The best restaurants in Kirklees Yorkshire and The Humber

Myself and a friend ordered 4 small plates. The quality of the food is amazing, very tasty and incredibly good value for money. I cannot recommend Bambukat highly enough. It was very quiet when we visited but this restaurant deserves to be packed. Spread the word.

Friendly staff, great food and very welcoming. I highly recommend. The tuna melt was just what I needed. Next time the homemade cottage pie. It looked hearty and very tasty. Price wise it’s more than reasonable. Well worth a visit(weekly)

Our first visit yesterday,we were in dewsbury and did a quick Google search for a locatioion for breakfast. We both chose The Turkish Breakfast and it was delicious,really tasty,and the portion size was just right. My partner brought home some of the sweet teats and they were lovely too. The husband and wife couple who were running it were polite smiley friendly folks who gave us great service. We will be going back again

We had a family and friends birthday party here . Many of us had been before in the daytime for food which is excellent. However the event last night was perfect . The food , service and the environment was all first class . I would not hesitate recommending this to anyone who was thinking about arranging a private function.

Absolutely amazing mix grill platter yet again, the food is fresh and super tasty I cannot fault it at all. We will be back

They serve the best tea around west Yorkshire. Have tried quite a lot. The staff is welcoming and respectful. The prices are above £4.5-6 but worth for the drink's quality.

I strongly recommend that you give this place a try. It is in a great location directly opposite Huddersfield Town Hall. Food and drinks are very good and at an unbeatable price. The interior is very pleasant and the service excellent. My hot main meal was prepared to order, and very enjoyable.They are clearly very aware as to the needs of vegan/vegetarian/gluten free diners. It is a great place for a working lunch or shopping trip, or to meet friends or for business. The place is a great credit to the managers and staff, operating as a charity and offering a wide range of services for community benefit.

Excellent fish 'n' chips, best for miles around. All fish are cooked to order therefore lovely and crispy. Spotlessly clean and the owners and staff are really friendly.

Amazing staff with vegetarian & vegan food that is really tasty. Dog friendly. A total safe space. Occasional busy days due to large parties attending.

Fabulous fish and chips. Hearty, tasty. It's all about the battery. Crispy without being crunchy, tasty yet melt in the mouth. Proper nosh.

I have been coming here for years and will never go anywhere else for my full English. The veggie sausages are my favourite and the staff here are wonderful, very friendly and accommodating. Overall, great atmosphere, good vibes and good food! Ps. you're in for a treat if Sherrelle is working, excellent customer service!
