The best restaurants in Filey Scarborough Yorkshire and The Humber

Absolutely fantastic food, staff were attentive and polite. Clean plates from all 4 of us. The only thing that let it down was that people who had ordered take out, were hovering to collect their food. I would highly recommend , just a shame that they are not any monsoons in west yorkshire

Cracking find on our holiday. Beautiful place, good food, decent selection of beer. Definitely looking forward to visiting again next time we are up.

Six of us seated across two tables. Ordered over £40 of food and drinks. Drinks came together but only one of the three meals. We waited. The first meal was finished. We waited. Our drinks were finished. We waited. The couple who arrived after us received their food. We questioned where our meals were. We were told it was because we were on seperate tables. We pointed out the other couple arriving later. The waitress, unapologetically went to chase it up. We were told because there was a mix of breakfast and lunch order, they were cooked separately. Breakfast menu was egg on toast, lunch menu was child’s beans on toast but apparently they take much longer. We were told that we should have been made aware of the delay, we weren’t, we were then patronisingly told that they weren’t going explain how a cafe kitchen works. Overall, very rude. As a family who come to Filey regularly and have been paying customers in this cafe we will not be returning again.

Come here every week and without fail service and quality of both food and staff are excellent.

We'd been walking around Filey on a wet morning and were looking for a spot of lunch. This place fitted the bill, service is friendly and we both had the soup of the day - clam chowder which came with a bread roll.

What a great coffee shop, quite spacious inside. Fantastic drinking chocolate. We decided to have lunch here and were not disappointed, very nice! Frothies is definitely worth a visit!

Lovely little coffee shops. Only had a hot chocolate, but it was huge with lots of cream and marshmallows! Dog friendly and a good sized menu, food looked good and friendly staff!

Wonderful food and excellent service! We booked a table of 8 late in the day but they managed to squeeze us in. Two of us had the Fillet steaks and they were cooked to perfection (one rare and one well done), kids had pasta ( Lasagne, Carbonara and Penne Salmone) all freshly/home made. Others in our group had a Calzone and a veggie pasta. Everyone really enjoyed their meal, finished off nicely with some delicious Profiteroles that we took home. Great atmosphere and the owners (Chef and front of house) and the waitresses were lovely and very friendly. Highly recommended.

Opening times laughable in the height of the season. At 945am still not ready to serve though they are supposed to open at 9. Stood at the counter for 5 mins and was deliberately ignored by two staff gossiping. Rather tarnished our view of Filey. Great though that the owners don't need the business.

Had a three day trip to play golf at Filey staying local and as a group of four we used the restaurant a couple of times. Very friendly staff, incredibly well accommodating, wonderful specials and very reasonably priced. Can highly recommend, we hope to visit again.

Nice beer garden, garden is very dog friendly and a lovely Peroni van.

On holiday and decided to call in for a drink at lunch time. Heard about the quiz later that night and they said they would save us a table. We turned up and had a brilliant night, all the staff we lovley and welcoming, as were the locals. Got a really good sense of community spirit from everyone. Would definitely call in again anytime.

Home cooked food in large portions maybe too large. Food was very expensive although some dishes you could share they are that big. Food is nice but didn't leave us wanting to return. Manager wasn't very nice to the waitress which wasn't nice to listen to.

Lovely food and friendly service

We were staying in filey for week and called in here 4 times great pub friendly staff, Lewis served us the most and a credit to the place, but all staff were good . Cheap drinks,good choice and can't wait to go back sees you in September .cheers mark
