bellevue, leaving his reindeer on the roof, while he distributed gifts to local children.

The Belle Vue hosted a children's Christmas party and what a excellent job they did , our girls absolutely loved it,credit were credit is due , we'll done ladies and thank you.

Didn't eat there so can't tell you about the food but CAN tell you that this pub just improves year on year and with the balcony doors open with steps down to outdoor seating overlooking the gardens and the sea it was a great place for a pint (a lovely pint) by the sea! Parking on street opposite Right in the heart of Filey town too for shops and eateries
