The Belle Vue in Scarborough

Friendly locals and staff and children are welcome, I don't think food is served here.

Nice friendly bar overlooking the seafront. Good decor and selection of drinks. Dog friendly, with a barrel of biscuits on the bar. Different offers on drinks midweek. Some outside benches when it's warm enough. We only stopped for a quick drink after being on the beach.

Been here many times and always had a good time. However I have been phoning for a couple of days to ask if there's any events over easter but can't get through? Please can you let me know the easiest way to book a table if there is anything happening?

Brilliant dog friendly pub in a great spot with views of the bay. Reasonably priced and a really nice warm atmosphere. Gets a lot of locals in which is always a good sign. Some great pubs in Filey, this may just top the lot !!

Best pub in Filey IMO. Dog friendly, more than reasonable pricing and always a good vibe/atmosphere. In a nice location too overlooking the bay. A real winner !

Our favourite pub when visiting Filey. Dog friendly but unfortunately they don't or can't serve food. Still plenty of options for food nearby. Lovely staff.

Needed somewhere to shelter on a freezing cold day in Filey and popped in here. What a pleasant surprise! A place for the locals and tourists too, I was made to feel so welcome, even though it's 'dry January', this pub was cosy, clean and relaxed with a great atmosphere. Bet the outside space is fantastic in the summer after a stroll along the beach. Well worth an 80 mile round trip - highly recommend.

My partner and I came in on Friday night and we were served by Nathan. We’d never been to the pub before and decided to try something new. We had a lovely time, drinks are a great price, we stayed till closing and didn’t feel rushed out the door when it came to leaving, have been in every night of our trip so far, everyone’s lovely! Highly recommend!

What a lovely couple of lasses who run the Belle Vue. Fantastic atmosphere, live entertainment, quiz nights and host lots of parties for the kids. They do so much for the local community and fundraising for local charities. Can't recommend enough. Definitely 5*

Excellent atmosphere! Especially on a weekend night. Heard nothing but fab reviews on their weekly quiz so il be attending that also. Landlady’s and staff are nothing shy of welcoming and can handle a laugh which seems to be a thing of the past in a lot of pubs nowadays. Highly recommend

Everytime I'm in Filey now, ( which is regular due to my work) I always always pop into this bar. The regulars and staff always make me feel so welcome. From day one I felt right at ease and now whenever I'm in the are I make sure to go in and see everyone. I would recommend this place to anybody looking to unwind and relax or looking for a good night out with fun and frolics and laughter. The staff can't do enough for you and always welcome you with a smile. Definitely my favourite place to go to when I'm in Filey...... You should make it yours too!!

After popping to Filey with family for a day out we decided to stop at this lovely pub the landlady Tina was telling us all about the lovely places around Filey she was so helpful and friendly. Can't recommend this place enough. Definitely visiting again

What an amazing community pub, with, two sisters who are local, in charge, they have many ales, larger, spirits and soft drinks for sale. It's a pub that everyone joins in, even the Christmas decorations were donated, there was live entertainment, raffles, quizz night, locals play chess, backgammon, darts and pool. Dogs are welcome as long as well behaved. Even Santa, himself payed a visit to the Bellevue, leaving his reindeer on the roof, while he distributed gifts to local children.

Absolutely fantastic place to come for drinks. Came a few times with family over the Christmas period and the staff went beyond to make us feel welcome. The place is clean and tidy. The locals were so friendly, willing to make friends with anyone. Will definitely be returning when we are back.

The Belle Vue hosted a children's Christmas party and what a excellent job they did , our girls absolutely loved it,credit were credit is due , we'll done ladies and thank you.

Best place to go in filey hands down, it has the best management, the best bar staff and most definitely the best entertainment especially the quiz on a Wednesday, we go here everytime we are over without fail 😁 xxx

Didn't eat there so can't tell you about the food but CAN tell you that this pub just improves year on year and with the balcony doors open with steps down to outdoor seating overlooking the gardens and the sea it was a great place for a pint (a lovely pint) by the sea! Parking on street opposite Right in the heart of Filey town too for shops and eateries

Really delicious meal! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We loved how many vegan options there were, since this is unusual by the seaside. Will definitely keep this place in mind if we come back to Filey. I was so impressed

A lovely pub in the busy seaside town of Filey. Staff are always friendly and the food is great. Plenty of options especially for my 4 year old who is dairy free, not something you see in many places so fantastic to see this in Belle Vue. Atmosphere is lovely too plus all the events they have during the evenings is worth checking out.

We had a fantastic time at the quiz night on Wednesday. Will definitely do it again when we are on holiday next year.

Chose to eat at the Belle Vue after checking out their menu. Was welcomed by friendly staff. Plenty of vegan/vegetarian options to choose from. We had the 'no beef' pie and chips and it was brilliant. Great service, great staff and great price. We will be returning again soon.

We took the family to the Thursday quiz afternoon. We all enjoyed it very much. They had adult quizzes and children quizzes. Adults won money and the children won prizes. They made everyone feel welcome. It got very busy.

A good pub along the sea front. Really warm inside which is needed in January! Excellent pint of San Miguel too. The young man behind the bar Lee, couldn’t do enough for us advising us on where to eat with a dog in tow & fussing over our dog bringing her a water bowl without any prompting. Will definitely visit in peak time as was so welcoming & a proper pub vibe. Thanks Lee for your hospitality 🍺🍺

A great place for quizzes/bingo etc. The service is quick at the bar, they have the usual bar snacks, and an array of drinks. Very, friendly with a warm welcome. Do try it!
