Great local pub with very good food,served by very friendly and efficient staff.

What can I say? Azhar is a fantastic guy and great with his customer service skills. The portion sizes are always huge and the service absolutely perfect every time. Probably the best fish and chips in Dewsbury I’d say easily. I’d highly recommend chipbox!

Absolutely lovely restaurant - great service and fabulous food. Excellent venue for a special birthday celebration - and the staff couldn't have been more attentive. We'll be back very soon!

Went for lunch, my wife had the fish butty and I had the roast beef with onions and gravy. They were brilliant, a lot of fish and beef, and very tasty. Great ale on tap, what more could you want?

This place is traditional. The food is very good. The one thing that absolutely is refreshing is the positive friendly customer service. The young staff are probably all under 21 however their attention to detail and care for the customers is 10/10. This is from an ex restaurant owner of many years. We will be back for sure. Very over priced average burger on the dry side, we ordered 2 different double burgers and they were so thin and dry. The onion rings were excellent. Save your money!

Bottomless brunch was just that. Grace made our visit a very pleasant one. She was attentive and made sure we always had a drink. Chatty and friendly made us feel very welcome.

Dixons has gone so down hill it’s unbelievable. The girls that work there are just soo disgraceful and make up the rules as they go along. Was told previously they stop doing milkshakes at 9.30 so now I just waited half an hour in a queue got to the front at 9.10 and they go now they stop it at 9. Completely disgraceful will not make it as been waiting for soo long they can’t be bothered to even put up a sign at what time they actual stop making the milkshakes. Peed me right off simply won’t come here again. They getting soo many complaints lately losing customers won’t be surprised if sooner then late another establishment that will close down if it keeps going like this.

After walking around looking for somewhere to eat we ended up here, so glad we did sensational food and service. The food was so good despite having very full bellies we just had to get a desert. Absolutely fantastic great new menu.

I think this old traditional little tea room deserves it's 5* review. We had a warm welcome, it was a relaxing atmosphere and staff lovely. I'm very fussy about my food and I had no complaints whatsoever. Nicely presented, well cooked and piping hot and good sized portion. Good variety on menu. This is a dog friendly place and noticed the little dog on the next table was served a sausage, thought this was a nice touch. Left feeling very relaxed. Will definitely be returning on a next visit to the area.

Clean tidy. food is pretty good/decent menu/ prices average/ coffee very good. Well worth a visit. Centre of honley.
