I strongly recommend that you give this place a try. It is in a great location directly opposite Huddersfield Town Hall. Food and drinks are very good and at an unbeatable price. The interior is very pleasant and the service excellent. My hot main meal was prepared to order, and very enjoyable.They are clearly very aware as to the needs of vegan/vegetarian/gluten free diners. It is a great place for a working lunch or shopping trip, or to meet friends or for business. The place is a great credit to the managers and staff, operating as a charity and offering a wide range of services for community benefit.

On a wet and windy day popped in for coffee and cake and was not disappointed. Warm greeting and relaxed atmosphere. The coffee was good, the chocolate fudge cake was amazing and a huge piece! Served on a wooden board which seemed strange but actually worked very well! This is actually a charity so all proceeds to running of various activities on site. Highly recommended.

Impressive shop, not just a cafe, but a shop and recording studio all in one place. Very friendly and chatty staff, we were made to feel welcome as soon as we walked in. To top it off gluten free & vegan options are available. This is what drew me to the place.

Very relaxed place that serves really good coffee at a fair price, a few cakes etc also available, well worth a visit.

Enjoyed one of the nicest coffees I've had in ages here on an off chance visit - a good strong flavoursome flat white - with scrummy cake on the side. It was quiet when we went in, so lots of space, and the whole place feels relaxed and right on. The cafe is part of a charity which supports lots of sound causes - equality, youth opportunities, etc. and also has a crafty shop at the back and a music thing going on, which is great. But if you just want a drink or a snack, it still feels like you're in a cafe not a project. With good drinks and food at very reasonable prices, wifi and super friendly service. They also do a drink and sandwich meal deal for £5. Vegi and vegan and gluten free options if you're looking for those too. Really glad I tried it as wasn't quite sure what it was from the outside and it didn't look busy, but the vibe was very relaxed and good for friends, families or business meets or laptop tapping.
