The best restaurants in Filey Scarborough Yorkshire and The Humber

Second time having breakfast at The Pines for me, third for my mum and brother with whom I come on holiday to lovely Filey. I can see how the local older folk love this little cafe but you don't have to be old to appreciate its charm or indeed a good, reasonably priced English breakfast. Malcolm is a great host with his cheeky banter!

We visited here on a Saturday morning, there were only a couple of tables free, lovely atmosphere, dogs are allowed in. We had drinks and my daughter had a bacon sandwich, really nice and not too expensive. We will definitely visit again for something to eat!

Went to Benny’s for my birthday this evening. We had the sharing platter which absolutely filled us right up! Portions are huge and all of it was gorgeous. Steak melted in your mouth. Service was so quick and staff were really lovely. Also had cocktails which were equally lovely. Really nice atmosphere. Would 10000% go here again.

The best fresh doughnuts ever tasted ! big light fluffy definitely return here. With Nice coffee too. I would recommend a visit.

Ordered a medium beef dinner, yorkshire pudding wrap, lemon cake and a apple crumble/custard. All were lovely! Fast service and good price for quality food. Would definitely come again and recommend x

1st time customer but I will use again. Two roast pork Sunday lunches, all the trimmings available plus peas, carrots cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes, Yorkshire puds and onion gravy. Lovely food at good price served by nice friendly people. Thank you

What a marvellous little find. Called out of season but still had to go on a wait list for a table. Obviously very popular. They rang not too long after and we enjoyed the afternoon tea. Would recommend to anyone looking for lunch in the area

Went two mornings for breakfast, we were able to take our dog also. Our order was taken within minutes and the actual breakfast arrived quickly and piping hot, mug of tea to wash it down, 2 empty plates😋, service was good on both days and food was excellent, which is why we returned, would definitely go again and maybe try lunch, also no hesitation in recommending 👍

Fantastic little find. Chicken Kiev calzone best pizza dough. Penne pasta dish, so creamy. Lovely dessert. Ate early to avoid Halloween rush, so a great meal and unbelievable prices when the bill came. We'd arrived in happy hour 😀. Would pay full price as worth every penny. I was told this is the best chippy in filey. It really didn’t disappoint, I ordered Haddock and chips with a coffee, the food was exceptional, really crispy batter on a really moist and flavoursome piece of fish. I think the food would be hard to beat anywhere in the country. Wonderful. And, proper old fashioned service, another thing that’s hard to find these days.

We booked a table for a Friday night (advisable as it is a fairly small restaurant) and it was our first visit but had been recommended by friends. The food was excellent, very tasty. There was a specials menu in addition to the usual menu. The house red wine was also superb. Considering it was very busy, the service was also excellent. Our table was ready and waiting and we were served promptly. The cost was very reasonable considering the quality of the meals (and we had a bottle of house red). Definitely a great place to go for a meal if visiting Filey.

What a great place we spent weekend in Filey celebrating a 50th birthday, didn’t book was wandering around looking for fish n chips in the recent storm when we found this place. Quickly seated 11 of us for a carvery which was delicious, loads of choice, friendly, helpful staff, great atmosphere and my husband took a take our pudding which was also delicious Would recommend, loved all the pirate decor
